Incredible people, better results

If you’re looking for a great wedding photographer, you’ve found it. Aaron and his team (Jim and Brian for our wedding and engagement sessions) were INCREDIBLE and true artists of their craft. Aaron is an awesome guy with a real down to earth and relaxed attitude, which makes him great to work with. But don’t let that mislead you, this guy is QUICK to catch moments easily missed. He has a ton of experience and creativity. He knew exactly where to be and what to do on our big day, and with how hectic weddings can be, I’m still amazed at how stress free he made his part ! He captured all of the essential and formal moments, and what we really loved was how they also caught all of the details that made our celebration unique. For example, our first date was at a music store, and when we told them about how we had the guitar we were playing on that date with us, they took it and used it as a prop for pictures of the rings ! They also have a way about them that brings out the best of you, they are fun, and every smile they capture is genuine as a result. Honestly, we could say so much more about these guys, but we have a ton of amazing pictures to go through together now, so we’ll leave off with a simple, THANK YOU AARON MITCHELL PHOTOGRAPHY !!

I have known Aaron for a few years from a previous job and even back then, I joked that he could photograph my wedding. When I got engaged, I knew I had to contact him and I’m so glad I did! Aaron was great to work with throughout the planning process- responsive, willing to meet whenever, and very knowledgeable. In the end, our photos turned out great- many people have complimented not only the photos but Aaron and Jim [2nd shooter for the day] themselves and how they blended in at the wedding, while getting great shots. It was so great to look through the photos [a million times, more or less…] and relive the day and also moments that I may have missed. I would definitely recommend Aaron to other couples looking for a photographer; his pricing is reasonable and what you get for the cost is phenomenal.

Aaron Mitchell Photography did a great job photographing our wedding and creating a beautiful wedding album for us. I loved that they were with us for the whole day, which was about 12 hours, rather than restricting us to a 6 or 8 hour window like some other companies I looked into. They were able to capture everything from hair and makeup at the salon to our getaway at the end of the night. They were all friendly and were great at working with all our family members and bridal party. They also listened to exactly what I wanted and made sure all the key shots of special groups of people were taken care of. The photographs they took out came out wonderful. They did a great mix of posed photos, detail photos, and candid shots, and they really captured the emotions of the day on our faces as well. I love looking through all our photos to relive the day. The prints I ordered from them were of excellent quality. I especially appreciate that they were willing to work very closely with me on my wedding album to make sure it came out perfect, which it did!

Del Rogers (Aaron's associate) did our wedding and reception, and he was fantastic. We really appreciated his friendliness with us and our guests; he fit right in among all our people. He knew where to be when, and he and Aaron really listened to our requests. The videos themselves are lovely. I couldn't recommend them highly enough

Aaron and Bryan are the absolute best! Prior to my wedding I was apprehensive about the entire concept of photographers, fearing the concept of clicking cameras in my face all day. People telling me to "pose here and smile there." Instead, Aaron and Brian made it a FUN experience. They are true professionals and, in addition to taking fantastic photographs, made everyone in our wedding party feel at ease throughout the day. Picture your best friends photographing your event...that is what it felt like throughout our wedding day. My wife and I cannot say enough good things about Aaron and Bryan and we highly recommend them!

Aaron, Bryan and Ashlee were great to have as our photographers for our wedding. They helped make the entire day go smoothly and relaxed (seriously they just felt like friends hanging around!). They knew when things had to be completed and we ended up with SOOO many wonderful photos! We loved having them at the wedding and we love the photos they took! It was a pleasure to work with Aaron and his team for a number of reasons. His straightforward approach of buying his Wedding services for an entire day (as opposed to the 6 or 8 hour limit most photographers place on clients) is a testimony of his dedication to you as the client. He and his photographers strike a nice balance of photographs between people and the inanimate objects of the event. (Twenty years down the road one will care less about the inanimate objects; pictures of the people will matter.) Aaron is not afraid of doing what is necessary to compose the photographs needed, but at the same time, he is sensitive to maintaining a low profile during the event so that he and his team are hardly noticeable. You will not be disappointed.

