A Pivotal Pick

2941 Restaurant was our wedding venue and I could not recommend them more strongly. They were the perfect choice - let me count the ways:

- The food! Delicious. Truly the same quality as any night out at a high-end restaurant. For goodness sake they asked each person who ordered one how they wanted their steak cooked. Everyone raved about it (especially the passed apps!) - my best friend said it was the best food he’d had at ANY event and he hadn’t even known it was possible for food to be that good at a large function.

- The service. The kind of dinner service you don’t even get at most nice restaurants. The room was fully prepped on time. Each course was served to all 115 guests almost simultaneously. The waiters were gracious and attentive. The coffee was served with steamed milk. They were also conscientious and accommodating about dietary restrictions (double checking about possible allergies, asking if the vegan guest wanted sorbet).

- The coordination. Ivana was our venue coordinator and it was a delight to work with her. Throughout prep she always answered questions quickly and clearly. The flat-fee structure for the venue rental also meant we never felt nickled & dimed. 2941 also has an efficient process locked down from decades of experience.

- Convenience: by booking 2941 I had the venue, ceremony location, banquet furniture, china, crystal, linens, dance floor, food, drinks, and dessert solved - huge simplification!

- Cost-effectiveness: The place is already so beautiful I barely had any decorating costs. The fee for everything listed above was sooo reasonable (and the convenience easily made up for any premium), and the food tasted so much more expensive than it was.

My wedding was pretty much perfect and choosing 2941 Restaurant was a big part of that.

Gorgeous venue and exceptional food!

We are so happy that we went with 2941 Restaurant for our venue (for both the ceremony and reception). The venue is SO beautiful and the food was AMAZING! So many of our guests said that this was the best wedding that they ever went to and a large part of that is due to 2941. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the main dining room (overlooking the trees and lake) look so lovely - so much so that we didn’t feel the need to spend too much money on huge table centerpieces. The outside area is beautiful for photos, with a few waterfalls, ponds and a large lake. The event staff was wonderful and everything went smoothly and according to our timeline. Over the course of the year leading up to our wedding day, Michelle accommodated all of our needs as we prepared for the wedding (and even very last-minute changes) and was so helpful. On the actual wedding day, Sam made sure that everything was perfect. The food was so delicious and the presentation for all of it was so beautiful - so much nicer than what we would have had with a regular caterer. We cannot recommend 2941 enough!

Truly the perfect venue!

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding! The entire team was incredible, but a special shoutout goes to the floor manager, who was unbelievably attentive. From making sure our glasses were never empty to helping us pivot the ceremony setup last-minute so guests wouldn’t be stuck in the summer sun—everything was handled quickly, calmly, and with care.
The service was seamless; no one was ever waiting long for a drink, and our guests were genuinely impressed. The food was absolutely delicious, and they went above and beyond to accommodate a food allergy, preparing everything safely and separately without any issues.
It was a beautiful, stress-free night thanks to their professionalism and attention to detail. We’re so grateful to have celebrated here

Incredible venue!!

I just had my wedding here last weekend and it was even better than I could have imagined! First, with the venue, honestly it speaks for itself. It is a perfect spot tucked away almost feels like you're in a forest, and yet you are in a very convienetly located spot in Falls Church, where Ubers and hotels are aplenty! The art on the walls, the landscaping, the little water features, just every part takes your breath away. Elegant yet forest-y, exactly what we were looking for! Next, the food, oh my gosh it was completely to die for. So many people have shared with me how it had to have been the best food they'd had at a wedding. It was so intentionally beautiful from the "wedding bouquet salad" and also extremely tasty! Then, the staff, I was blown away. Michelle was in touch with us the whole time from the day we booked, about a year out. She was extremely clear and concise with expectations and contracts. She was kind, helpful and flexible when we needed it. The day of the wedding, the servers were very professional and helpful, always making sure we (the bride and groom) were well fed and had a drink! Sam was the manager on duty and he was very helpful making sure everything ran smooth and we had everything we needed! I was completely blown away with just how perfect this spot was, we received so many compliments. I felt like this was absolutely the best bang for our buck, we looked at many barns for the rustic look and the price was basically the same, so why not spend the same money for incredible food, an elegant location and non comparable people and service. Highly highly highly recommend :)

Amazing all in one venue

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at 2941 restaurant and loved it! The fact that we didn’t have to rent another place for the ceremony and then for the reception is a huge plus. They have gorgeous view with waterfalls and coy pond and an outdoor patio. Rental part of the venue was very reasonable and food/wine/service amazing. Everyone loved it, we are still getting compliments about the wedding. Managers are super responsive and accommodating, helping us to plan every details and keeping in mind dietary preferences all the way through the reception. Managers on duty Sam was very attentive and made sure to have everything served on time and in best shape. We already went back for an after wedding dinner with my new husband and loved it. Definitely will be back for special occasions. Highly recommend this venue for your wedding! Best memories!

Perfection!

My daughter's wedding ceremony and reception at 2941 Restaurant was phenomenal! The food was gourmet level in both flavor and presentation - absolutely mouth watering! The service was impeccable-the staff were attentive, professional, went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly - all with a smile on their faces. Michelle Marquez, the event director was phenomenal as well - she is responsive, kind, and professional. Her attention to detail was amazing and she had answers and options for all of our requests. She made the entire planning process such a delight! The atmosphere for both the ceremony and reception was magical - we couldn't have asked for a better venue to celebrate this special occasion. I highly, highly recommend 2941 Restaurant for your wedding!

Wonderful Experience! Beautiful Wedding!

We had an incredible experience here.

Michelle is wonderful to work with - very patient and knowledgeable about everything. To say the day was perfect would be an understatement. The food was fantastic and the wedding cake was more than I expected. I was actually worried about that part since it was done at the restaurant but everyone came up to us and complimented the food AND cake. They mentioned that it was one of the best cakes they’d had. It was decorated as requested as well. The top was packed up for us as tradition too. In addition, leftover food and unopened wine bottles to bring home were packed and guests also had their leftovers packed to take home. A very nice touch.

We had the ceremony and reception in the same room and the turnaround was seamless. Quite honestly, cost wise it was also very reasonable compared to other vendors in Northern VA. We had an early afternoon wedding and many guests moved over to the bar afterwards, since it ended at 4pm. They enjoyed being able to ‘move the festivities’ over while the groom and I were packing up our goodies to take to the car.

It was a combination of the big things, great communication, an amazing wait staff (I do mean amazing), and little details that all went into a wonderful day. You won’t regret choosing the vendor for your wedding.

Beautiful place

We recently hosted our wedding reception at 2941, and we couldn't be happier with our choice! From the very beginning, the team was incredibly accommodating, making sure every detail was tailored to our needs. Their prompt responses to our inquiries made the planning process smooth and stress-free.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning! With its beautiful decor provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. The menu offered a delightful selection, and everything we tasted was delicious.

The professionalism of the staff truly stood out. They were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran seamlessly. Michelle was wonderful from the very beginning and Sam did a great job ensuring our night ran smoothly. Sebastian and Keyla were outstanding with their drinks at the bar.

2941 it THE place to hold a wedding ceremony and/or reception. The restaurant and property are absolutely breathtaking! The service beyond exceptional! The food delicious! Working with Michelle the absolute best!

I got so, so many compliments from the guests about what a great time everyone had. If I had to do it again, I wouldn’t think twice about using 2941 Restaurant!

An Absolutely Gorgeous Wedding Venue!

