October Honeymoon
My husband and I were referred by a friend to Stacia from Active Travel for planning our honeymoon. We had an idea of trying a Sandals resort, but neither of us had ever been and weren’t sure where we wanted to go, which resort would best fit our needs, what all was included, etc. so we decided to reach out. After our first call with Stacia we were extremely impressed. She took the time to to talk to us about what exactly we wanted out of our vacation and offered resort suggestions based on that, making sure our wants and desires were always at the forefront of our planning. She is extremely knowledgeable of the Sandals brand. Once we decided to book with Active Travel, we didn’t have to worry about anything. They helped us book flights, made sure we had plenty of time between connections, informed us of flight changes, and kept in contact the whole time. We were made aware of promotions and certain services we never would’ve known about without working with Active Travel.
We had the most amazing honeymoon and learned how to make the most of our trip through Stacia and Active Travel. We ended up going to Sandals Ochi in Jamaica and stayed in a butler level room, which was incredible. We knew what the butlers were able to do for us and how to get the best service because of Stacia. She stayed in contact leading up to the trip and even checked in to make sure everything was going well.
We most definitely will be using Active Travel for our future international travel as they have so much knowledge and having someone who is looking out for you while you’re traveling (watching your flights, giving you the best tips and advice, making sure you’re being treated well) is invaluable. -

Amazing Honeymoon to Sandals Royal Barbados

Excellent destination wedding!
Stacia helped plan our dream destination wedding in Punta Cana! We had a group of 25 guests that she helped book their rooms, arrange flight transfers and continued to support us throughout the trip. Stacia was present during all zoom meetings with the on-site wedding coordinator and gave great advice during the entire process. Our wedding turned out amazing and our guests had a blast! We will be booking our honeymoon and future adventures with her for sure! -

Amazing Honeymoon- easiest planned trip
Amanda from ActiveTravel was great to work with for planning our honeymoon! She always replied to us so quickly and was beyond helpful with rescheduling due to COVID. Once we rescheduled, we still had a lot to navigate with COVID and Amanda was beyond helpful with figuring out that mess! She helped us with scheduling our COVID test, made sure that we had all of the correct paperwork and ensured we had all of the correct flight times and transfers to and from the resort. We had a beautiful honeymoon and would not have changed a thing! We visited the beautiful Saint Lucia :)-

Dream Come True During a Pandemic
Stacia helped make our honeymoon a dream come true amidst a pandemic! When our original resort did not reopen in time, she reassured us and took care of EVERYTHING. She was even able to get us into a more expensive resort without paying extra. Stacia was very knowledgeable and also kept us up-to-date with any changes and how to fully be prepared as we navigated our travels during such a different time in our nation. We are SO grateful and will continue to use Active Travel for our future adventures.-

So easy to work with
Amanda has been so amazing to work with! We ended up having to postpone our wedding and thus delaying our honeymoon after it was already booked. Amanda worked with us to find the best dates/prices that worked for us. She continually checks in and let's me know if there's been any changes. We wouldn't have been able to plan a honeymoon during such an uncertain time without her help! I cannot recommend Active Travel and Amanda enough. -

Stacia has been outstanding! Traveling during COVID has been a struggle to say the least but she has been a fountain of useful information. Stacia's experience and service were above and beyond. When we had to delay our honeymoon not once but twice she helped without hesitation. When we wanted to try to move it again so we didn't have to wait a year, she was there to tell us the realistic situation, then helped us plan a different little getaway we called our "mini-moon". The customer service and security we felt while working with Stacia was wonderful. Highly recommended!!! -

Let someone else plan for you!
After rebooking our honeymoon on our own TWICE due to COVID travel restrictions, we took a recommendation and contacted Jean at Active Travel. This was our first experience using a travel agent, but now more than ever their help is so valuable. She knew all the travel restrictions, got a sense of what type of honeymoon we were looking for and our budget during a brief phone call, and by the end of the day she had found the perfect place! After being stressed out about so many things including the honeymoon due to COVID, this was so easy! And the resort she found us turned out to be a dream! Active Travel
We were in Montego Bay and I had checked my flight status twice the day we were leaving. Found out on my way to the airport that the flight had been cancelled. Called Jeannie from Active Travel who is my travel agent and by the time I got to the airport she had booked my wife and I another flight on another airlines. That same day when we had got home she had sent us a text showing us that she had gotten our refund back from the original carrier also. She is amazing, she is the best travel agent in the world. Magical Honeymoon!
Stacia
Stacia helped build our dream honeymoon at Disney World! She helped with everything from helping us book the perfect time to go to booking all of the fast passes we wanted! She made the stressful process of trying to book dinner reservations and booking fast passes into a breeze and booked all of it for us. She got all of the fast passes we wanted and took the time to call us and help us figure what all we wanted. She even kept an eye out for any discounts that were coming for our trip and helped us save money! Any questions we had she was ready to answer them and helped us all the way up until our trip and was willing to help with anything while we were on our trip as well! Amazing honeymoon
Jeannie was amazing with planning our honeymoon. She listened to what we wanted and was able to get us many free add ons! When we were at the resort we had a small issue with our room (on resorts end) and Jeannie handled it for us immediately. We can’t thank you enough for planning our dream honeymoon!! Great customer service!
They are great! We met Stacia at a bridal show I believe and we’re invited to their sandals night where we learned about the difference between the sandals resort over a small dinner with no pressure to book right there. We booked a few weeks later for ochi and the whole process was great! If we had any questions or wanted something like an excursion we just shot an email over and it was done that day or the next and we were always sent the confirmation codes and payments for everything. They are all very nice, great company and great customer service! I’ve already recommended them to many and plan to use them in the future! -

