    Amanda was fantastic from the time we signed the contract to after the wedding ! She helped keep Me calm the day of the wedding, was super professional and was so much fun to work with !!! Our sneak peaks from our engagement sessions and wedding day made us crave more and the albums were everything we wanted and more! Her bubbly personality was just what we needed on our special day !

    I highly recommend Amanda for your wedding for family photography needs !!!

    Amanda was FANTASTIC! We are so happy with our beautiful wedding pictures! She communicated great with me prior to our wedding, arrived early to our event, and was so much fun to work with. She captured so many moments that I wouldn't have even thought of (for example, she caught a picture of my grandmother and my niece interacting, which happened to be the oldest and youngest in attendance at our ceremony! How awesome is that!?) We had a beach wedding and she was able to move us around in different spots to catch the best lighting on the prettiest spots on the beach. She also even walked knee deep in the water (in her maxi skirt) to get great shots for us! Amanda has a super bubbly and fun personality and was so easy to work with! We are so pleased with our decision to hire Amanda and recommend her to everyone!

    Amanda was an absolute pleasure to work with leading up to our wedding date. In our calls leading up to our big day, Amanda was friendly and listened carefully to what we wanted. When we met Amanda for our engagement photos, which happened to be at our rehearsal dinner, it felt as though we had known Amanda for years! She just has that warm and natural personality.

    Our wedding day was seamless. Amanda was shooting away without interfering the special moments. When it came time to do a few posed pictures, Amanda was quick, calm, cool, and efficient. We were able to get all the photos in we had "planned" very quickly! We were able to enjoy the wedding day with absolutely zero frustrations or worry about photos :)

    I highly recommend Amanda as your wedding photographer. She is reasonably priced, and you will be stunned with the final product. Her photos are high quality, and her warm personality makes it easy for you to relax, smile and look beautiful in photos!

    I hired Amanda McMahon for my engagement pictures in May 2016. My fiancé and I had been together for nine years and never had professional photos taken. We are awkward in front of the camera and I was EXTREMELY nervous for these pictures to turn out nicely. Hiring Amanda was the best money I'll probably spend throughout the entire engagement and wedding process. Our pictures turned out fantastic and I can't even begin to express my gratitude and satisfaction!

    From the beginning, she's been extremely flexible with rescheduling as we've had rain and other things come up. We decided to have our pictures done with our pup at our neighborhood beach and they turned out stunningly. I was worried because it was a tad gray out... I was worried because we didn't know how to pose for lovey type photos... I was worried my dog wouldn't behave (and he didn't!) but nothing phased her (not even the wild animal I call my pet) and every photo she captured was amazing. She has an excellent eye for seeing great backdrops at your location, gorgeous poses, angles etc! Every single photo is gorgeous and it was so hard narrowing down our final package!

    Not only was Amanda a more economic choice, but she also was the sweetest, most responsive and actually accommodating. Why do I say this? Because I felt like the other two photogs I contacted were less interested in my business/accommodating with their/my schedule when I told them I was not interested in booking a wedding photog package at the time -- I just wanted the engagement photos. I never felt this with Amanda. She was an AMAZING value and you will not be disappointed.

    Amanda is both incredibly talented and the sweetest person to have the pleasure and opportunity to work with. From the moment I met her I felt an instant bond because she is so personable and friendly. She wanted to know our vision for both our engagement session and for our wedding day, and her photos demonstrated the care and attention to detail that could only be expected of a true artist. Her work made us look like we were from a magazine! We feel so fortunate to have been able to have her as our photographer and I feel even more fortunate to have her as a new friend.

    Amanda was so wonderful to work with. She was early to my wedding, snapping photos of me and my wedding party, my table settings and guests. I highly recommend her for your wedding or any event. All night I kept hearing so many good comments on our photographer!! Thanks Amanda!

    Extemley satisfied with Amanda's work. She did both our engagement and wedding pictures, and was able to incorporate both our dog and new harley in the pictures. The quality in her pictures is amazing, she was very open minded to our ideas as well as professional and flexible with our work schedules and weather changes.     Amanda was amazing! She is extremely flexible and professional, she traveled all over for us. My husband and I had our engagement photos taken in upstate NY where Amanda and I both grew up. Then she traveled to Boston and was willing to rough it in a dorm for our wedding weekend. She is extremely personable and very genuine she a huge fit with our friends and family. On top of that her work is amazing! We were blown away with her photos. Usually photos don't do the event or location justice however this was not the case for us. The photo were exactly how we remember the day and captured the most that were most important to us! We honestly cannot thank her enough!

    Amanda was amazing to work with. She has a clear passion for photography and feels like your best friend from the moment you meet her. I've never been too comfortable in front of a camera, but amanda helped me to relax and enjoy the experience. She is easy going, very professional, and lots of fun. She was the best investment of my wedding. The photos are the only thing you have after its all said and done. And the quality of the photos are extremely important. She continues to be our go-to photographer for all of our family photography needs.