We couldn't have asked for a more stunning wedding venue than 2941! It's such a rare find, with its breathtaking indoor and outdoor spaces, complete with waterfalls and koi ponds that create an enchanting atmosphere.
The dance floor was a great addition, giving everyone a space to celebrate.

A huge thank you to Michelle Marquez for her incredible support throughout the entire planning process. She provided us with all the information we needed and connected us with amazing vendors like our minister Jeffrey Maszal and Nesh photography, making our wedding celebration truly seamless. Sam and the entire restaurant team were outstanding—true professionals every step of the way.
Chef Bertrand Chemel's culinary skills truly elevated our special day. Our guests were absolutely delighted with the hors d'oeuvres, in addition to excellent wines and cocktails.

We are so grateful to the whole team for making our wedding day unforgettable! We highly recommend 2941 to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue.

Amazing Restaurant!

My husband and I decided to have a very small intimate wedding. 2941 was the best place we found. Not only do they have multiple rooms to host events, they were very accommodating and affordable. The food was amazing and they were able to make our cake and order centerpieces as well. It was better than I could have imagined.

Perfect if you're looking for venue with beautiful outdoor and indoor spaces

We're so glad we chose 2941 as our wedding venue. We liked that the venue is beautiful, serves great food, and can accommodate small weddings as well as big ones. Ours was small with 41 guests, and the Koi room was perfect for the gathering. I also appreciated that the restaurant offers vegan dishes and hors d'oeuvres, which can be hard to find. The terrace was beautiful for our outdoor ceremony, and our photographers were able to get a lot of great shots with the natural beauty of the area in the background. Michelle Marquez, the Director of Special Events, is also a pleasure to work with. She's very warm and personable. Choosing the right venue is a critical decision, and we definitely chose the perfect one for us.

Absolutely perfect

We loved everything about 2941. Working with Michelle was an absolute dream. She is super experienced and understands her space very well. The list of recommended vendors was a huge help. We loved the vendors we used from the list - particularly, 2941’s floral partner, Twinbrook. It definitely made things easier to have vendors who regularly work together and are extremely familiar with the space - not to mention, the floral design was top notch.
Michelle is so easy to work with. Super responsive and very helpful. She worked with us to create a beautiful space to fit our very large (almost max capacity) wedding and mediated a few layout disagreements between the bride and groom. She is simply excellent at her job - a true professional.

Simply stated, we loved 2941 and are so glad we chose it for our wedding. All of our guests were truly complimentary of the venue, the space, and of course - the food.
As expected, 2941 excels at food. We had a variety of dietary restrictions to accommodate including a few uncommon allergies (the bride) who is allergic to carrots and parsley, among other items. They made special meals and appetizers for the bride, and the guests, including providing gluten-free and vegan desserts in lieu of wedding cake and incorporating the bride’s love of popcorn for the cocktail hour. One vegan guest remarked that her meal was the best vegan meal she has ever had! We were so pleased that our guests were happy and many have dined at the restaurant after our wedding because they enjoyed the experience so much.

Truly, we could not have been more pleased with how everything turned out. I wish we could do it again because we had such a blast!

Excellent venue, beautiful location

2941 was the perfect venue for our December wedding. Michelle was wonderful to work with leading up to the wedding, she was responsive, organized, and answered every one of our questions. Our wedding day itself couldn’t have gone any smoother. Their experience hosting events was noted, as the staff were efficient and welcoming. Several guests commented on how quickly all 130 guest were served dinner. The food and drinks were all delicious. We prioritized good food at our wedding, and 2941 fully delivered. Weeks later we still have guests telling us how good the food was. The venue itself was gorgeous. All of the natural light and scenery outside made for the perfect location. The additional seasonal holiday decor added the perfect touch. We had a wonderful wedding here and highly recommend!

2941 is a hidden gem

Where do we even begin. We had cancelled our destination wedding and had to replan a smaller, more intimate reception in 9 months. Ivana at 2941 was with us every step of the way, was incredibly patient and sweet, and gave us peace of mind at all times. 2941 is not only a GORGEOUS venue that makes INCREDIBLE food (and cakes...I mean look at our wedding cake they made for us!!!), but it is a place where the people involved truly care. We could not have envisioned our wedding reception to have taken place anywhere else. They were incredibly flexible and accommodating and everything was absolutely perfect. We want to thank Ivana, Sam, and the chef and staff for the most incredible experience. We cannot recommend them enough!

Beautiful Venue, Great Food, Awesome Service!

We recently got married at 2941 and from the beginning planning stages everything was flawless. We traveled from NJ to get married here and there is honestly not one negative thing I can say about this venue! Though I do not usually give very detailed reviews, I will try to break everything down so whoever is reading this can feel confident that Restaurant 2941 is the perfect venue for you.
Let's begin with the aesthetics. 2941 is absolutely beautiful. The waterfalls and perfectly manicured grounds will take your breath away. In addition to the outside, the inside is equally beautiful with every room boasting views of the outside. Now let's talk about the food. EVERYTHING is delicious! From the main entrees to the hors d'oeuvres your guest will be in food heaven after each bite! What I especially appreciated about the food and the chef is their willingness to accommodate food allergies. I am gluten free and there were so many options to choose from as well as a gluten free wedding cake. Lastly, I want to discuss the awesome service that we received from the whole team and particularly Michelle. Michelle was absolutely amazing from the first day we toured the venue to the day of our wedding. She answered every question in a timely manner and went above and beyond to ensure that every detail that was important to us was executed. If you are debating whether or not you should get married here, debate no longer.! This is the perfect venue and will check all of your boxes whether you have a large wedding of over 100 or an intimate wedding, like we had, of only 30. Restuarant 2941 is definitely the place to go!

2941 easily earns 10/10!

My wife and I just got married at 2941 and it went perfectly. We woke up calm as could be on our wedding day knowing that rain or shine, our venue would still be pristine. Both the outdoor and indoor ceremony options are absolutely beautiful, and the staff was so flexible, that they waited to see how the weather was on the day before letting us choose which we preferred. Speaking of flexibility, they were happy to help give us many different table/seating options depending on what worked best for us. It also cannot be overstated how amazing the food was. From hors d’oeuvres to desserts, every plate of food was unbelievably good. Half our guests told us that they’re thinking of traveling back to Falls Church just to eat at 2941 one more time. The Restaurant was also extremely accommodating of different allergies and dietary restrictions. Lastly, every staff member at 2941 was a delight. The servers were kind, the bartenders (who served phenomenal custom drinks) were enthusiastic, and every managerial member was always two steps ahead thinking of what we may need. A huge shoutout to Director of Special Events, Michelle Marquez, who helped us set out the framework for a truly perfect day, and was always so amazing when replying to our many, many emails. 2941 Restaurant will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we are deeply grateful to them for all they did to help make our wedding so special!

07/24/2022 wedding day! So special!