Aaron Mitchell Photography is amazing! They make you feel extremely comfortable. They make sure to ask you what types of photos you want them to take. If there's a specific photo that you want to recreate they will make it happen. They're fun and easy to be around which we found really important. The photos that they took for us were beautiful and I love that we get to have those for the rest of our lives! They made all of our guests feel comfortable too. I would recommend them to anyone! From the moment we met Aaron and Cheryl to discuss photography for our wedding, we were blown away by their professionalism, commitment and they offered us warm chocolate chip cookies :) Our photos are absolutely gorgeous, they Aaron, Cheryl and Bryan captured every moment of our day perfectly and so unobtrusively that we were blown away by the hundreds of photos we had from our ceremony, preparations and party because we barely even saw them!! Friends and family have commented on how beautiful our pictures are and what a great job they did and we couldn't agree more. Additionally, Cheryl really worked with me (bride) to help me find local beauty and hair services that I felt confident and comfortable with and she was always checking in just to see what else she could do to help!! I have been in many weddings but until mine with Aaron, Bryan & Cheryl I have not seen the dedication, care, and outstanding service from photographers before. They went way beyond what I expected, and would definitely recommend them to everyone. There photos were fantastic, and had great ideas for poses. Action shots, you'll def. get them with them. The three of them helped make our wedding fantastic, and a night we wont forget. They are so helpful with everything during the wedding not just photos.

I had met Aaron and Cheryl at my best friends wedding back in 2009 when they were doing the photography for her big day. They were both so personable and awesome that I told them that day, when I got married, I would only use them for my wedding. About a year later, I was able to give them the call that I was getting married, and in fact, they were the first vendor we booked. (Noteworthy here, they remembered me, my name, details from my best friends wedding - and seriously, how many people must they meet?)

On the day of my wedding, they showed up bright and early at the salon while I was getting my hair done and took some fun photos of me there. Cheryl went to my mother in laws house to get the guys getting ready while Aaron and Brian (a third shooter they brought along that day, for reasons I would later find out about involving an ER trip the night before) hopped in my car when I was finished and came back to the hotel with me to get shots of me and my girls getting ready. They stayed with us until the reception was over, taking pictures all along the way. Formals at the church and a nearby park, around the old historic hotel that we chose, and every detail in between were perfectly captured. They left nothing and no one out. I told my husband after I had seen the video of our wedding, that I didn't even notice Aaron taking pictures of me while I was walking down the aisle. I had been in/at some weddings where the photographers were VERY intrusive, and I don't know how Aaron, Cheryl and Brian did it, but they got some really awesome shots from our ceremony, and I had no idea they were even there! I think that's an important detail. You don't want your guests to miss your big moments, but you want to have them forever as well.

I cant say enough good things about Aaron Mitchell Photography. Definitely definitely definitely, you HAVE to book these two.

Aaron and Cheryl were the best additions to our wedding day! They were more accommodating that we could ever imagine. They were on punctual, friendly and professional in every facet of our day and the months leading up to it. Aaron and Cheryl were very informative on their packages and they're prices were reasonable.

The overall product was fantastic. The engagement session guest book was a quite hit at the reception. The beautiful prints included in the package were a better quality than anything I have seen. And the album revisions and product were absolutely outstanding. Even the CD of our proofs were presented professionally in a leather bound case!

Everything we could ask for (and forgot to ask for!) were provided by Aaron and Cheryl at Aaron Mitchell Photography. I would absolutely recommend them to any bride or family over ANY large photography company in the area.

I absolutely loved having Aaron Mitchell Photography, Aaron and Cheryl, as our wedding photographers. They were there from start to finish on our special day, captured every single part of our wedding and the photos all came out beautiful. A friend of mine had them as her photographers and suggested meeting with them. I left our first meeting knowing that I would be hiring them to be our photographers. Cheryl also helped me look for a make-up artist. I had waited until the last minute to find one and Cheryl contacted some people that they knew to help me out. We also had some members of the bridal party that had missed out on ordering pictures so they made the gallery available again for them to make sure they all got their pictures. I don't think I could have found anyone better to hire as our photographers. Aaron Mitchell is the best!!!

Aaron and Cheryl are absolutely fabulous. We couldn't have asked for better photographers! They were attentive to every little thing that was going on at the reception and I don't think they even sat down once the entire day! It's perfect that they are husband and wife because you get two different perspectives; one will take the picture head-on and the other will capture the photo from an angle. They work so well together. I would recommend them to ANYONE looking for laid-back, yet extremely professional photographers. We loved them!

I am thrilled with the photographs Aaron Mitchell Photography took on my wedding day. They captured the day beautifully! With Cheryl and Aaron working as a team they were able to provide me with two views of so many special moments - including awesome front and back shots of me walking down the isle with my parents! Well, where do I start? Everything from the first meeting, wedding day, and even communications afterwards has been excellent. This is a couple that truly LOVES what they do and it shows in the quality of their photos.

