AJ Productions came highly recommended and I was very pleased with their DJ services. The online planning tool is very helpful and easy to use. I had selected a few songs from obscure/unknown artists to be played throughout the evening and AJ was able to find all of them. AJ was great at judging the mood of the crowd and playing songs to keep the dance floor packed.

Where do I even start about AJ? Honestly, he was a huge highlight of our reception! Our family and friends are still talking about how amazing he was and kept the dance floor packed! We chose AJ because we had a non-traditional first dance that involved a fake-out where the music cut out and then my husband and I started dancing to our actual song which is way more upbeat than the song we started dancing to...when we told AJ in our first meeting that we wanted to do this, he was on board and really excited and even sent us a file of what it would potentially sound like! When it came time for the actual day, he played into it so well and actually looked like he really messed up--people had no idea what was happening and it turned out to be such a big surprise! I had so much fun dancing away with my friends and family that night! He was always on top of reminding when payments are due and answers e-mails extremely fast! The entire night, he checked in with me and my husband to make sure everything was going smoothly and staying on time with all of the events of the night! He really knows how to get a party started and keep it going! Thank you so much, AJ--you made our day that much more special!

AJ is a true professional.He made our reception look and flow seamlessly despite big drama from my family's side.None of our guests were aware because they were so distracted by the dance floor.He was able to take our musical taste and run with it. My husband and I planned the wedding ourselves on a tight budget but AJ was very accommodating.With him you get more than a DJ you get professional assistance on schedule planning and really good advice with a wide musical selection.We had an eclectic selection and there wasn't a song that AJ couldn't find down to the very last minute.You can tell he loves what he does.He is a true artist.

I used AJ for my March 16, 2013 wedding. AJ did a great job! I would 100% recommend AJ. AJ was very easy to work with throughout the entire process.

He was in constant communication throughout our planning process. AJ helped us maneuver through his online planning tools which we found to be very helpful. AJ emailed when payments were due and everything was very transparent because everything was online. AJ has a section online where you can request certain songs and add songs to a do not play list.

I did not leave the dance floor of my wedding! AJ played great music and the guests loved every minute of it!

Aj provided DJ and uplighting services for our wedding on Feb 23, 2013 and he was amazing!! the uplighting made the whole room come together and the music kept everyone dancing all night long. His website was so helpful in managing everything from the timeline of the day to what songs we wanted to play. He was extremely professional, timely, and flexible. AJ did a PHENOMENAL job at our wedding. He was prompt with his responses to any emails, he periodically sent us reminders about upcoming payments (without overloading my email whatsoever!). He was incredibly detail oriented, allowing me to create a specific timeline for when I wanted what songs played, and on the day of if there was any variation from that schedule he very politely asked me what i'd like to do to fill the extra time. Not only was he a pleasure to work with but my guests truly enjoyed his actual dj skills. (I know this sounds simple, but he did not simply press play on a list that I generated, but he found the exact versions of songs I wanted, and even mixed one into the next if the song was rather long) This kept all guests on the dance floor the entire time, which just made for a GREAT party. For the cost, he was worth every single penny...and I might add his pricing is EXTREMELY reasonable. I'd recommend him to anyone who wants their wedding to be a night to remember for all their guests. It was truly a PERFECT party. Thank you AJ!

I had been to a wedding which AJ MC'd and when it came time for Don and I to choose a DJ service for our own wedding the answer was clear. We had a wedding with an eclectic group of people from all ages. AJ is charismatic, funny, outgoing, and can really get the crowd involved which was very important to us. It's hard to put on an event such as a wedding reception without some kinks and we had a few, but AJ helped make on the spot adjustments to our timeline of events so the evening flowed seemlessly for our guests. Everyone enjoyed themselves, especially the Bride and Groom! :) If you want a seasoned professional who knows their craft and will make your evening an everlasting memory then you need to call on AJ!

AJ was fantastic. The number of comments from guests about specifically how good our DJ was has been unbelievable. AJ certainly knows how to get a crowd going, we had a very lively dance floor, he started with the classics that everyone loves and progressed perfectly so that there was never a dull moment on the dance floor. Also, we needed a lapel mic for the pastor and he was able to accomodate with just a few hours notice. In addition, he even grabbed my wife and I a drink from the bar while we were taking pictures afte the ceremony with the photographer! BOOK AJ NOW! You will not regret it.

We were so pleased to get to work with AJ Smith, and were extremely happy with the quality of service and the amazing job he did DJing for us at our wedding! He was happy to work with our unique wedding reception timeline, and offered great suggestions about how he could help everything "flow" a little better. We had a "cocktail" style wedding reception, which is essentially a much less structured, more casual format for a wedding... but AJ made sure our guests always knew what was happening throughout the reception... he helped announce all the different stations we had, and politely reminded guests to visit our photo booth, cigar bar and thumb print tree. He did take song requests from our guests, but made sure to ask the groom or I before playing anything he thought we might not like. The music selection was perfect, and he did a fantastic job reading the crowd. He's very professional, curteous, listens to his clients, and for the impact he had on making our wedding such a success, he really is a great value. We wouldn't for a second think about hiring anyone else if we ever need a DJ again!