2941 restaurant is amazing! Can’t say enough about Michelle, Sam, Michaela, and the staff that have all participated to make our wedding day special. They’re’ extremely professional, patient, prompt, and responsive! Strong communication skills. I also appreciated all of their efforts to making sure our day was smooth and not have to worry about a single thing. We created our own timeline and coordinated with our vendors since we did not have a coordinator but our event manager Sam made sure everything was smooth and we did not have to worry about a single thing. Not to mention the food was and is phenomenal our guests were raving!!! Food is so important to us and the food was something that made our event exquisite! The bartenders were extremely professional and charismatic. The pastry chef was amazing as well with handling our cake topper, flowers, and cake! This venue makes sure that you do not have to worry about a thing as a couple and to just focus on saying I do. Thank you 2941 for making this as the best day of our lives and for also being a part of it! We are extremely happy and would love to do it all over again if we had the chance to! Not to mention the venue itself is extremely stunning from the outdoor terrace, to the dinning area, tasting room, koi room, and main lobby! Top notch quality, professionalism and food

2941 is the best venue for top notch quality. Their staff is expertly trained and the food is delicious. We got so many compliments on the bar service, as well. We had about 150 guests and rented the main dining room. We didn't have to pay a rental fee, just a food and beverage minimum, which made them really affordable compared to other venues. We looked at other venues where we would have needed to bring in a caterer, chairs, tables, linens, etc. 2941 was cheaper than hiring a caterer and renting all the things, AND had higher end options for food and drinks for the same cost.

Our ceremony was offsite at our church. It was super hot the day we got married so they had both the inside and outside set up for cocktail hour so people could choose. It was great for piece of mind to know that for the cocktail hour (or if we had done there ceremony there) that they have a backup plan for inclement weather.

One thing to note, which wasn't an issue for us because we didn't want to have that many decorations, is that because the restaurant has art, you can't hang anything on the walls. For decorations, we just had floral centerpieces and the place looked plenty festive.

Michelle, the special events manager, is a dream to work with and is super responsive. All around, they are super professional and I would highly recommend them.

Best Wedding Ever

"Best Wedding I've evey been to" is something I've heard multiple times this week from my guest describing my wedding last Saturday. Everything was perfect. When I say everything, I am not exaggerating. The day was perfection and a huge part of that was because of the staff at 2941. 1. The venue is absolutely beautiful. 2. Michelle helped us to make sure we understood everything that would be happening leading up to the event. 3. The TASTING , the tasting was a perfect way to see how the restaurant will operate on your wedding day. 4,5,6,7. The food, the food, the food the food. several people commented that it was the Best food they have ever had at a wedding. Everything was prepared as if they were serving a private table instead of a mass of people. 8. The Staff, was so attentive to every little need. the made all guest feel welcomed and greeted everyone with a drink on entry. The staff is vaccinated and wears masks the entire night. 9 I didn't want the night to end. It was wonderful. 10 They took extra care of myself and the groom. We had food set aside for us, and a drink on hand at all times. I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone. I think my guest will too

Perfect for our intimate, foodie wedding

We were hoping our wedding would be as painless as possible to plan, and 2941, namely Michelle, made that happen. Michelle is a true professional at what she does and she has wedding coordination down to an art. She keeps couples on task while still being flexible to accommodate all sorts of requests. We're two foodies and longtime diners at 2941, and Michelle worked with the chef to replicate a dish that we had had at 2941 years prior to be served at our wedding. Overall, the food and service was phenomenal and our guests were really pleased.

Additionally, 2941 is a beautiful venue. Our guests were in awe of the outdoor terrace. When I shared some of our "sneak peek" photos (credit to Amanda Godlove of Lux Photography), people couldn't believe that they were taken at a restaurant! We had a perfect, fall day for our wedding, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice.

Beautiful Venue, Amazing Food

Everything about our experience at 2941 was exceptional. The staff, particularly Michelle, were so helpful, kind and professional. We had to postpone the wedding for a year due to Covid and they were helpful, honorable, completely gracious and understanding. The venue - restaurant and grounds - are stunning. And the food is completely incomparable. Perfectly prepared and impeccably served. I have been to a lot of beautiful weddings but this was in a class of its own - still hearing from friends about the food. So happy we chose 2941.

Amazing venue

I loved loved loved having my wedding ceremony and reception at 2942. Michelle Marquez, the director of special events, was a dream to work with - so responsive, professional, and organized. You won’t find better customer service - the staff met and anticipated every need. Plus the venue is gorgeous - the outdoor terrace was perfect for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and the main dining room was beautiful-the glass windows, the sunburst chandeliers, and the artwork made for a beautiful setting. Oh and the food—so delicious! Every guest raved about it! I couldn’t be more pleased.

Venue Perfection!

Where to start with our amazing experience with 2941. It all starts with Michelle. I truly don’t think we would have been able to pull off our wedding and reception without her with us every step of the way. You couldn’t ask for a more helpful, responsive, patient, flexible, and generally wonderful person to work with when it comes to planning your wedding. Planning during COVID had its challenges every step of the way, but it felt like Michelle and the 2941 team were always one step ahead. We had to make a change to our wedding venue 3 weeks before the big day and now not only were we having our small wedding dinner of 30 people at 2941 but moved our entire wedding ceremony to the 2941 Terrace. Our goal was to have everything outside, but a storm rolled through in the middle of our cocktail hour that forced a quick move inside. It seemed like the 2941 staff had everything moved inside to the Waterfall room before we even made it back there. We also hosted a cocktail reception the following night for 100 people. The staff was incredible in anticipating our every need, keeping strict adherence to safety requirements, and making sure everyone had plenty of food and a drink in their hand. The space was beautiful, the food was amazing, and the team was truly top-notch. With every challenge that popped up, which was bound to happen in pandemic planning, 2941 had a solution and was flexible with us every step of the way. Our guests raved about the food and service! We’ll forever be thankful for 2941 making our two-day wedding event truly memorable.

Amazing venue and food!

Michelle was a life-saver for our micro wedding plans. We wanted to make sure the venue we chose not only had amazing food but an outdoor feel to it. We received that and more at 2941 where the food and drinks were amazing and the only "bad" comments we heard from our guests were that there was too much food! We booked the Koi Room, which was meant for 60+ guests, but perfect for our micro wedding of 16 guests during covid which included a 9x9 dance floor and safe distance between each table. We had an unexpected change the night before the wedding that changed everything, but rather than worry 2941 along with our wedding coordinator worked late in the evening and morning of the wedding to create an amazing reception beyond what we could ever imagine. If you book 2941 you will not only have great food, amazing staff, and many options to choose from, but I can promise you that your day will be unforgettable at this venue.

Awesome venue

We loved the space we had for our venue, especially with our cocktail hour being outside...the views of the koi ponds and the lake were amazing and the food was as always delicious.

Beautiful venue with amazing food and incredible staff

When I started searching for a wedding venue, I knew I wanted an outdoor ceremony, but a location not too far outside DC, as I didn't want to be out in the middle of nowhere, which would be inconvenient to our guests. 2941 Restaurant turned out to be absolutely PERFECT. I cannot say enough good things about the team at 2941! I had a great first impression of Michelle since all the way back to my initial inquiry - she was so responsive, and remained that way through the conclusion of our event. I never had to follow up - she always replies the same day, often within the hour! Our wedding changed quite a bit from our original plan due to the pandemic, and Michelle and 2941 management were so incredibly accommodating. Of course, the space is beautiful, indoors and outdoors. The food was amazing - several of our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they had ever had. We also heard quite a number of compliments on the servers and bartenders. One of the staff members very sweetly adjusted my train and veil as I was about to walk down the "aisle." Sam, the manager on site the night of our wedding, was a total pro and the event went perfectly. I am so happy we held our wedding at 2941!