    Amanda photographed our June 21st wedding at Running Hare Vineyard in Prince Frederick, Maryland. We couldn't possibly say enough about how truly wonderful Amanda is, but we'll try! Amanda was the epitome of professionalism-- always available to answer questions, incredibly well-prepared (she even memorized family members and their relationship to us making portraits a breeze!), and organized--all while somehow still managing to be incredibly personable & thoughtful. From the start we felt like Amanda was a fun friend we had known for ages, we felt so comfortable around her & it really showed in our pictures. She played a huge role in making our day incredible and we'll forever be grateful for the beautiful memories her photos will allow us to relive for years to come. We are so lucky to have found such a gem-- you rock, Amanda!

    Amanda has been absolutely wonderful! She is extremely responsive and very helpful. She came to our house to meet us and brought albums for us to look at. I sent her some random planning-related questions and she was always helpful. Online invoicing/payments make the process really easy. The day of the wedding she took control, got all the post - ceremony photos done quickly, worked well with our DJ, and was very flexible. AND the photos have been awesome! We love our engagement photos and all the wedding photos have been amazing so far! Definitely recommend Amanda!!

    My husband and I hired Amanda McMahon Photography to do our Wedding in Sarasota Florida this past March. And she did an AMAZING job! As we knew she would from the Engagement session we had with her months before. All of our friends and family have complimented our photos, and we are in love with them! You will be SO happy you hired her for your memorable event, our photos are the best memories. She is such a sweet, kind person that once you meet her, you will feel that you've known her forever!     Being a hobbyist photographer myself it was the most important detail when for our wedding. So I took a referral from a friend and met Amanda. We had to conduct business over the phone, being long distance, and I fell in love with her bright personality. And when we met the day of the wedding I was not disappointed. She kept a smile on our and our guests faces the whole day and you can see it in the photos. Our picture turned out amazing!
    The service even after the wedding was so personal and professional, we couldn't have been happier.

    Amanda is amazing! She was definitely a relieve in all the stress of wedding planning!
    I left the photography department completely in her hands and she went above and beyond what I expected! She is very easy to work with and has a great personality! Can't wait to do my "trash-the-dress" session with her!

    Amanda is a true joy to work with! From initial consultation to delivering the final product, she truly delivers the best service with true professionalism and friendliness to boot!

    In my personal experience, Amanda was there from the first decisions we made about our wedding (colors, venue, etc.) and is still there, not only as a wedding professional, but as an esteemed friend.     Amanda was a wonderful photographer! We were extremely happy with our engagement photos, and having those come as part of the package meant that we were much more comfortable on our wedding day. She arrived on time ready to work, and was happy to take suggestions for pictures! She even went out and got some photos of the groom's family playing minigolf across the street. I only wish that she was a little less expensive, as we definitely stretched our budget to afford her. However, her prices are on point with other local photographers, and I appreciated that she had an honest discussion with me regarding her prices and where we could realistically save money.

    I would NOT recommend Amanda as your wedding photographer. Her schedule is iffy at best. We booked her 6 months before the wedding, and didn't get our engagement session until less than three months before the wedding and the pictures showed up the week of the wedding. Her prices are very unreasonable for a person of her experience. We paid her an additional $250 for an additional hour of work the night of the wedding. During this time she took very few pictures and was videotaped dancing on the dance floor. The final products were less than good quality. All of our guests were in agreement. The bride looked like a floating head and the groom was a headless body due to her over exposure of the pictures. You wouldn't be able to tell that there was not a cloud in the sky for this outdoor wedding. The sky was pure white in most of the pictures. After the wedding we did not see our products for over two months, and that was just the proofs.

    Normally, I wouldn't respond to these types of things, however, I want to address Kevin's concerns posted here:

    Firstly, I am sorry that you feel this way, Kevin.

    - Our schedule is considered busy, yes. We do have both a personal and a professional life and it's very important to balance both. There are times during the year where we are extremely busy, but we always work very hard to schedule everything appropriately and timely.

    -Normally engagement sessions do happen about 3 months before the wedding, sometimes closer and sometimes further out. It's just based on both my, and the couples' schedules. Kevin and his fiancee received their photos 1 month prior to their wedding but didn't select their 8x10's until the week of the wedding, resulting in cutting close.

    -Our editing style at the time of their wedding was the same as the weddings prior to, and identical to the samples we had showed upon meeting them before booking. Recently, we have grown and changed, but at the time, our editing style was very consistent to previous events.

    -Kevin received his images exactly 5 weeks after their wedding, which was 1 weeks before the max time limit we state in our contract (6 weeks for "off" month weddings-theirs was in March). Their album took 2 months because they did not get to proofing their album for several weeks once we sent them over (1 week after they selected their album images).

    That's it :) We're very sorry to hear Kevin's feedback on here. We wish they would've been addressed with us prior to, but unfortunately, they were not. We hope you understand our concern in addressing this. We didn't rock his socks, and that's o.k.

    Also- We like to dance, but we always have camera in hand. According to camera data, we took aprox. 150 photos in the last hour of the reception (the additional hour covered). Being out there with guests allows us to really get some great action shots, and they have a lot of fun interacting with us too!
