  Say YES to 30 West!

  Having an awesome DJ for your wedding really makes or breaks your reception and MAN did Mike with 30 West make our reception! It was the party we wanted for our wedding reception!
  Mike was so easy to work with leading up to our wedding day and our other vendors commented how wonderful he was to work with as well. Our dance floor was never empty and played all the right songs. We enjoyed all of the detail that Mike put into our day, including providing us with a song list for our reception that we could go through and give our opinion! AND don't forget to add in the phot booth option! It was such a hit and gave our guests something to do all night long if the dance floor wasn't their thing! Gordon was a great photo booth attendant and won over the hearts of a few of our guests.

  Fun and easy to work with

  I found 30 west from some people I work with and we knew from day 1 of meeting Mike that we would be going with them. They are easy to work with, met with us multiple times to help plan and make sure we were comfortable and all of our guest had a great time at our wedding. Their photobooth was well worth the extra money and all of our guest LOVED it!!

  Best All-Around DJ

  I truly believe we could not have found a more perfect DJ for our wedding than Mike of 30 West! Mike has a genuine, fun, warm personality, and since our initial Zoom conversation, we knew he’d be a wonderful presence at our wedding. He was very communicative and helpful throughout the planning process. He was also easygoing about our (obscure) playlist requests and offered great suggestions (he recommended an instrumental mix for dinner that was perfect for ambiance). After the wedding, guests told me that they thought our DJ was phenomenal! I especially appreciate Mike for being supportive, understanding, and kind when we had to share with him, a week before the wedding, that we had experienced a family health emergency that would impact some of our plans. I read reviews meticulously before booking vendors, so I hope this helps you if you are in the research stage: my husband and I really could not recommend DJ Mike and 30 West more highly.

  Wedding 6/19/21

  Dj Matt was a key component to our wedding. Matt was prompt, responsive, answered all our questions, and was an amazing DJ. We had a dancing crowd and he really made the party keep going! All of our music was played correctly and perfectly on cue. Thank you DJ Matt!

  Amazing all around!

  Mike was the perfect DJ at our wedding last week! He was energetic and read the crowd perfectly. Mike was easy to get in touch with and was accommodating to our postponements. We would recommend him and his team for your next wedding or event!

  DJ Mike kept the wedding dance floor full and fun all evening!

  We selected 30 West Entertainment to be our wedding entertainment and DJ Mike was a key component to making our wedding day unforgettable! Prior to the wedding, we had several meetings with DJ Mike to prepare song lists, intro songs, lighting set-up and all of the other entertainment details. My wife and I even asked him if he wouldn’t mind video recording a few of the ceremony & reception events, which he said he could do. The end product videos were excellent and exactly what we were aiming for. It wasn’t anything fancy (according to DJ Mike), but it captured the moment and was 1000x better than a shaky iPhone video! About an hour before the outside wedding ceremony was supposed to begin, the weather decided to hail and rain for a brief moment. I gained so much respect for him for gathering all of his equipment in the hail/rain and then setting up his equipment in the celebration tent at a moment’s notice. His flexibility, calmness under pressure, and professionalism all shone in those moments. He was spot on with the song lists for the ceremony, dinner, and dancing, and he had such an attention to detail and truly wanted to deliver what my wife and I wanted throughout the night. Unfortunately, when he announced that it was the closing song for the wedding reception, the audience did boo him (sorry Mike!), but it was all in good fun and it was simply a result of everyone having a good time and not wanting the music and party to stop. DJ Mike kept the dance floor full the whole evening and did such a wonderful job!

  Highly recommend

  10/10 would recommend 30 West Entertainment. They were so flexible when we postponed our wedding. We worked with Mike and he always followed up in a timely manner and we had very productive meetings before the wedding. He was able to piece together multiple songs for the father daughter dance and the playlist he put together had the dance floor crowded all night. Overall amazing customer service and great company.

  Great planning and kept people dancing

  Mike from 30 West Entertainment was great! He was so easy to work with and so thorough in the planning process. Had a timeline made up and everything seemed to go smoothly. Had a great mix of music that kept people dancing all night! The addition of a photobooth in our package was also great! It gave our guests something else to do and we have another thing to look back on to remember the night! Would defiently reccomend Mike or his team to anyone still looking for a DJ.

  30 west Entertainment and DJ Kless helped make our day perfect! Everything was exactly how we imagined and DJ Kless made everything we talked about prior to wedding happen.   Tim was absolutely amazing! He was very professional and responsive from the time we first made contact to hire him as our wedding DJ. He did an amazing job throughout the entire day and the dance floor was packed all evening which was really important to us! We would highly recommend Tim and 30 West Productions to anyone looking for a quality DJ!!

  Awesome DJ and photobooth

  DJ Mike was an amazing vendor to work with, he made the process of selecting songs and going through the timeline super easy. He also played great music and had very good energy throughout the entire night. I really loved how the bride and groom receive a USB with all of the photos from the photobooth as well.

Working with Mike felt more like making arrangements with a friend than it did coordinating with a hired vendor. My wife and I have eclectic musical tastes and asked a lot of him -- basically, play amazing songs from every genre of music from every era from from 50s to today! -- and he never flinched. He took in everything we asked (as confusing as it was) and worked up a playlist as a starting point, we added some things and together we came up with a collection of songs that received plenty of praise from our guests and had the dance floor busy all night. Mike handled hosting duties and announcements like the pro that he is, and he made adjustments on the fly without a problem -- like when we threw him a curveball by asking him to re-do our first dance halfway through the reception (long story). Thanks, Mike and 30 West!