Perfect wedding venue for foodies, art and nature lovers

We couldn’t be happier with our 2941 wedding. The setting and scenery are gorgeous (the fall leaves were perfect). We ended up having the ceremony inside, and the “backup” location was stunning. Having the wedding at a restaurant means they take care of so many details - tables, chairs, linens, dishes, food, alcohol, cake, snacks, etc etc... The events staff (Michelle!) were excellent at working with us to make the day exactly what we wanted. The staff the day of (Sion and Sam!) was exceptional and went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Also, it’s so much fun that we get to go back to our venue over and over to celebrate and remember the day. We wouldn’t change a thing!

Excellent customer service and breathtaking scenery

Michelle and Ivana did a fabulous job in making our wedding a beautiful occasion! They answered all of our questions prior to the wedding, and had no problem making adjustments to our arrangements when requested. Everything was set up perfectly, from our ceremony on the terrace, to the hor d'oeuvres reception, to our wedding dinner in the Tasting Room. The food was so delicious and all our guests enjoyed their meals. They provided everything we ordered exactly how we wanted. Our on-site team, Elias and Jeff, were excellent in taking care of us and making sure we had everything we needed! And we took some amazing photos throughout their breathtaking grounds.
We are so happy we began our marriage at this wonderful restaurant. I hope to hold another event at 2941 and have highly recommended the restaurant to others.

Exemplary staff, service, food, and ambience. Best choice ever.

We had our wedding at 2941 late July and could not have been happier with the service, staff, food, or ambience. It was simply perfect.

Staff: Michelle & her team are professional, timely, and pleasant to work with. Detail-oriented, they put me and my wife at ease as we got closer to the event. I cannot say enough good things about them. Best. Team. Ever.

Food: Amazing. High-quality ingredients with fun and tasteful presentation made for the best wedding food I have had, which was echoed by many of our guests. The Sea Bass in particular for me was delightful.

Service: Wonderful. Professional and courteous. Our guests all felt extremely cared for and welcomed.

Ambience: AMAZING. Seriously. Just look at the photos and you will see how gorgeous the restaurant is both inside and out on the courtyard. Modern and fun, yet tasteful and chic.

I recommend 2941 for your wedding w/ the highest recommendation I can give. You will not regret it!

2941 gave us our dream wedding. From the start their director of special events (Michelle) is extremely helpful. She answered our emails in timely manner, she was able to accommodate our requests. The landscaping of the restaurant is breath taking, it's a hidden gem in the busy streets of Northern VA. The food is wonderful. Me and my husband enjoyed the food tasting, they provided us with such a wonderful and stress free experience. Also, the staff is extremely professional and friendly. They will go above and beyond to make sure they meet everyone's needs.
If you are looking for a ceremony venue and reception venue that can provide beautiful ambiance, delicious food and wonderful staff, I will highly recommend 2941!

We were absolutely thrilled with our wedding at 2941! It was everything we hoped it would be and more. Michelle Marquez was simply wonderful to work with. She is warm, accommodating, and a consummate experienced professional who does everything possible to ensure that your wedding wishes come true. As for the venue, one look at Restaurant 2941 and we knew nothing could compare. The photos are accurate. If you can't envision it based on photos alone, then take the time to view it in person. You'll love the landscaping, the artful and contemporary interior, the soaring ceiling, incredible views, and diversity of spaces available. Add to all this amazing, pinterest-worthy food. My guests, including some very picky relatives, told me over and over that it was the best meal they'd ever had at a wedding. Of course, we already knew the food would be great, as we'd had the opportunity to sample almost everything on the menu during the uniquely formatted tasting hosted by 2941. Finally, the wait staff at Restaurant 2941 is superb. We'd seen them in action during the tasting and were confident in not only the kitchen's ability to turn out 130 perfectly cooked meals simultaneously but also in the wait staff's ability to quickly serve them to our guests. Finally, while we spent more than was probably necessary (because we wanted the top-premium bar and an extraordinarily food-heavy cocktail hour), I believe that 2941 gives you good value for your money and is priced well. I have no doubt that we will be back at 2941 in the future, to enjoy the fabulous atmosphere, savor the food, and reminisce about every second of our wonderful wedding. I cannot recommend Restaurant 2941 highly enough!!

2941 has been a go-to restaurant for special occasions or just an intimate dinner with excellent food. When my fiancé and I were trying to determine our wedding venue, 2941 came to mind immediately. In fact, we did not look at any other venues and we were not disappointed. This is one of the most beautiful locations in all of Northern VA for a wedding. it is tucked away with a beautiful terrace overlooking a lake with artistic pieces all around. They also have a water fall terrace which makes for stunning photographs. The Event Director, Michelle Marquez, was amazing throughout the entire process. She met with us multiple times and was very responsive to our many emails and calls. She gave sound advice when we were uncertain and just made us feel completely comfortable that our event was in good hands. On the day of the wedding, the 2941 team was very attentive, professional and courteous to all of our guests. The Manager on Duty that day, Sam, constantly checked in with us to ensure all was going smoothly and all of our needs were met. The Chef's menu offerings were outstanding. The food was elegantly presented, from the hors d'oeuvres to the seated meal, but most importantly, extremely delicious! The cake was a piece of art and was actually delicious as well! We heard from many of our guests that this was the best food and wedding cake they have ever had at a wedding! 2941 made our wedding day one to remember for decades to come! We highly recommend them! I don't know where to even start with this venue - it has always been a favorite of mine to go to for dinner dates with my (then) fiance. So when we were looking for venues and decided we wanted to make sure the food at our wedding was unforgettable -- 2941 immediately came to mind. Not only has their food been cook to perfection, served at the appropriate temperature, and seasoned beautifully, it is also elegant. We were going for a very classy and fun wedding and the presentation of the food just took it over the edge. If you add in the impeccable service from all of the staff, everything was perfect.

On top of all that - the venue is beautiful! We had our ceremony outside in front of the bigger waterfall feature, overlooking the fountain in the pond and our guests were blown away. We loved how unique and intimate the terrace was, and how breathtaking the main dining room is with the floor to ceiling windows and vaulted ceilings. It's so dramatic and the guests absolutely loved partying all night there!

One last thing I must mention if Michelle Marquez. She was the event specialist director we worked with during this whole process. She was beyond professional -- she was amazing. She helped us through all of our random questions we had (since neither my husband nor I have ever planned an event like this), and met with us multiple times to make sure we were confident in our schedule, our day, and our food selections. She made this whole experience that much better with her professionalism, punctuality, and responsiveness!

One other cool thing -- we now always have a "spot" for our anniversary dinners :)

This venue is one of the most gorgeous places to have a wedding! I was lucky enough to get the perfect weather for an outdoors ceremony. Mixed with an awesome group of staff and servers attending to my guests, I could not have asked for more. However, the MVP award goes to Michelle Marquez! Without her guidance and help, I could not have pulled the wedding together. My fiance at the time was overseas so most of the planning was done through me and Michelle was patient, kind, attentive, helpful and professional when it came to my inexperience with organizing events. Sometimes, I felt bad that I had to email/call for minor changes and questions at off times throughout the months leading to my big day. Yet, she helped me with a smile! Honestly, the wedding would have been a disaster if it weren't for her. Everyone loved the food choices. The Filet Mignon was tender and cooked and seasoned magnificently. The salmon was tender. The bartenders were quick and ready to make people happy and drunk. The valet was quick and attentive so there was no backlog of guests waiting to arrive or waiting to leave. They graciously left water in the waiting room while the bride and I were waiting to enter the ceremony walkway. This venue has so many cool spots for photos. Don't miss the door at the end of the hallway. In the end, I was extremely happy with the venue choice. It may be a bit pricey, but the guests will always remember the food and entertainment and the atmosphere. It is worth the money for an unforgettable experience. All of my vendors loved the location. My guests were impressed with the place. I highly recommend booking your date for the wedding ahead of time as it is very popular.