A couple of specific notes about each part:
1. First Meeting - We did it at their house and just take a look around at the amazing photos they have there. Also, the cookies they freshly baked were great!
2. The wedding - They asked us what WE wanted out of the pictures, such as what was most important, how much time to spend on each, and some area's we wanted to take pictures and at the same time adding great ideas!
3. Post Wedding - Needless to say the images they took where excellent! The online creator was simple to use and if we needed any assistance with it they were always there!

I married into a family of several life-long photography enthusiasts who have worked with the best wedding photographers in the world. We chose Aaron and Cheryl because of the quality of their work and how they treated us as clients. Our pictures and album turned out better than I ever could have imagined and more than got the stamp of approval of the photography buffs – I need to set up a check out system for our album because my mother-in-law wants to show it off so much!!

Aaron and Cheryl went far above and beyond the call of duty as our wedding photographers. From the first meeting, they made us feel very comfortable and confident in their abilities. I hate having my picture taken and they did an amazing job of alleviating my fears both before and during our wedding. They helped keep me calm through the entire day – not just taking pictures, but providing bobby pins for falling hair, pins for loose boutonnieres, carrying my train so it wouldn’t get dirty, and even cueing the wedding party for the processional when our coordinator was no where to be found. Because they were always ready for anything, pictures were a breeze even with a bridal party of 15. They blended so well into our reception that we sometimes forgot about them, but every time we looked to see if they were capturing a moment they were there. I love the candid shots that they got – it’s like reliving the day all over again and helps us see things that we missed!

It’s our pleasure to offer a strong recommendation for Aaron Mitchell Photography! Aaron and Cheryl did a fantastic job capturing the spirit and energy of our daughter’s wedding. They arrived early in the day and stayed with us until we turned out the lights! Two photographers working together all day ensured we would get all of the “must have” shots plus lots of candids and non-traditional pictures. The pictures from the day are beautiful, very creative and technically excellent. But, perhaps best of all was their casual, comfortable style which put all of us at ease. Both Cheryl and Aaron are fun and very approachable. They were more than willing to talk photography with us and share some “tips”. We are so grateful to have found Aaron Mitchell Photography. We met Aaron and Cheryl and fell in love with their personality! The photographs are wonderful, and together they were able to capture everything. There was a moment where my ring bearers were headed off toward the ceremony, and they both turned around to flash their smiles. I remember thinking, I hope there is a decent picture of that, and sure enough Cheryl captured the cutest picture of them! Much more than photographers, this wedding wasn't their first, and it showed with their calming presence. Aaron knew the bow to the lace up dress needed to be tucked in, and the men wouldn't have been able to fix their pocket squares and boutonneiers without Cheryl!

Aaron & Cheryl make a terrific team. They were recommended by our wedding planner, who had worked with them previously. It was great having two photographers to capture my daughter's wedding from all angles. They also did her engagement session, and we were so pleased with that as well. The pictures were fabulous, and they really captured the spirit of our event. They were extremely flexible, and very helpful when we had questions. They were always prompt: responding to email, at our initial meeting, the photo shoot, on the wedding day, and with delivery after the event. On top of all this, they are really nice people!

I could not have asked for better photographers than Cheryl and Aaron. Not only did they take incredible, beautiful pictures, but we had so much fun having them around. They were so down-to-earth and so willing to listen to exactly what we wanted, while giving us their opinions as well. Aaron and Cheryl are a fun and wonderful husband and wife team to have with you on your wedding day. From the first time we met them we knew they were right for our wedding. They understood what we were looking for in our wedding pictures. They have a way of capturing pictures with a warmth and familiarity that make you feel the emotion and feelings in the picture come to life. They take great care and pride in their work and they love what they do. Working with Aaron and Cheryl it felt like we just hanging out with family and friends. That's what makes the difference. It was such a joy to work with them and I know they will be our photographers for many of life's moments and help capture many more joys in our life as our family grows over the years. They were the perfect fit for us and if you meet them you will soon know why! They captured every angle of our Modern Traditional Wedding and did it while having smiles on their faces. I love how they got so many creative shots without us having to pose for many of them. It made the picture taking part of our wedding effortless.

Aaron and Cheryl are simply amazing-- when our wedding plans fell through for June in Pennsylvania, they were incredibly flexible and understanding in switching to July in upstate New York! Even though the pair had a heck of a journey coming up to us (sooo many hours in the car, complete with accidents--not theirs, thankfully!), they were excited, happy, and wonderfully fun early the next morning for pictures while we were getting ready.
Our pictures were everything we wanted and more (Aaron even got soaked past his knees getting in the lake for the perfect shot). I can't recommend these two more highly-- having both of them made sure that not a moment was lost throughout the day, and their two perspectives made the set of pictures very visually complete.
Aaron and Cheryl truly became our friends through this process, and I wouldn't trade working with them for anything.