My wife and I booked another trip Jeannie @ Active Travel and again she stirred us to a great resort, Secrets Cap Cana. I like to do research as most people do, but to have a professional like Jeannie is priceless.
She did all the booking including getting seat assignments ahead of time and that turned out to be very important, as the flight was overbooked on the return flight.
To us, the advice, service and honesty that Jeannie gives us makes taking a trip stress free and isn't that the reason for taking a vacation trip.

Aruba honeymoon
Tara was amazing!!! My husband and I were very impressed with her helpfulness and responsiveness to any and all of our questions. Everything went perfect. We stayed at Riu Palace Antillas in Aruba.we stayed 5 days 4 nights. The place is huge, amazing food drinks and staff as well. -

Great experience
When booking our honeymoon, Jean and the staff at Active Travel were so welcoming and helpful. We attended a sandals night at their Hilliard location and were blown away by the hospitality, complete with a food buffet and champagne. We felt like we were already on vacation! Jean and others even shared pictures of their own trips and experiences to help use decide on the perfect resort for us. They are so knowledgable and experienced, plus they listened to what we wanted and genuinely wanted to help us find exactly what we were looking for. We had a wonderful experience and I would recommend their services, especially for honeymooners. -

Awesome travel agent!
Jean has been great in helping us plan our wedding moon to Sandals Montego Bay. Our trip is planned for May 2019. It’s been such an easy stress free process that 4 of my family members have also visited and booked thru her. My husband and I worked with Tara from Active Travel for our honeymoon to Sandals Emerald Bay in the Bahamas. We had both never traveled out of the country and were pretty clueless about how to plan our honeymoon. Active travel was there every step of the way and booked our flights and excursion. If you're doing a destination wedding, you NEED to talk to Tara. Tara at Active Travel made our dream wedding in the Dominican Republic happen! We really couldn't have done it without her. Active Travel made all of our guest arrangements and communicated with the resort to make sure it was a perfect day. The whole trip was fabulous and much less stressful due to Tara's help. She kept things running smooth and handled any problems in minutes. Tara was also able to make recommendations and help throughout our entire planning process. We just got back from our Honeymoon to Sandals LaSource, Grenada and it was absolutely PERFECT- thanks to Tara at Active Travel! We had absolutely the best time. We were at first unsure of where we wanted to go, so we spoke with Tara about our interests/honeymoon priorities, and we couldn't have chosen a better place! Neither of us work the typical "9-5" schedule, and Tara was very willing to work around our schedules and was quick to reply with any questions we had, even though most of the time I was texting her in the evening or occasionally on weekends. She was SO sweet and helpful- we left for our honeymoon the night of our wedding, and she did the airline check-ins for us to save us some time and stress! Words cannot describe how terrific our experience was with Active Travel and it was all thanks to Tara! A honeymoon, let alone to the Rviera Maya was not something we thought we could afford. We told Tara our budget and our interests and she found us an amazing deal WITH direct flights!! She was so awesome to talk with and was always available even when our schedule didn't fit the typical 9-5.
We were a little nervous with it being our first international trip and were suprised at how seamless the experience was. From leaving the airport to booking our excursions, everything was taken care of. I've recommended Tara to all of my engaged friends and we plan on using Active Travel for all our future vacations! -

She helped price out numerous options and gave us very helpful recommendations on resorts/islands. I was unsure about picking a travel agent, until I read all of the reviews about Active Travel. Our very first visit to Jeannie was amazing! We are not the "typical couple" looking for a honeymoon. We were very specific in what we wanted -- oceanfront, all inclusive, adults only, couples only and icy cold Coors Light. Yep -- that's a true story. we are known at active Travel as "the Coors Light couple". Do you know how difficult it is to have icy cold Coors Light available 24 hours/day outside of the US??? Jeannie made it happen. She was quick to respond to questions, is so knowlegable in her field, and my husband and I couldn't have been happier with the resort she recommended! Jeannie's service not only met, but exceeded our expectations! -