My wedding at Restaurant 2941 was spectacular! Restaurant 2941 allowed me to have my dream wedding, without having to break the bank. Mike Herz, Michelle Marquez, Nikaihla Oliver, Will Elchert and Aykan were all very helpful, and a pleasure to work with. We received tons and tons of compliments on how beautiful our venue was, and how great the food was. I would not hesitate to book this venue, you will not be let down.

Michelle was great and helped throughout and remaining flexible with us in the short amount of time we gave ourselves to work with. We had a party of about 24 guests.

The staff on our wedding fantastic. We had a big setback on our wedding day... Our Officiant was MIA and up showing up about 45 minutes late. The manager Mike was very quick to jump in and try to coordinate with the Officiant from another wedding at the restaurant on our behalf. Unfortunately, he only spoke Korean, so that possibility was off the table. He then remembered that the Sommelier may be ordained and reached out to him. The Sommelier (I wish I could remember his name), was quick to offer his assistance in our moment of need. Both him and Mike were ready to go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure our event continued. Ultimately our Officiant showed up and preformed the ceremony, but we were comforted to know the staff was ready to step up and assist if needed.

The gentleman and lady that worked the dinner were also extremely helpful and on point throughout the evening. They not only provided dinner and bar service, but I also had to rely on them for help with cake cutting advice and instructions. Overall we had a great experience with the restaurant, all of the guests had positive things to say about the service and food. We will definitely recommend 2941 to our friends for any of their events.

We had both our wedding ceremony and reception at 2941, and I'm glad we did! I am so happy with how our wedding went, and Michelle Marquez and her staff made everything go so smoothly. The food was amazing, and the cake was beautifully decorated. Not only that, but the staff was very attentive and helpful. The wedding ended up being on a very hot day, and the staff came to me and asked the day of if I would rather have the cocktail hour indoors. Having had the thought earlier, I figured it was too late to change it up - but the staff being proactive in asking just proves how flexible and professional they truly were. I am very appreciate of that.

The wedding was perfect - exactly what we both wanted. I can't thank 2941 enough for all that they did!

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous working with 2941, from start to finish. The food is phenomenal, the wedding cake was scrumptious, and the whole process of planning our special day was a breeze, thanks to Michelle and her professional team! We held our rehearsal dinner here, 18 people. The event was great, the food was really phenomenal (I really enjoyed the appetizers we chose, lamb and mini burgers). Had a great time, everything seemed to go well. The long table setup was a little tight by the wall as servers came by, but no big issues. Beautiful place, fun to see the Koi, waterfall, and the original Dali outside.

We could not be happier that we chose to have our wedding at 2941. There is not a single thing we could complain about - everything was perfect from start to finish! I began working with Michelle at 2941 about a year before our wedding. From the beginning, every question I had was answered quickly and Michelle was always so professional and easy to work with. I cannot say enough about how simple she made the process. The menu tasting was amazing - we had such a hard time choosing what to offer our guests because all of the food was so delicious! And the food on our wedding day was just as great as the food we tasted - every single guest raved about it! The day went seamlessly and the staff at 2941 are truly professionals who know what they are doing. The terrace was the perfect place for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and made for beautiful photos. We were also happy to have extra space inside available in case of rain or bad weather - we never had to worry about that! Our wedding day was amazing - I couldn't have asked for anything better. Thank you 2941! We will be back for special events in the future!

My husband and I were wed at 2941. Michelle, Monika and the entire team were awesome! As mentioned the tasting was a wonderful experience. It's a multi-day event and I had the opportunity to try full size portions of everything on the catering menu. I was confident that I made the right food choices and able to to see exactly how the food would be presented to my guests. I can't say enough good things. Simply put it was a wonderful experience. Several guests stated it was the best wedding food they ever had and we attend many weddings.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at 2941 Restaurant. We had cocktails on the terrace and dinner in the Waterfall Room. Everything from start to finish was exceptional! Michelle helped us with planning from the very beginning. One of the best parts of the preparations was the tasting!

The wedding reception was perfect! Our guests were so impressed with the beautiful venue, delicious food and cake, and attentive service. They couldn't say enough wonderful things about the event.

My husband and I were able to enjoy the months of preparations because we knew everything was being taken care of by the excellent staff. We'll definitely be coming back to celebrate anniversaries and other special occasions!

I wish I had another daughter to be able to have another wedding here! The tasting was outrageous! Everything was perfect! The staff was attentive, the location was beautiful and the food was amazing and the cake was beautiful and delicious. We had our ceremony out on the beautiful patio with a cocktail hour, and a dinner in the Waterfall Room. The guests were raving about the food and service (and my brother who has been in the hospitality industry for over 30 years was very impressed). It was effortlessly pulled off thanks to Michelle and staff at 2941. I would do it again in a minute!

2941 was amazing. Michelle, the event coordinator, was so nice, helpful, and easy to work with. The setting was beautiful and the service was fantastic. My guests loved the food and everyone had a great time. I did not have a day of coordinator but absolutely did not need one. Everything ran seamlessly at the event. I didn't have to do a thing but enjoy the night. I truly could not have been happier with this venue and I love that my husband and I can go there on anniversaries and remember what an amazing experience we had there on our wedding day.

What a beautiful venue! We have organized the reception and the dinner party for our daughter's wedding there on May 31st, 2015. We are grateful to Mr. Chemel, the master Chef, Michelle Marquez, the events director, Jeff, the restaurant manager in charge, and, last but not least, all the wait staff helping that day. Every single item has been handled smoothly and expertly, with grace that could only come from skill and experience. Our wedding ceremony and reception last May 8th, 2015 took place at 2941 Restaurant. The ceremony was at the Terrace which provided a beautiful backdrop for the pictures. The lunch reception was at the Waterfall Room which provided a great view and enough space for our 47 guests. The guests really enjoyed the location and gave great reviews on the food and wine. The event went smoothly and we are really grateful for the servers who worked with us on that day. Michelle Marquez is a great resource to work with. I had a lot of questions and requests prior to the wedding and she was able to address them all. I am from out of town and I really appreciate her help in making the preparations easier.

We had our wedding at 2941 last week and everything was above and beyond our expectation. The combination of the nice weather, amazing view of the lake, the beautiful waterfall, elegant dining room with floor to ceiling glass window, professional staff, and great food, made our wedding day perfect!
The wedding coordinator Michelle, was very helpful and worked with us on every single detail before the wedding and on the day of the wedding, Jeff Turner, the on-site manager was extremely helpful and supportive. He saved us many time when things went wrong by offering services and support outside of our contract.
If you are looking for a nice outdoor view to host your reception and also have elegant reception dinner with good food, 2941 offers both at same time. We looked at many venues in DC/VA/MD area, and they are either indoor hotels good for reception, or far-away winery with nice view but non-impressive reception.
We have receive many compliment from our guests on the food, the views and how friendly and nice the staff were. They worked very well with our DJ, Photographer and florist. We had great experience with 2941 and recommend it to all of our friends! Thank you for making our wedding day memorable and flawless!