As a recent bride I know that so much effort and planning goes into this one special day but when all is said and done, the dress is worn, the cake is cut, and your wedding song is over-played, all you have left to look back on are the photos!

Aaron and Cheryl have everything you could posisbly want from your wedding photographers. They are fun and excited about your wedding. They fit in with the crowd as if they are guests, all the while managing to make everyone feel comfortable being photographed and getting every moment that you would want to remember from your wedding day. They are so easy to work with, accomodating every request. It is evident that they love what they do. The fact that they are a husband and wife team allows them to be in so many places at once, anticipating the shots that the other will be getting. It's not like having a photographer with an assistant, but having two photographers, each with a slightly different perspective, but one unique vision. They took all the posed formal shots we asked for, but after that, it almost seemed as if they weren't there. They never once interrupted our day to ask us to "smile for the camera". Instead, we still have all of the moments you expect captured on camera, but in a real, not posed, moment. When I look at our photos, I can relive the moments, because the emotion captured is so real. Highly recommended is a drastic understatement for this incredible photography duo. Book them, you won't be disappointed.

Cheryl and Aaron were a pleasure to work with! My entire wedding party immediately felt comfortable working with them. They work hard and go above and beyond. At my beach wedding, Aaron was literally in the ocean to get the best shots. We promptly received the photos after the event, and they were amazing! Friends and family who used another photographer are jealous! And, they're a ton of fun!

What a plus to have 2 photographers working together! What is more, Cheryl and Aaron are such comfortable people, that we felt like we were working with family. Our agenda was their agenda, and there was none of the slick or tempermental behavior that I have seen in other wedding photographers.

Aaron and Cheryl were the photographers for our wedding this past June, and my husband and I could honestly not be happier with our photos. This husband and wife team completely have their act together and work so incredibly hard to make your special day perfect. Somehow, they were able to capture all of the events that took place that day (including my husband's Michael Jackson dance). These two photographers have an amazing talent for capturing priceless memories on film, and they go out of their way to do exactly what you ask of them. If you're looking for fun, talented, and easy to work with photographers, you would simply be
silly to get any other photographers for your special day. These two truly are the absolute best of the best.

Aaron and Cheryl were the perfect people to document our wedding. They are a husband and wife team and truly work together as a team. They catered to my husband and I and made sure we got every shot we wanted. They were professional yet personable and made taking pictures fun. They captured all our special moments and more, yet at the same time were not in our faces and let us truly enjoy our night. Their prices were incredibly reasonable and we loved that they were with us all day, every step of the way. They got the proofs, dvd and album to us in a timely fashion and the end result was beautiful!!! This wonderful married photography team of Aaron and Cheryl far surpassed our expectations for our daughters wedding photos. They arrived at our home with the same excitment we all were feeling.Both of them were caught up in the magic of the day as if it were their own child getting married. I think because they are parents themselves, of young children, they imagine their daughters day and I'm sure they tuck away some of the special ideas each bride gives to her day for when it's their turn. They worked very well with everyone all day. The only time we were aware of them taking pictures was during the formal ones and the special ones we had asked for. Yet when we looked back at all the pictures --- They had been EVERYWHERE !!!! They did not miss a trick and the sentimental details my daughter and I had planned throughout the service and reception were also beautifully captured in our photo's. We loved the idea that they showed up in the morning and did not leave the wedding party until it was over, late that night!! That was amazing because they were able to grab all those rich moments of the day that I wanted to see with my own eyes and not through my camera. We trusted Aaron and Cheryl to record our daughters marriage, to the man of her dreams, that she had waited a long time for. This was a very emotionally packed day and they DID IT in style. We would recommend this kind, compassionate, fun-loving and very professional team to anyone and everyone who wants their family history recorded in a most beautiful fashion. Thank You so much Aaron and Cheryl. Our memories of that day overflow because of you. :)

Aaron and Cheryl were so great to work with. My wife and myself both enjoyed having them do our wedding photos. Not only did we enjoy them, but the rest of our guest enjoyed them to. The photos came out perfect, we could not ask for anything better. We both recommend them to anyone who needs a photographer, no matter the occasion. Aaron and Cheryl were absolutely wonderful. When things didn't exactly go as planned, they were flexible and professional and just rolled with it. The photos were absolutely beautiful. Aaron gave great direction on what to do (it's hard knowing how to pose if someone doesn't tell you) and I don't think there's a bad photo in the whole set. They were incredibly friendly and really fun people to be around. It's great to work with a couple who loves each other so much. It really added to our happiness that day.