  If there was one part of my wedding that I was super picky on- it was the music. I have very strong opinions on a lot of music, and was a little nervous that my vision would not become a reality. I had absolutely nothing to worry about with 30 West :) Tim took SUCH good care of us, and made our whole wedding incredibly perfect. He was fun to be around, did a fantastic job at keeping the dance floor full, and kept the reception moving seamlessly. We gave Tim a ton of notes and criteria before the wedding, and he never complained once or made it feel like we were asking too much. He took care of absolutely everything we asked, and went above and beyond. If you want a fun reception without any stress- hire 30 West :)

To me, choosing a DJ was one of the most important decisions since the DJ sets the tone for the whole event, and keeps the party going. After seeing him do my Maid of Honors wedding, I knew I needed him to do mine! Mike was so easy to work with and made the whole process personal and fun! He was super responsive to any of my questions, and more than accommodating to last minute changes and special requests. The day of the wedding he made sure we stayed as close to the timeline as possible, and when we fell behind a bit, he was right there to suggest how to get back on track. I have had so many people text me/tell me in person how much they LOVED our DJ. I personally have never seen a dance floor so consistently packed with people song after song. The music selections were perfect, and he definitely kept the party going! Everyone had a blast and we enjoyed getting to dance the night away! We could not have been happier with our choice. He helped us create custom playlists for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner service and dance party that were exactly what we had in mind. It was absolutely perfect!   Working with Kyle from 30 West Entertainment was one of the best decisions we made about our wedding. From our first meeting it was clear that Kyle really understood what we wanted and helped us not only select great songs, but design a flow for our reception that allowed everyone to have an incredible time.
  
  We ended up having 3 meetings with Kyle, and he ended up coming to our rehearsal so that we could make sure he was all set. We were thrilled that he was willing to take so much time to prepare for our event and make the day perfect.
  
  We threw some curve balls at Kyle - some of our family is from Mexico, so we wanted to include some merengue, cumbia, and banda music mixed into a more mainstream dance set. We’ve been to other events where the DJ hasn’t done a good job of transitioning between different genres of music like these. Not Kyle - he knocked it out of the park, and our family and friends were dancing non-stop.
  
  We’re also big karaoke fans, and Kyle was able to work in karaoke for our friends towards the end of the night. It ended up being perfect, and we even got to dance as husband and wife as our friends serenaded us.

  Our experience with 30 West Entertainment was seamless from start to finish. Kyle responded quickly to any questions or needs that popped up last minute. We gave Kyle vague instructions on what we were looking for and the feel of the evening that we were trying to achieve and allowed him to run with it. He executed this perfectly. I would highly recommend 30 West Entertainment for anyone looking for a DJ!

We gave Kyle vague instructions on what we were looking for and the feel of the evening that we were trying to achieve and allowed him to run with it. He executed this perfectly. I would highly recommend 30 West Entertainment for anyone looking for a DJ!

  We had so much fun working with 30 West Entertainment. Our DJ took the time to meet with us twice, and gave us a complete draft play list to edit before the wedding. The music was so perfectly planned, and we had multiple guests asking for the play list long after the wedding. Our DJ was professional, the sound for the speeches was clear, and he was great reading the room for social ques. We are still talking about how much fun we had dancing, the music was definitely a highlight of our night. Thank you 30 West Entertainment!

  Tim Mercandetti was an amazing DJ! He always kept my husband and I in the loop about what would be going on next! He also kept the party going, our family and friends all loved him! He was super easy to work with as well, anything we wanted he would make sure we had! I would highly recommend Tim to anyone who needs a DJ!   Matt was the DJ for our wedding on Saturday and I can't thank him enough for providing an enjoyable time for all. He was accommodating to my picky request for walking down the aisle and was sure to play the version of the song that I wanted. He even took the time to coordinate with the venue so they knew the exact moment in the song I wanted my grand entrance to be. My cousin did acoustic guitar for the cocktail hour and Matt went out of his way to be sure my cousin had all the equipment that he needed for the day of. For the reception I knew I could count on Matt to provide entertainment for every one of our guests. He was readily available for anything me or my guests needed/requested. The dance floor was packed the entire night and we all danced the night away! Thank you so much Matt!

  Tim Mercandetti was AWESOME! I am one who believes the DJ can really make or break your reception and Tim def made ours. Not only was the music great and kept people dancing, his comments were quick but important and you could tell he didn't try to make himself the star of the night - he knew his goal was to keep people dancing and have a great time. We got married on NYE and Tim and the hotel (Lancaster Marriott which was excellent btw!) worked on making sure we could watch ABC with Ryan Seacrest hosting the ball drop in NYC at midnight and then we got right back into the party. Since the groom was a big WWE fan, Tim went to extra lengths to put together a montage of WWE entrance videos (as requested by the bridge and groom) for the wedding party to come into which was a big hit. Our pre event meeting was great and he worked with our schedule - he was always available if we needed him and he was a great asset to our event. Multiple wedding guests commented to us how great of a job the DJ was doing - not something you always hear. Bravo to Tim and 30 West - we highly recommend them for your event.