We decided to have a small wedding and wanted a venue with a private room and delicious food. 2941 delivered in spades. First, the restaurant has several amazing places to take photographs. Second, the restaurant has spectacular views. Third, the food was unforgettable. Fourth, the staff made sure that everything was perfect and provided us with several amazing options. We had our wedding ceremony and reception at 2941 and we absolutely loved it! The Terrace provides an intimate, beautiful and fun space for the ceremony and the gorgeous Waterfall Room provided a perfect setting for our reception. Our friends and family are mostly from out of town and really loved having everything in the same location. We got rave reviews on the setting and the exquisite food! The service we received from 2941 servers was professional, prompt and gracious. They even left hors d'oeuvres for us (the bride and groom), which we really appreciated because we were starving!

We should note: Michelle Marquez of the Special Events team is the best in the event coordination business - she is very professional, patient and thoughtful, and really accommodated all our questions and wishes. We really enjoyed working with her and the team throughout our wedding planning process, and cannot thank them enough!

The Venue:
With 75 guests, we held our ceremony on the outdoor terrace, chose the waterfall room for dining and koi room for dancing and dessert! The event spaces are beautiful- floor to ceiling windows, tons of natural light, waterfalls, koi fish, lakeview from the terrace, artistic... we loved it!

The Services:
Michelle Marquez, the event director, was extremly helpful and responsive throughout the entire planning process. Lets be honest, planning a wedding on your own is extremely stressful- Michelle's responsiveness, professionalism, and honesty were a breath of fresh air. She replied to our emails no later than 24 hours- sometimes the same day and answered all of our questions. She really worked with us on the details of our wedding and helped us create a truly special event. We look back and realize how much we appreciate her attentiveness! We were very happy with the event staff on the day of the wedding. They were attentive and helpful in addressing any hiccups that came up along the way. After the ceremony, my husband and I were met with a glass of champagne and a congratulations. Waiting for us at our sweetheart table were a plate of beautifully placed hors d'oeuvres that we missed while taking photographs during cocktail hour. Our entrees were boxed and packed away for our exit as we requested (we did table visits while our guests enjoyed their entrees). As far as we know, our special requests were followed exactly. We were really able to relax and enjoy our wedding day, and for that we are so grateful!

The Food:
Delicious and beautifully presented, we were very pleased with our menu choices and
each dish is its own little piece of art. The hors d'oeuvres are equally delicious, and the pastry chef provided a german chocolate cake that we still dream about. My husband and I joke that we should plan another event here just for the tastings :) Can't wait to return for an anniversary dinner!

2941 Restaurant is a DMV hidden gem! I will not forget the feeling I felt walking in on the day of our wedding....I was blown away with how beautiful the venue is. The light that comes through the large windows and how beautiful the sunset looked as we danced our first dance as husband and wife. We had our wedding in the main dining room and our ceremony in the terrace. All our guests absolutely loved the food and the scenic views. Michelle, Special Event Director, was absolutely amazing from the initial interest meeting to the last e-mail congratulating us and following up on our day-of service. The service captain and the staff working made sure everyone was well taken care of. The bartenders were super friendly and kept the night going. I could go on and on...but would definitely recommend this venue to anyone.

We held our wedding reception in the lobby of the adjacent building with all of the service and contracting provided by 2941. We had to move our wedding reception with two weeks' notice because of the government shutdown and we were so glad we did. 2941 provided everything we could have asked for and more, including making us feel incredibly well-taken care of during a hugely stressful time. The food was spectacular and our guests haven't stopped commenting on that four months later. The service was above and beyond - they set up special valet for us, the bartenders worked the room to keep wine glasses refreshed, the event coordinator was extraordinary, and so on. There isn't one thing we would change and would highly recommend 2941.

We had our wedding this past fall at 2941 and could not have been happier with the experience. It’s been 3 months, and our guests are still raving about how amazing the food was and how beautiful the venue was. It ended up raining just half an hour before our ceremony, but the 2941 staff was very accommodating and was able to help us quickly move everything indoors (to the building lobby).

For our reception, we booked both the Koi and Waterfall rooms. At first, we were concerned about splitting up the dining and dancing areas, but it ended up turning out great. We even had some guests tell us that they preferred this setup, since it allowed people to sit in a quieter area when they wanted to take a break from dancing. The food, needless to say, was a total hit. Our guests loved everything from the hors d’oevres to the main courses to the cake.

2941 had everything flowing very smoothly. A big part of that was Michelle, their private dining coordinator, who was very responsive and helpful during the process. She always thoroughly answered my questions (which, trust me, were a lot) and helped put my mind at ease. My (now) husband and I are so grateful to 2941 for making our wedding day so special!

OMG OMG OMG!!! I could have not picked a more PERFECT venue. It took me about 1 year honestly to find a place to have our wedding. Throughout our search 2941 kept popping up. I finally decided to go take a look and the moment I step inside I fell absolutely in love. 2941 was absolutely beautiful!!! The food was absolutely amazing!!! (The food just keep coming and coming) The most important part was the customer service. Michelle and her crew were simply incredible. My wedding day was filled with LOVE!!! Wonderful, Beautiful, Amazing!!! Michelle and the rest of the staff were fantastic. 2941 was THE perfect location for us. it is an unassuming restaurant in an office building but had everythign we needed. we had a small wedding...or a large dinner. we rented the patio for the ceremony and the larger of the two private dining rooms called "waterfall room" for our reception. michelle was an absolute joy to work with. she was extremely responsive. throughout the process we had answers always that same day or first thing in AM. and when there were issues was quick to accommodate (we have food dietary needs). the setting was beautiful. we used the patio for our ceremony, we lucked out with the weather and it ended up being one of the most beautiful parts of the wedding even though i hardly did any decorating for that part focusing more on reception room...that is how stunning it is to begin with. there are plenty of green areas for great photos but also some industrial parts that made for an excellent backdrop. the food was just as delicious on the day of as it was at the food tasting. the staff is at your beck and call. Sombat was our favorite and he was there with a glass of champagne as we came in right after ceremony - what a nice surprise. to be completely upfront....they dont have a room for ladies to get ready in. this was not a dealbreaker for me as i did not have a wedding party...although would have been nice....you will need to work around this one aspect logistically. second, michelle, our coordinator does not work weekends but between the 2941 staff and the wedding coordinator we had hired, this was a non-issue for us. the staff, food, setting, price.....all were great. we had the perfect day and owe big thanks to 2941 for being a part of making that happen.

2941 was the perfect spot for our wedding! We rented the terrace for the ceremony and the Waterfall Room for the reception. Michelle was our coordinator and she was AMAZING. She was very prompt in her replies, very thorough, and did everything that we wanted. She never made us feel like we had too many questions and always provided us with the information we wanted. 2941 has amazing backdrops and is in a quiet location in Falls Church. Amazing, amazing, amazing!! I had a positive experience with this venue from the first inquiry email I sent. We truly feel like we had our dream wedding at 2941 and we could not be more pleased. The venue is stunning and made for wonderful photographs, the food was absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding. We had tons of questions, changes, and requests in the weeks leading up to our wedding and Michelle was always patient, responsive and accommodating. Alisha (the manager on duty the day of our wedding) and the entire staff were so pleasant and helpful. They made sure all our needs were promptly met. We originally planned to have our ceremony on the beautiful terrace overlooking the koi ponds, but as luck would have it, it rained (very hard!) on our wedding day. They set up the Waterfall Room for our ceremony in such a creative and intimate way that we weren’t even sad about not having an outdoor ceremony! We planned our intimate wedding ceremony/reception at 2941 with Michelle Marquez our event coordinator from California and France and couldnt be more happier with the service provided.
The venue, the food, the organization, the staff responsible that day (Borko did a great job) everything went smoothly and we couldnt be more happier.
We got married on march 26th 2012 and everyone loved it!
Of course it is a VERY expensive venue if you think that we had only 37 guests, but if you ask for an estimate and details there will be no surprise.
As with every contact, it is to the customer to read the small lignes and ask questions about everything (rental fees, bar fees etc..).
We didnt feel abused at all, everything was clear and the service perfect.
We will definitely go back for a romantic dinner before heading back to Cali!