Aaron and Cheryl were absolutely fantastic. They were incredibly professional, yet casual enough that we were completely comfortable with them from the start. They were very flexible to do what we wanted and fit the photos comfortably into the flow of the wedding and didn't prevent us from enjoying the day.

They did an amazing job preparing the mock-up of our album, and did it very quickly- we had the first draft 4-6 weeks after the wedding, and they were very responsive to changes we wanted, always having a new mock-up completed within a few days. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Cheryl and Aaron from Aaron Mitchell Photography are responsible for not only our perfect wedding photos but also my beautiful engagement shots. I have never met a more creative and fun loving couple.
We were so comfortable and had so much fun working with them and I think that really shows in their work! You can see in every one of our photos that we're not just posing for a camera we're actually having fun.
I enjoyed them so much I am going back for a maternity session as well!

Our wedding photos are nothing short of fantastic. The angles, clarity and natural look of the photos are amazing. Nothing looked staged. Everyone who looks at our wedding album asks us who took the photos. Aaron and Cheryl blended right in with the entire wedding celebration. I absolutely loved working with Aaron! He had such a calming presence, he met with us twice before the big day to go over all the shots we wanted and to go over all the lists of VIPs for the formal, family pictures. We got our shots back this week and LOVED every one of them - we also had a bunch of guests reach out saying they loved our photography team as well.

Some neat pros of working with Aaron is that each bridal party member gets a print of their own, and all guests who sign up can see all the proofs from the event and order their own if they want.

He and his assistant were also amazing the day of - they even helped wrap up my bouquet with our family heirloom after we struggled with it for a bit, and his assistant helped my mom secure my veil. I cannot recommend Aaron and his team enough.

Aaron Mirchell Photography did a great job photographing my wedding! They did a great job handling our large bridal party and had great suggestions for poses. During the reception we didn't even know that they were there, which is a good thing! All the pictures turned out great. All in all in was a great experience working with them.

I would highly recommend Aaron and Cheryl to anyone looking to hire a team of talented photographers. After researching dozens of vendors on The Knot and interviewing four of our favorites, my husband and I chose Aaron Mitchell Photography for three main reasons. In addition to being personable and easy-going, they responded promptly to e-mails and were willing to create a wedding package that suited our needs. (For instance, we opted to forego the guest book that usually comes with the engagement session.) We also appreciated their flexibility. Since my husband and I were living in different states prior to getting married, the only time we could schedule an engagement session was around Christmas. Although Aaron and Cheryl normally take off during the holidays, they made an exception for us. What is more, when a relative passed away unexpectedly, they did the photo shoot early, despite the short notice and blustery weather.

On the day of the wedding, Aaron and Cheryl arrived promptly for getting-ready photos. During the formal shots, they consulted a list of family groupings that I had sent them and made sure to capture all the desired combinations.

Ten days after the wedding, Aaron and Cheryl had posted a preview album on Facebook, and, two days later, the online gallery became available for family and friends to peruse. Within a month, the first album design was e-mailed for our approval. The host website was user friendly, although occasionally the page needed to be refreshed in order for us to leave comments in the proofing section. After several rounds of revisions, we submitted the final version, and we received the album in the mail six weeks later, just as Aaron and Cheryl had promised.

Overall, Aaron and Cheryl are wonderful people and they genuinely care about their clients. Although their services were a bit pricey (even with a generous 15% military discount), we are glad to have hired such talented and caring photographers.

While definitely not the cheapest photographers we considered, they were certainly one of the best. Aaron and Cheryl will do almost anything to ensure your wedding day is a success! We live across the country from them and they made it very easy to get in touch and plan from afar! They answered any e-mail within 24 hours and were always very professional. One our wedding day, our bridal party could not stop talking about how much they loved our photographers and how their personalities made them a joy to be around. There were a couple pictures I would have like to have gotten that I didn't get, but overall I am thrilled with the pictures! Most of our pictures ended up being formal pictures, so if you're interested in more spontaneous pictures from the reception, I'd just make sure to ask for them and Aaron and Cheryl will be quick to adjust!

Aaron and his team were great to work with - low-key but professional, flexible and willing to do whatever we wanted and needed. They traveled to NYC for our engagement photos and did a fantastic job at the wedding, with a team of 3 spending nearly 12 hours with us throughout the day. Their team was a joy to work with, and we'd recommend them to anyone.

Aaron and Cheryl did a great job of unobtrusively, yet thoroughly capturing our wedding. My husband and I were very picky about our album, but they were very patient and flexible and our albums were beautiful.
