Daughter’s Quinceañera

On August of this year, I contacted Alizos Wedding for my daughters Quinceañera celebration. I couldn’t be more happy and pleased with their services. The officiant Mrs. Hughes was very professional, she was punctual and thorough. I met with her a week before the celebration to cover what I wanted in the speech. She did an awesome job my speech was exactly what I wanted and was conveyed in English and Spanish. I was very fortunate to have contacted Alizos for my daughters quinceañera it definitely was a memorable one .

Zoraida was the best!
My husband and I were initially going to have our ceremony at a courthouse but after really thinking about it we decided to have it were the reception was going to take place and we also preferred to have it in Spanish (this all happened the day prior to the our wedding day.) I found Zoraida and explained and she was able to accommodate us. She was very kind and profesional. I would definitely recommend her!

My husband and I were very pleased with Zoraida. She made my life as a very busy bride a whole lot easier than it could have. When we were looking for an Officiant we wanted to make sure that we picked the right person for our ceremony, since that was the most important part to us. Zoraida did an excellent job with making both sides of the family feel apart of the ceremony seeing that we had Spanish speaking guest. Zoraida was on time for both the rehearsal as well as the ceremony.
My husband and I would like to thank you Zoraida for making our ceremony all that we expected and then some.

We had Nathan as our wedding officiant and I can't say enough about what a good job he did! He was very professional and made both me and my husband feel very comfortable! He was very easy to get a hold of and communicate with in regards to any questions or concerns we had. He gave us many examples of services he had done in the past and options for how we wanted our service to go. Whenever I had a question he was right there to answer and just made the whole process very relaxed and easy going! He did our service exactly the way I wanted it with no questions or without making us feel pushed rushed or geared towards any other way! Nathan is a phenomenal officiant, he was on time to both rehearsal and wedding and he stuck around patiently waiting and without pushing us to sign the marriage license! Like I said there isn't a bad thing I can say about this company and or Nathan and I would highly recommend them to be used for your wedding!

You only get one chance at a seamless, unforgettable wedding ceremony, and that is exactly why I am so pleased that I chose Alizos Weddings to officiate my wedding! From start to finish, I was impressed with the professionalism that I experienced between both Zoraida and Nathan. Zoraida was organized and incredibly helpful. When I found myself struggling with the ceremony that I wanted for our big day, Zoraida helped me to find a beautiful ceremony to represent my husband and me. Nathan officiated our wedding and he ensured that both our rehearsal and ceremony was perfect! I found Alizo's Wedding by doing a Google search near me. I had previously contacted other venders but they were not returning my calls. I made all my agreement with Zoraida and she sent me the confirmation informing me that Nathan Hughes would be the officiate for my wedding. I could not have asked for someone better than Nathan. He was very professional. He always had a big smile on his face before, during, and after our ceremony. He made my wedding pictures look even more special.

Zoraida was a pleasure to work with. She made everything very easy and was exactly what we were looking for. She was on time to our rehersal as well as our wedding. Very personal ceremony, a very human approach and hearth deep. Zoraida takes this very serious and professional, giving us all kind of advice, being a very important part of the ceremony but giving the new married couple all the attention and shine. Nuestra boda se planifico en 4 dias!!!! fue una emergencia y Zoraida fue un Angel caido del cielo. No sabia por donde empezar ni que hacer y empezamos contactandonos con ella que nos dio las primeras pautas.
Arreglo su agenda para casarnos el dia que necesitabamos, llego muy puntual e hizo la ceremonia mas linda que jamas imagine!!!!!! Me ayudo a conseguir a la persona que toco la musica y hasta me hizo recordar que teniamos que tener aros.
Yo estaba muy nerviosa dada las circunstancias y con ella, poco a poco escuchando la tranquilidad en sus palabras y lo bonito y emotivo de cada cosa que decia me fui calmando.
Nunca imagine casarme en mi casa y en 4 dias, pero gracias a Zoraida tuve una boda Maravillosa q jamas sone ! Gracias Zoraida !!!

The service was great, we were very happy with her work. She told the band guys to put up some microphones and speakers so the guest could hear what she was saying throughout the ceremony which was good because we sure didn't think of doing that. My dad said if he ever gets married again he will call for your services again.

It was a challenge to find a bilingual officiant. I came across Alizo's and got a quick response. Their prices were great. Any questions I had, Zoraida answered them so quickly. The day of they arrived on time. She even waited a few minutes extra, my maid of honor was late. It was all beautiful. I am extremely happy and satisfied. Thank you Alizo's!

