    I received endless compliments about the quality of food and the record setting speed the crew got all 260 of my guests through the buffet line.

    The team at ABC catering in Rockford was wonderful -especially Brian and Erin. Our food was terrific too. We had a bar service as well and the entire staff was fun and pleasant. Thank you for making our day amazing!

    So people say wedding food is not that great. They obviously did not have a wedding catered by ABC catering. We had pork tenderloin and 5 cheese lasagna, and everything was talking about how great their dinner was! The food was hot and ready to go right on time, and they made the lines move quickly, even with 275 guests. They worked with us and our budget from the beginning, especially as we changed it numerous times. We could not be happier with our catering choice.

    A very long overdue but heartfelt THANK YOU for the outstanding job. The food was absolutely wonderful, we received so many compliments on everything, but I would also like to say what an outstanding job the staff did at the event. Erin and her staff were there from start to finish and helped to make our day complete! When I arrived at the reception, your staff had everything well in hand and they were on the ball all night.

    I cannot say enough about this company! Their food is absolutely SUPERB & their service/staff is just as great! Our guests could not say enough about how delicious the food was. ABC Catering was GREAT with meeting with us & allowing us to try multiple samples. They even set up a sample table for our reception so that we could visualize it and make any changes necessary. They are so eager to help you & support you in making your day the best that it can be. I recommend them to everyone I know that is getting married! You won't be disappointed with ABC Catering!

    WOW!!! What more can we say!!! Food was out of this world...EVERYONE RAVED ABOUT THE MEAL!!! The Texas Pototoes were quite the hit and people wanted 3rds of the Beef Tips w/noodles...(not too much left over for the bride & groom to munch later :(

    This was a wonderful experience with ABC catering... they were so easy to work with and so very friendly.... A family owned company. The food was all that was expected and then some.     ABC did a fabulous job for our wedding. Erin was very flexible and very accomadating. They even helped us figure out the set up in the hall and helped us find out hall. The staff was great who served at our wedding everyone was nice and more than willing to help us with what we needed.There prices were great and i would recommend them. Thank you for everything abc!

    Larry and Linda the owners are FANTASTIC!!!!! Rave reviews on the food. Everyone loved and complimented on how delicious everything was! Bartenders were great and very personable. I would recommend them to anyone!

    ABC was great! They have an extensive menu and can do anything you need if they don't have what you have in mind. They offer a great buffet of 2 entrees, your choice of salad, potato, and vegetable for under $10 a person. This comes with dinner rolls and butter. They also offer a more elegant entree list if you want something a bit more fancy. We also had them do the appetizers-again lots of options here as well. They can provide basically everything that you would need-all the silver wear-table linens, setup, tear down, wine, beer, coffee and a soda fountain machine. We went with the full wait staff for our wedding of 300 (we had the wedding at his parents place) and no one from our party had to lift a finger. We wanted to make sure that our family and friends could just relax and have a great time dancing! They have a great website that is easy to maneuver with nice example pictures of how they can nicely decorate and dress up your buffet tables. If you need a quick answer, I would recommend calling them. Otherwise if you email them, it may take a day or two before they get a chance to get back to you. Also, children 3 and under are free, 4 to 11 year olds are half price. We were able to taste a couple different entrees before we decided what we wanted. We just let them know what we were interested in and picked it up, went home and just had to re heat it. We were completely happy with the food, the service and the friendliness of Larry and Linda. My best friend is using them for her wedding next year! If receptionist area is vacant, please announce yourself.

    ABC is a solid choice for caterers in Rockford. They have an extensive menu, personable staff and can accommodate your special requests with ease. They offer lots of dinner options from affordable buffets to gourmet plated meals. They are timely and professional. Food was tasty and we got lots of great comments afterward. They always called me back promptly and really paid attention to detail. Would definitely recommend to prospective couples.

    ABC Catering is definitely the best food for their price. Delicious, great service, quick to serve the wedding party and look out for their needs, easy to work with throughout the planning, no complaints. The only thing that was slightly unprofessional was after the minister prayed and DJ began announcing dinner, the caterer got up to give an introduction to the meal... which was just done. Didn't ruin anything, just kind of awkward.

    The food at my wedding was delicious!! Nothing too over-the-top-fancy...but great home-cooked midwest food. Everyone went crazy over the appetizers! They were able to make special accommodations for kid menu's and other food/allergy needs. Overall....YUM!

    They threatened to up-charge me when the final guest count was significantly lower than expected. Fortunately they did come through though and service at the wedding was good. I was too excited to eat much and my corseted dress wouldn't let me eat much, but the few bites of veggie lasagna I had were nothing but cheese. They did a good job with cleanup although they did lose the baker's cake stand when they cut up the cake.

    My mom and I initially met with Erin at ABC months prior to our reception. She was fabulous. Very helpful and able to help us customize our every need. She was great at responding to emails and changing things around. The day of the reception there were two younger staff members setting up- they were fabulous and informative. However, the night of the event I was a little taken back on the service. It started out fine, but then it became a bumpy road. I heard from many guests that the staff cut in line to get their own food while our guests were still getting food. We ordered our own desserts from a different place and apparently the staff had them out for guests for about 15-20 minutes until they started eating them and took them (still tons left) to the back for themselves to enjoy. My sister in law who was in the catering and event business for many years was appalled by not only by their lack of professionalism, but also their attire, apparently looked sloppy. I will say that the bartenders deserved every single cent of tips that they were given. They were fabulous- speedy, friendly, and all around, just great. I'm very disappointed because I wrote Erin two emails post event to discuss the lack of professionalism and I never received correspondence from her in response. I would say to probably try another caterer before this one. Although the pre-work was up to par, the event day is what matters most.