We could not be happier with our October 9, 2011 wedding! I've eaten at 2941 several times before and knew the food was going to be good and that the photos would be lovely since the location is so picturesque.

We priced out several other options, mostly hotels, in DC before settling on Virginia as our location. 2941 was price competitive with all the big hotels (W, Marriott, Omni, etc.) and in some cases was actually cheaper per head. We had 140 people and held the ceremony outside and the reception inside. We did luck out with a few deals due to the time of year and the promotions they were running and did not pay an additional fee to rent the space and paid half price for the chairs and the dance floor.

We worked with Erika who was extremely responsive via email and phone and didn't mind us dropping by several times to check things out at the venue. We did a very custom cake design and worked with the chef to get exactly what we wanted and he did an amazing job!

The wait staff the day of was amazing and made sure to come find me and the groom whenever we wandered away from our food. They even left our food until the absolute end of the evening so that we could nibble until the last moment. They recommended we use the Marriott Fairview Park down the street as our hotel for out of town guests and explained how they use a shuttle to go back and forth to the restaurant.

I had several special requests such as providing a particular brand of scotch to my cousin which they were happy to accommodate. They charged me, as I would expect, for this service but did so in an elegant and unobtrusive way so that my cousin received special treatment and the other guests did not feel put-out.

I highly recommend 2941 if you are looking for a naturally gorgeous venue (we did have centerpieces but no other decorations) and spectacular food that your guests will keep talking about for months after the wedding!

We were looking for an upscale, beautiful venue with outstanding food that could accommodate a small wedding of about 45 people. 2941 offered all that and much more. We fell in love with it the first time we saw it - the location is truly breathtaking. Then we met Erika, the event planner for the restaurant.

Erika was incredibly friendly, professional, prompt, responsive, and detail-oriented. All that a bride could want from the event planner at her venue. The food was outstanding, and the cake was a great combination of what we wanted and the pastry chef's artistry. Everybody we had contact with in the restaurant, from the valets, our event planner Erika, the staff who worked on our wedding night and Brian who was the manager on duty for our wedding, provided truly impeccable service.

We also had a minor problem with our DJ and florist not being able to access the venue early enough. However, I believe that's a problem with the General Dynamics security. Everything was ready on time though, and I didn't know about it until after the wedding.

We did not experience any additional charges than what was specified in the contract. Also, the event planners at the venue are not wedding coordinators. It was clear from the beginning that we would meet the manager on duty the day before the wedding, but that it was not going to be Erika. 2941 was also willing to customize the menu, and they boxed up leftover cake and meals from last-minute cancellations. It was very windy and the staff moved the cocktail hour inside without any delays. The staff fulfilled every request that we had promptly and with a smile.

I believe you get what you pay for. 2941 is an expensive venue, but it was worth every penny to us. As far as the venue goes, our wedding was flawless. Our guests are still raving about food and service, and working with 2941 was one of the least stressful parts of wedding planning. And that is priceless.

If you are looking for the perfect venue for your intimate wedding, this is the place! The private dining staff at 2941 worked closely with us to create a truly magical event. We planned this event from hundreds of miles away, and it came off without a hitch! I never waited more than a few hours to recieve an answer to my many many questions AND the answers were always, 'of course we can accomodate that for you'! The level of service and quality of the food was beyond outstanding. From the passed Hors d' Oeuvres to the wine service to the custom wedding cake every last thing was spot on! They were accomadating of vegetarian and vegan guests, and handled special requests smoothly and efficently. 2941 works closely with floral designers and other vendors to create, in our case, a truly fairytale wedding. 2941 was a wonderful setting for our wedding. Our guests raved about the food, wine, service and atmosphere. We didn't need to worry about a thing during the ceremony, dinner and reception. Not once in the process of planning the wedding and reception did we feel frustrated or ignored, Michelle, the event planner was very attentive and clear.

This rating may seem overblown, but frankly, 2941 and its impeccable staff deserve all the highest ratings, and in every category. When I think of all the services, from responding to nearly every customization of the meal above and beyond the breadth of the choices that were offered, to the personalized attention my wedding was given by our events coordinator Michelle, to the impeccable service at the wedding on all fronts, I just cannot see any reason to give them anything less than top ratings.
Michelle (private events coordinator at 2941) was my true partner in getting me through the wedding planning. She even came to our wedding to personally oversee that things ran smoothly, and did not leave until dinner service was complete, which was far beyond what her responsibilities were to us.
Michelle facilitated every special request that was in her ability to grant. In the very rare case she could not grant it, she found a way to make my alternate plan work. But beyond that, she was an incredible support for me, showing interest in my dress/shoe/jewelry choices throughout those months of decision-making. Her staff also set up most of the decor prior to the wedding, even though it wasn't their responsibility. She met with me whenever I requested a meeting, and with whomever I brought with me.
We received rave reviews from so many of our guests on the food, the cake, the service, the house wines, the martinis mixed by the bartender; not to mention the breathtaking landscape of the outdoor terrace where the ceremony and cocktail hour were held, as well as the modern elegance of the restaurant itself where the reception was held. For the DC area, 2941 is more than competitive for the quality; rather, it was a BARGAIN compared with other comparable quality restaurants/caterers/venues, for instance offering a 3-course meal vs the average 2-course (including dessert/cake it would be 4 courses). I cannot say how many times our guests came up to us during and after our wedding to tell us that not only was it the best wedding they had attended, but the most fun and relaxing as well.
I just think this is THE perfect venue, on all fronts (and especially for food connoisseurs), where you can hold a ceremony and the reception all in one place for convenience of out of town guests, and present top notch food at your wedding. All this and taken care of like yours is the only event they have. I'd like to take credit for the success of our wedding, but I really cannot take any credit except recognizing and choosing it for our venue.

My husband and I rented out the entire 2941 Restaurant for our wedding ceremony and reception, which proved to be a great choice, because the main room has amazing artwork and views. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, which was a big factor in our decision to get married at 2941. There wasn't much we had to do to decorate- other than provide the centerpieces. There was also a backup location in case of rain located in the Waterfall room (many other venues did not offer such a nice alternative). The gourmet food was also a major deciding factor in our selection of 2941. The menu and cake tastings were so professional and delicious, that we knew the food and service would be amazing on our wedding day. Michelle (one of the 2 event coordinators for 2941) and the 2941 staff did an incredible job to make our wedding such a perfect and amazing event!! Michelle was very responsive and helpful when answering my MANY questions throughout the entire wedding process. All of our guests were so impressed with the attentive and professional staff, as well as the beautiful setting for the ceremony and the reception. We couldn't have asked for it to go any smoother. My husband and I even got to eat our whole meal, which was also fantastic. The prices at 2941 were also very reasonable considering we didn’t have to rent any linens, chairs/tables, or provide excessive decorations. My husband and I know we will be back to eat at 2941 again soon! If I had to do it all again, I would not hesitate to pick 2941 again!!

