  I got lucky with Amoreena! I was assigned Amoreena though the coordinator I hired. While the coordinator turned out to be a phoney unprofessional slug, Amoreena delivered! She showed up an hour before our ceremony which we had spoke about. It was complete chaos in our room due to my coordinator not delivering the correct or complete flowers and Amoreena took it al in stride and just started shooting away. She captured so many photo's of both me and my girls along with the groom and his family in our rooms before the ceremony. The ceremony was also a little chaotic thanks to my coordinator but you would never know looking at our photo's. There are a few shots I wish we would have gotten but didn't and that was more my fault as Amoreena did ask for a shot list before hand, but in the chaotic last hour before the ceremony I couldn't even think straight. All in all they turned out great. I continue to get so many compliments on how they think this was the most beautiful beach wedding. The only knock would be that I wish she had done some editing on my skin on a couple of the bridal close-up shots. But I can take care of that myself and to my liking. All in all I would definitely hire her again, and am hoping to when we go back to Carlsbad next summer for some family shots.   Amoreena and her assistant were fantastic. They got a lot of wonderful shots but not any formal shots (group shots, etc.). My husband picked her, and she was good. She took a lot of photos, made sure to have photos of every attendant at the reception, and also did some fun photoshop experimenting in our proofs. Also, great value for the work. If you're looking for a documentary style photographer, she is great and I believe only getting better (I think she was a bit new at the business when we booked her).
