Highly recommend Allison!

Allison did an absolutely amazing job as our wedding photographer. I am not the type of person who enjoys having her picture made, and I do not like seeing them of myself. Honestly, I was worried I would hate looking at them. However, I am in love with our pictures! I cannot stop reliving that day! I felt and looked beautiful! Book Allison for your wedding!

Allison is an amazing wedding photographer who truly captured every special moment, from start to finish, during our most beautiful day! When we saw our photos for the first time, we truly felt like we were reliving our wedding day! Allison is so professional and friendly to work with, she is timely, responsive, and organized, completely exceeded our expectations, &; our pictures turned out more beautiful than we could've imagined! Allison also put together a beautiful slideshow presentation for us which was a very nice touch, 100% would recommend her to anyone! Thank you SO much Allison for making our wedding day that much more special and capturing every magical moment that we will cherish forever!

Allison is truly a pleasure to work with. She captures beautiful moments that will last a lifetime. The quality of the photographs she takes are amazing, classy, and timeless. Allison did an amazing job with my younger sister's wedding and children's photos, so I knew I wanted her for my wedding celebration! Allison took my engagement and wedding pictures, My husband and I couldn't have been more pleased. It was truly a wonderful experience!!! I'm still blown away over our pictures and will treasure them forever!

We used Allison for engagement, bridal, and wedding day photos and she was awesome to work with! Allison is very professional, talented, and delivers superb photographs. Yes, wedding photos are costly, but so worth the price. After the special day is over it's so wonderful to have quality photos to help you remember the beauty of the day.

Allison did a wonderful job capturing special moments! I had my electricity shut down during the reception from a storm. I was so worried my pictures wouldn't look good. WRONG, they looked amazing! Allison truly does great work.

If I could give Allison more than 5 stars I would! She honestly EXCEEDED my expectations! The best multifunctional photographer! Not only did she take pictures but she also fixed my hair before some of the photos and helped with my dress haha. Not going to lie, I was so worried about how our pictures were going to turn out -- NOT because of Allison's photographer expertise/experience but because my husband and I were so miserably hot and sweaty being outside (Alabama summer weather is no joke!). I got my pictures back (in a timely manner) and I was blown away!! She did EXACTLY what I wanted AND you would have never know that there was anything wrong (the struggle was real with that heat/humidity). They turned out absolutely beautiful. Allison truly has a gift! Besides getting married to my husband, the only thing that I really cared about were the pictures -- Allison definitely delivered!! She helped make our wedding day that much more special. So glad I went with Allison Jansen Photography!! She didn't make it a hard decision for me to want to go with her though -- you know immediately after taking a look at her work. She's the best!

Allison Jansen Photography was truly perfect in every way. Allison captured every special moment of our wedding day AND all the little moments in between. The photos she takes are beautiful!! I would recommend her to ANYONE needing a wedding photographer. She was always very easy to communicate with and so easy to work with! You would be crazy not to use Allison Jansen Photography!

I closely followed Allison's work for years and was thrilled to book her for our wedding. Allison was absolutely wonderful to work with. She helped everything stay low-key and on schedule. Had a timeline prepared for the day-of and we didn't experience any of the dreaded "hurry up and wait." She effectively managed all the obligatory group shots, and wasn't shy about telling everyone to look at her FIRST and then other people could take their pictures. Even my dad commented that he liked her efficiency and the way she handled the large groups. She replies to emails within a day (even when it would take me forever). We received our proofs and album very quickly.

Most importantly, our pictures are beautiful!!!! She captured the true essence and beauty of the day - love, family, friendship, and fun! Multiple people commented her pictures were better than paying for any videographer.... as you look through them, you feel the emotion and joy we were experiencing. When I look at the pictures, I can easily "see" the memory and remember the way I felt in that specific moment. And that, is a sign of an excellent photographer.

Allison was wonderful! I would highly recommend her to anyone. We had to change our date and location for our wedding and she was completely flexible. She captured the entire day beautifully, I've had SO many compliments on our photos! She captured every shot I requested plus so many more candids. Our formal pictures and first look were efficiently done and so many photos were taken but we didn't feel rushed at all. Everything went smoothly. If you're looking for a photographer you can't go wrong here!

