  Amazing wedding caricature artist

  We used About Faces to find a caricature artist for the cocktail hour of our wedding. We had an amazing artist! It was one of the highlights of our wedding and our guest were so pleased! About Faces communicated well and helped throughout the booking. Would recommend!

  We used these guys to find Kirk K, a caricature artist. He was amazing and it was such a fun addition to our wedding reception. It was a hit, they are easy to contact and plan with, and it was overall fantastic!!!!

  Chris V. came to our wedding and did a fantastic job! He was able to make caricatures for almost all of our guests and there was never a long line of people waiting. He was extremely fun and all of the pictures came out great. Everyone was talking about how he did a great job and how much they enjoyed talking with him. My husband and I loved our picture and thought that it was a great addition to the reception!

  I paid for two artist and unfortunately one was in a car accident the day before my wedding. I wish they had checked with their independent contractors the day before to avoid not having two artist. Our guests enjoyed Karen the artist that did come. It's unfortunate that we didn't get our caricature drawn because of the long line. They did refund the no show artists fee promptly and apologized for any inconvenience.

  My husband and I wanted something unique at our wedding reception. We chose a caricature artist to draw fun photos of our guests. As far as the pictures go, I was impressed with the quality and accuracy of the caricatures. However, the attitude of the artist was less than desired. It was a wedding, it should be a very happy occasion for all. I felt her attitude was sharp and uninviting. She did not introduce herself to myself or my husband or any other member of my family. We felt she was unfriendly and not personable. We realize that she was contracted for a certain time, but I feel that she did not try and fit as many people into that time frame as she could have. Because she doesn't have a profile on your website I was unable to see what her output was. We originally hired Jaki (who is out on sick leave) and was replaced by your company with Pat C. Jaki's profile advertised 30-40 black and white head only an hour, so we assumed Pat C. would be that or close to it. I believe it was more like 15-20 an hour. We were also unaware that people had to sign up in time slots to get a drawing done. As a bride and groom, we were so busy greeting our guests, that when we had time to get a drawing done we couldn't because we were not scheduled for it. I feel that is ridiculous. We are the ones paying for the artist! Thank goodness one my of bridesmaids gave up their time slot for us.

  Terrible! Very unprofessional!

  I booked a party with a charicature artist for 3 hours (to the tune of $555.00 through my party planner). During that time, only about 7-8 drawings were done and there were people in line for additional drawings. The artist did not know what the charges were for two more hours but I agreed and subsequently learned that during the drawing sessions with each party, significant time was taken for the artist to try to sell his own personal products to my party guests, and they were all shown a book to purchase.