From the first conversation I had with Zoraida over the phone, I felt like I was talking to an old friend. She was very helpful and friendly. We wanted our ceremony to be in spanish so she sent us 5 scripts for us to choose from and we combined them to make it our own. The ceremony was perfect and beautiful, she did a wonderful job! We met with Zoraida several months before our wedding day and we knew at that time that she was going to be our Officiant. She was very knowledgable and professional. She gave us options for our family which was appreciated and used during our ceremony.

Zoraida was our Bilingual Officiant at our Lake Arrowhead wedding in November, 2012. It was a very, very cold day and even snowed the day before. We were going to move our wedding indoors and Zoraida was very flexible with the sudden time change. We were very thankful that she understood our concern with the weather. She dressed very nice and had a very clear voice, (things most would forget to look into :) ) I HIGHLY recommend Alizos Wedding and Zoraida to everyone as well as our future family weddings. I hope to see her again soon.

We wanted a lovely outdoor ceremony that would not drag on and keep our guests sweating in the sun. I spoke to Zoraida and she was very helpful through the whole process. We had scripts to choose from and we were able to combine those scripts and mold it to what we wanted for our wedding. It was very sweet and straight to the point, which is what we wanted. They will accommodate you and fit in those things that are most important for your wedding. (We didn't do unity candles or anything like that). The officiant did a great job. I was happy to have a bilingual script that was able to include my spanish speaking family in my ceremony. Zoraida was even helpful in getting a copy of my marriage license to me so that I can send it to add my husband to my medical benefits ( we misplaced the copy that was given to us at the ceremony, oops). I am happy with the choice to use their services.

Id suggest the officiant contact the couple and get a little more personal information such as how they met and what drew them to each other. Saying something during the ceremony about this would make the ceremony itself alittle more personal.

First of all, we are so grateful that we found Zoraida. The very first conversation we had she listened attentively and immediately accepted our date, when so many others, including pastors from our church, could not. The day of our wedding, November 25th 2011, she was professional, soothing, and did an amazing job with the bilingual transcript we planned for our ceremony. I just cannot say enough. There are no words to express our gratitude for such a BEAUTIFUL....Wedding Ceremony! It was one of a kind, timeless. I come from a traditional Latin American family with Catholic beliefs. My husband, African American with Baptist beliefs. Zoraida (our wedding officiant) translated our ceremony in both spanish and english. She was so respectful of our religious backgrounds and those of our families. She really helped make everyone feel comfortable and at ease. It was ~PERFECT~! I would highly recommend Zoraida! Nathan Hughes was our bilingual officiant. He was early and ready to go. He joined us at our rehearsal dinner and was so patient with all the chaos. He's amazing. Everyone was teary eyed at our ceremony. Having a bilingual ceremony was so important so that everyone felt included. He's all around awesome. I recommend anyone at Alizos to officiate your wedding. My husband and I had been looking for a bilingual officiant for some time and we were beginning to get discouraged when we found Alizos Weddings. We called and spoke to Zoraida and we immediately knew we wanted her to officiate our wedding ceremony. It was so important to us to have a bilingual ceremony that represents us since we (my husband and I) are Mexican American and our parents are very traditional (Mexican). Speaking of tradition, Zoraida did such a great job at incorporating some traditional elements into our ceremony (lazo & arras) and also some non-traditional elements like the rose ceremony, reading of a poem and a blessing. Zoraida was proffesional & friendly and she has such a nice voice too! Zoraida even mingled w/ some of our guests prior to the ceremony as we ran late. My mother in law later told me she talked w/ Zoraida for quite some time prior to the ceremony and she had nothing but nice things to say about Zoraida. To date our friends and family compliment Zoraida's work stating it was one of the most beautiful ceremonies they have witnessed! Our family and guest's especially loved that the ceremony was bilingual! We could not have chosen a better officiant!

Our ceremony was performed by Zoraida. We were looking for a bilingual officiant for a while and when we met with her, we knew we'd found the right person. She was timely, clear, and warm. I just recently got married on July 4th, 2010, I'm a new bride! I just like any other bride was very nervous about the ceremony and wanted everything to go extremely smoothly. Zoraida did a great job of officiating our bilingual ceremony. She had several styles to choose from from religious to non-denominational. Our ceremony felt customized. We got complements about it. We liked the fact that it was about 15 minutes which is all we needed to make it official. We got married in a restaurant with a banquet room so we needed a ceremony that felt more relaxed but still solemn enough to feel like a wedding. She gave us great suggestions and had answers to our questions. Her primary language is Spanish, so she has a slight accent when speaking English. Nonetheless it's not a heavy accent. In Zoraida we found someone who spoke Spanish correctly and is fluent in English. A bilingual ceremony was one way of making our English and Spanish speaking guests included. We're glad we booked Alizos Weddings.