We love to travel but how do you know what is or isnt a good location or resort ect ? I'll tell you how; you know this from an experienced travel agent who can give you a first hand knowledge. We booked our travel arrangements including flight and an all-inclusive Sandals resort stay for our honeymoon to St. Lucia through Active Travel. From the very first time we met we felt very comfortable with Jeanie and the entire staff at Actice Travel. They gave us helpful and honest advice when deciding on where to stay and which type of room to pick. Since this was the first time for both of us to travel out of the country we were a bit nervous and had lots of questions. I had all my questions answered and my mind put to ease. Everything went very smoothly throughout the process from choosing a destination, to booking and then departing for our trip. We really appreciated all the help we received from Jeannie and Cara at Active Travel!! We used all their suggestions and it really paid off in the end. We hope to go back to Sandals Whitehouse again someday. After being pampered like that, any other vacation will pale in comparison! I used Active Travel for our honeymoon. We had a basic budget and Jeannie was able to find an exciting adventure for us within that budget. Jeannie had great recommendations for accommodations as well as the excursions to take while we were there!
The staff at Active Travel were always friendly, and I was so impressed when they delivered my travel papers the week of the wedding. That saved me so much time and relieved a lot of stress.

Jacque set everything up for us based on our discussion as to what our interests were. She gave us personal feedback from other couples and her own experiences and then offered several packages for us to chose from. We picked the Sandals Grande Rivera in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. We had a great stay and everything was as promised. Jacque also worked with our friends to surprise us with some excursions when we arrived to the resort. We will definitely use Jacque/Active Travel for future trips! -

We used Active Travel to plan our destination wedding/honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii. We have used them before for another vacation and have been very pleased with their services. Jean helped us plan our wedding in Maui. She has many local resources so planning was fairly simple. We had a few bumps in the road, none were the fault of the travel agency, but Jean helped us along the way. Our wedding day was magnificent. We stayed and were married on the beach at The Four Seasons, Maui. Our day was wonderful. We were able to have an amazing breakfast at the resort, hang out at the serenity pool, then I had my hair and makeup done in my room. Our photographer met us at the resort and the wedding officiant met us at the beach. We had dinner at The Four Seasons also. The day couldn't have been more perfect and best of all there wasn't any stress - just happy memories. -

She kept looking through websites and magazines until we found our perfect honeymoon spot, which wasn't really easy for her because we both had different ideas of what we were wanting. Jean told us EXACTLY what to expect when going through customs once we arrived in Jamicia. Her knowledge of the resort and accomodations were spot on. Jacque Miller is who my husband and I worked with. She was absolutely amazing. She went out of her way to help us. She was very informative and didn't get frustrated with us when we changed our travel plans 3 times. I would recommend her to anyone that wants to travel. Active Travel helped me plan the most amazing honeymoon! When I initially called, I didn't really know where we wanted to go or what we were looking for, other than a beautiful resort that wouldn't take a full travel day to get to. Jeanie spent a lot of time with me talking about options and ended up recommending a few resorts in the Carribean. My husband and I only had 6 days to work with, including travel time, and Jeanie recommended Sandals, Emerald Bay. She helped get us the perfect room, with butler service, and we had a wonderful time! All of our travel documents were sent to us timely and with all the information we needed. When we checked in at the airport, I noticed that the seats we were originally assigned to had been changed to seats closer to the front of the plane. This happened on all four of our flights. I found out later that Active Travel called the airline to ask them to move us up if possible. This was greatly appreciated!
Jeanie found us the perfect flights, getting us to the Bahamas by noon on Monday and having us leave at 5:30 on Saturday. We were able to enjoy the resort an extra half a day on each end of our trip!
I'll admit, I was nervous about booking a vacation at a Sandals. I've heard a number of negative things, including not being given the room that was paid for at booking. Jeanie and everyone I spoke with at Active Travel ensured me that the room I booked would be the room I was given. They were right! I also was concerned about transfers to and from the airport/resort. They told me not to worry. Again, they were right! Our trip went smoothly from start to finish. All our flights were on time, the transfers were waiting for us, and the resort was wonderful! We loved Sandals, Emerald Bay!
This was the second time I used Active Travel (they helped plan a trip to Las Vegas for my sister and I last year) and I will definitely use them the next time I travel. Jeanie and her staff have visited the resorts they recommend and I truly believe they give honest opinions about what to expect. Thanks to Jeanie and Active travel I had the perfect honeymoon!!!

Went looking for information, ended up with a planned destination wedding
My fiancée and I recommend Active Travel and Jean Gualtieri for anyone looking to plan, or gain more information regarding a destination wedding. After trying to plan our wedding myself for over a year I finally gave in and realized that I needed help planning my wedding, we found Active Travel from Sandal’s website and went in for information and walked out with a destination wedding planned. Jean and the whole staff was very friendly and helpful. I am glad that we went with Active Travel, they have reduced my amount of stress drastically.