We love Michelle the wedding planner. She was so prompt and courteous. She got back to us with whatever questions we had and helped us select our menu. We were able to drop off materials the day before and gave them a full details of what we wanted. While Michelle wasn't available the day of our wedding, she ensured that her backup person had all the details of our event to the "T". The food was phenomenal and the location was exquisite. We had a rain-backup location in the restaurant just incase. While we were a small party of only 35, I could see why this restaurant is a 5 star location.

Selecting 2941 for our wedding ceremony and reception venue was one of the best decisions we made when preparing for this important event. Their professionalism, flexibility, service and value could not have been better. With only 60 guests, it is hard to find a venue that can give this level of service for such a reasonable price. The team at 2941 did everything they could to make our day run smoothly. Our tasting was exquisite; full sized portions of all dishes we selected. This enabled my husband and I to each evaluate the particular dish, and discuss what we wanted, and what we would rather not have.

Michelle was always available to us, and was quick to return emails and phone calls. We had no worries that the plans for our ceremony and reception would be executed as we desired.

On the day of the ceremony, the weather turned cold and windy. With an outdoor ceremony planned, it could have been a big disappointment. During the initial planning phases, Michelle suggested booking their second event room as a fall-back option, and I'm now so glad she did. While waiting for the groom and the remainder of the wedding party to arrive, I decided that the ceremony would need to move inside. The staff immediately worked to move everything, DJ, Huppah, chairs and flowers, inside and arrange our alternative room site. Our guests were warm and comfortable in a light filled room with beautiful views of trees, waterfalls and sun during the ceremony.

After the ceremony, when my husband and I came back from time with the photographer, our service captain met us with an appetizer assortment, set aside just for us. We were able to relax and share a moment with each other before entering the reception, that small detail was so meaningful to me.

We had a five course menu and the service timing was perfect. Five 12 tops is a lot to juggle for a kitchen and waitstaff, and the team assigned to us performed flawlessly. I excused myself during the meal for the ladies' room, and caught a glimpse of the staff examining each plate before it went in to service for presentation and correct composition. Their care and attention to detail was wonderful.

All of our guests raved about the food, the setting and the service. My husband and I could not have picked a more perfect venue than 2941 for our wedding ceremony and reception.

I cannot imagine having held my wedding at any other location than 2941. Thanks to the restaurant's event coordinator, Michelle, I was always at ease that the entire day would run smoothly. And it did. You cannot beat having your wedding catered by a professional, 5 star wait staff. The food was the best "wedding food" I've ever had and my guests were blown away by the restaurant's atmosphere.

2941 is a beautiful & convenient location to have a ceremony & reception for weddings <200 people. It's nice to have everything at the same location (ceremony outside on the terrace, dinner and reception in the main dining room, complimentary valet parking) with most things included so you do not have to worry about a separate caterer/bartender/cake vendor or rentals for chairs, dance floor, tablecloths, plates, etc... Michelle was very helpful with everything! My ceremony went very smoothly and I didn't have to run around and do anything. I only had my ceremony here and it was a bit pricey but there were no bumps at all in the ceremony. If you want a less stressful wedding and you have the money to splurge this location is the best place to do it. I would highly recommend this location again.

If your budget allows there is no more beautiful place to have a reception than 2941. Our wedding was about a month ago and we are still receiving compliments from all our friends and family on how beautiful the restaruant was and how delicious the food was.

My wife and I worked with Erika in setting up the reception. Erika was attentive to our budget and flexible in working with all the vendors that arrived durring the reception. We had only 1 minor issue with the flower delivery to the restuarant in the morning but we don't know who's fault it was.

Regardless - Erika and her team were able to help us when the vases did not a arrive for the bridal party table - a simple work around was put in place and the reception continued!!

I don't understand some of the negative comments from some of these people. It doesn't matter who you are working with becuase there will always be some back and forth. Its called negotiating. I feel that the 2941 team and Erika did there best within reason to accomodate our requests. I have had not 'late charges' on my credit card since the final amount was paid.

We had the maining dinning hall and terrace for Brunch from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM - my only regret is that we had to leave at 4:00 :( - I think the whole party would have stayed till the next morning cause everyone was having so much fun!!!

2941 helped create a priceless memory for my wife, my self and our friends and family. My wife and I plan on going back for Valentines Day every year to help feed that wonderful memory.

Magical Rehearsal Dinner!

We had such a top-notch experience hosting our rehearsal dinner at 2941. Ivana was incredibly kind and helpful and the whole process was smooth. Venue is gorgeous, food was delicious, parking is available, all my guests were blown away. My parents even coordinated a surprise powerpoint presentation for us with 2941's AV capabilities! I was so happy with this choice. This was a really special night and the venue was perfect.

Fantastic experience

We had our wedding here in September. We could not have asked for a better experience. This place is highly rated for a reason. The staff are all extremely professional and very helpful. Working with Michelle Marquez is great. She's quick to respond and offers good suggestions. Both Sion and Sam were fantastic during the actual wedding day. They really go above and beyond to make sure that you have a positive experience. The wait staff move seamlessly throughout the evening. Food and ambiance are exceptional. You don't have to worry about the quality of the meal-- everything is clearly fresh and fantastic. The tasting experience prior to the event is AWESOME! Come very hungry! In terms of decorations, we only had a florist. Because the restaurant is so lovely (we rented out the entire restaurant on a Sunday), no other decorations were necessary. We had the most perfect weather for our wedding day, so we were able to do the ceremony outside. All guests were pleased with the venue. I can't say enough good things about doing our wedding here. We are SO glad that we chose 2941!!!! Highly recommended!!!!

I would highly recommend this venue for an intimate wedding. The food is great and so is the service. They were able to cater to all our needs. It can be a bit pricey but at the end we got a perfect celebration!

We highly recommend 2941 for an intimate wedding ceremony and reception. The special event staff, led by Michelle, is just outstanding. They were always available to answer our questions and provided a high degree of flexibility to make our wedding exactly what we hoped for. The venue is just magnificent. We were planning an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, but rain/wind forced us to move inside. Much to our delight, the Koi room afforded magnificent views of the gorgeous landscape and was a great alternative. The food and service, well its 294,1 and they knocked it out of the ballpark. On a related note, we used vendors exclusively from 2941's preferred list and they were terrific. Flowers from Karin's Florist, Lux Photography, Olivera Music, Dandelion Patch invitations and Rev. Jaimie Schiffer - we would recommend all of them without reservation. In sum, there was nothing about the evening we would change. Its hard to be 100% satisfied with something, but we were. That is why this is not an anonymous review.

Overall, hosting our wedding ceremony and reception at 2941 can't be a better choice we ever made. Michelle, who's in charge of the special events there, is undoubtedly an industry expert. She is always very responsive to the emails, which made our communication much easier while I'm 2-hour drive away from Falls Church.

On the day of the event, Jeff, the manager was there instead of Michelle. No need to stress out about this, though. Because Jeff and his staff did a great job making sure everything was taken good care of. They tried their best to accomodate any request we had on that day.

One of the best things about 2941 is their delicious food. My guests are all so happy with the food. If you want to impress your guests and more importantly to keep them happy on your bid day, it's critical to provide high-quality dishes.

My small piece of suggestion to 2941 is to have a getting-ready room for the bride. I used the main bathroom (the closest one to where I'm going to walk down the aisle), however, guests will need to use the bathroom before the ceremony starts. If the bride doesn't want to be seen before the big moment comes, it's pretty hard to hide given the amount of glass wall that 2941 has. As a well-renowned wedding venue in DC area, the restaurant needs to consider about investing in this.