We had Zoraida Hughes conduct our ceremony and it was beautiful to say the least. Zoraida allows for the ceremony, especially the vows to be as personal as you want. And if you rather have a scripted vow, she provides options. We picked Zoraida because she provides bilingual services which was really important to our families. Zoraida works with you over the phone so its convenient. She will also meet with you for a wedding rehearsal and goes over the small details that you do not think about such as: walking down the aisle, how you hold your hands, how you transfer your hands, who holds what. I appreciated this as I had no idea what I was doing. Zoraida also does other additional ceremonies such as the lazo and arras. Zoraida is down to earth, understanding and if you are nervous, she will totally calm you down. I felt comfortable at my ceremony with Zoraida and she is the best.

Alizos Wedding Officiant performed a beautiful bilingual ceremony and everybody loved the wonderful poem that Zoraida picked out for us. We got married on February 15, 2010, and Zoraida was the officiant for our wedding. She was great to work with. Not only did she provide lots of useful samples of ceremonies, she also was very prompt in returning our calls/emails, was very professional, and arrived on time at the location. She's also very friendly and respectful, and really we couldn't ask for a better officiant. We wanted a ceremony in Spanish, and her Spanish was the best (she's a native speaker) of the officiants we considered in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas. Her English is also very good, and we highly recommend her to anyone considering a wedding ceremony.

Rev. Morales gave us the most beautiful wedding ceremony we could have ever dreamed of, with the help of Mrs. Houghes who gave us all of the tools necessary to create our very own personalized ceremony and vows. We did have a couple of issues though. Mrs. Houghes was to have performed our ceremony but had an emergency out of the country, which we can all understand. She did send our ceremony and vows to Rev. Morales, but forgot to give him the information to our ceremony site. Rev. Morales was at my home at the time we were supposed to be getting married. Luckily I don't live too far from the site. I had luckily given my wedding coordinator all of the vendors phone numbers so she called and got ahold of him. He arrived 1/2 hour late shortening our coctail hour by 30 minutes. We lost our photography time with our friends and family and wasted most of the money paid for the hor'dorves since we had to make sure to run the rest of the night on schedule. Another concern we had was that 30 days later,our paperwork was not found by the county recorder's office. We just checked again 6weeks later and it was filed and recorded as of 2 days ago! We are married!!!!

They were very friendly and laid out the process clearly from the get-go. It's hard to find professionals to do bilingual, non-religious ceremonies, so we felt lucky to find these folks. Only suggestion I would offer for improvement is to let clients know if the officiants are native Spanish (or any other language) speakers. We assumed our officiant would be a native speaker but he was not. He was still very nice and friendly, though.

Unfortunately we decided to work with these officiants for our Beach wedding on July 2012.
The bilingual officiant arrived 1hour and 40minutes late to our ceremony which should of started at 3:00pm. In the contract it states the officiant will arrive thirty minutes prior and in this wedding this did not happen. I called our officiant at 3:15pm and he stated he was on his way and was running behind schedule. I had to call him several times with in the hour and even spoke with Zoraida whom stated he was stuck in stopped traffic for an occurred accident. As he arrived he did complete the ceremony but because of his horrible time delay our photography time was cut to 30 minutes giving us time for nothing. As for the Limo was on a time schedule and as well as a live violinist we had for this day. We did have to pay extra for the time he arrived late to the violinist . When i spoke with Zoraida regarding this matter expecting some kind of reinburse back she stated she had to look into it, Then I received a call that there was a police report which could not be handed to her since the officiant himself was not involved in and because of this uncontrolled nature nothing could be done as stated in the contract unless no officiant arrived. She would send us some gift cards that till this day have not received. today is 11-18-12. I understand there are things not under our control but this officiant should of been more responsible and looked up the distance and traffic information and if he must arrived even earlier to make sure his job is done correctly. As for Zoraida we really expected some kind of reinburse since these memories will never be captured again for us or kept her word on the silly gift cards. SO SAD!!!!