I am so happy that I chose to use Allison as my wedding photographer. She was creative with using the venue to get a wide variety of backgrounds, and the photos turned out wonderful! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing a wedding photographer.

Allison really was amazing. At first, I thought her prices were very high and was really hoping I would get my money's worth. I can definitely say that I did! The style of her photography is absolutely timeless-I have pictures I will enjoy for the next 50 years! She really did an amazing job with the little details and making sure all the important moments were captured! My advice to brides, write down every type of picture you want-she will get it done!

Allison Jansen Photography was so amazing to work with. She worked around my crazy schedule to meet and discuss my event, and always promptly responded to all of my questions. The day of our event, I didn't have to worry about a thing with photography, she captured every moment I wanted and more! The quality and pricing of her work was A+++. I would definitely recommend her, and use her again if I need professional photos taken. Thank you Allison for capturing my day so wonderfully. Oh and she made an amazing slideshow to music!

Allison and Jessica did a beautiful job photographing our wedding in Iowa this past summer! They are a highly experienced, organized, and professional team, without being overly directive or pushy. They captured so many perfect moments from the day - what I liked the best is that they took so many flattering and unexpected candid photographs, as well as beautiful posed shots. I would recommend Allison and Jessica's services to anyone!

Allison and her team were wonderful! They were laid back and flexible and still created such beautiful pictures. We are absolutely thrilled with our wedding photos. Allison was able to capture every moment of our special day to ensure that we can reflect on details that a bride and groom may miss out on seeing. Allison Jansen was a joy to work with. She was very professional, and our wedding pictures are gorgeous. Allison captured so many special moments at our wedding; my husband and I keep looking at our album over and over again because we love the pictures so much. Additionally, Allison was very prompt to respond to any phone calls or emails, and easy to schedule meetings/engagement picture sessions with. Allison captured beautiful pictures in a timely manner, so that the day of the wedding we didn't have to spend very much time taking pictures. Allison has a passion for photography and produces beautiful work. She is very kind and a joy to work with.

Allison and her assistant/sister Jessica were fantastic! They were very unobtrusive. I often forgot someone was taking pictures, which resulted in a very natural, photo-journalistic feel to the pictures. If you like a newer style of wedding photographs (less posed, more artistic and spontaneous) AJP is for you! She is very calming, manages large crowds well, and very talented!

I was thrilled with my experience using Allison Jansen for my engagement and wedding photography. I had called many wedding photographers in preparation for the wedding, and it hadn't been the best experience. I had agreed to work with a photographer who ended up being impossible to get in touch with. After not hearing back from them for over a month, I had to make a change.

That's when I heard about Allison. Everything was easy from then on. Allison is so professional and prompt to reply. With so many things to worry about when planning a wedding, I could breathe easy about photography because I was in great hands. She's very efficient and can get great photos quickly. Her work is exceptional - the photos from our engagement session and the wedding are gorgeous. She made everyone feel at ease when she was shooting them, and everyone at the wedding was impressed. As we didn't have a clear wedding coordinator, Allison was also a help in moving the day along - suggesting the cake cutting and helping coordinate everyone's positions for our exit. The wedding photos were really important to me, and they did not disappoint. I feel confident in suggesting Allison Jansen to any bride.

We love the pictures Allison took for us!!! We had our engagement session and wedding pictures done with Allison. Very happy!! Allison and her assistant were able to capture all the right moments and create wonderful memories for us! The weather wasn't so great, but you can't even tell! Also, not everyone was very comfortable in front of the camera, but Allison was able to make all the guests look great and flattering!

Allison and her team created such a beautiful story of my wedding day! She captured every moment I asked her to and she used her creativity to create magical, sweet, and intimate moments of the entire day. She provided me with a plethora amount of photos and every photo is special to my heart. Every photo had a meaning and a purpose that displayed how people felt; whether they were tearing up the dance floor, seeing friends and family they haven't seen in a while, or guests absorbing the intimacy of the small church where the ceremony was held. Allison can do it all--photos of small details, natural and informal moments, and formal ones as well! Allison is truly a talented photographer and I highly recommend her!

We are so happy with our wedding photos! Allison was easy to work with, professional and flexible. When it rained on our wedding day she changed on a dime and figured out a new plan that worked, and even stood in the rain to get some great shots. Highly recommended!
