Jessica was such a blast to work with for our engagement photos and I'm really excited to see how our wedding photos turn out in a few months. Neither my fiance or I like taking pictures but looking through the photos you could barely tell. She was very prompt returning emails and was willing to answer any questions we sent her way.

Update: Our wedding pictures are gorgeous and again she was a lot of fun to work with. I've gotten a lot of comments from everybody about how great the pictures look.

283 Photography shot both our engagement and wedding photography! Jessica was very personable and had both my fiancé, now husband and I feeling super comfortable and relaxed within minutes of both sessions. 283 Photography is super creative and listens to what the clients are asking for in their photography.
Thank you Jessica for helping us find a photographer for a lifetime and we can't wait to see photography from the wedding a couple of weeks ago! Just from the "sneak peek" we know they will be stunning!!

My new husband and I were thrilled to have Jessica Weischedel from 283 Photography capture our special day. We know Jess and we have seen her work, so we knew she would do an incredible job, but we had so much fun working with her as she took photos for the wedding. She was so animated and enthusiastic and game for our various pose ideas (even though she was 8 months pregnant!). She is clearly passionate about the work she does.

My bridesmaids and I got ready at my apartment and there was not really a good place to hang the dress to get nice photos, Jess was like, "no problem!" and wrapped the dress up in a sheet and took it outside to take some photos against a tree! She was also very patient with my other friends/family members who kept getting in her way, trying to snap their own photos.

She was professional in her preparation procedures and responsive to our emails and questions.

I would recommend her to anybody needing special event photos!

One of my best friends is a photographer and she highly recommended that my husband and I choose 283 Photographer. I trusted her advice and we couldn't have been more pleased!! Jessica, along with her second photographer, Rachel, were amazing to work with!! Jessica is very down-to-earth and makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Our entire wedding party was impressed with how great our photographers were. The guys had a great time with Rachel during the day and the ladies had an awesome time with Jessica!

Jessica had unique and fun ideas for pictures as well. It's only been a few weeks since our wedding, so I haven't see our pictures yet, but I know they are going to be perfect.

If you’re looking for a photographer that is creative, flexible, fun, unique and professional, then 283 Photography should be your choice!!

Jess with 283 photography was so fun to work with for our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures! She has tons of unique ideas so that your photos are like all the photos you typically see. She is organized and flexible and works with you to make sure that you get images that you really want to. And she loves doggies, so our puppy was more than welcome for all of our photos, which made it just that much better! She really goes above and beyond to make it the best of the best!

Jessica is an extremely talented photographer and my husband and I couldn't be more pleased with the wedding photos. Not only is she talented but she is professional and is very good in a "crisis." We had a major hiccup on the day of our wedding which changed the timeline drastically providing for a significantly smaller window of time for taking photos. She somehow managed to get everything done by responding quickly. All of this was accomplished without compromising the quality of the photos. I would most definitely recommend her.

I first spotted Jessica's photography at a family friends wedding and I instantly loved her work so when it came time to find a photograper for my own engagement pics and wedding it was hard to look at anyone elses. I live in Iowa so it made more since to choose a photographer from Iowa rather than South Dakota but I just couldn't do it.....nothing else compared. We traveled to South Dakota to have our engagement pictures taken and met Jessica for the first time she made us feel very comfortable and our engagement pictures were amazing! She then came to Iowa when it was time for our wedding and she did not miss one detail about the wedding and the reception. Every single picture is perfect! There is no other photographer I would ever recomend she is soooo wonderful! Also I was nervous about doing the "first look" before the ceremony and Jessica answered all of my questions and helped me decide on whether we should do it or not. Anytime I had questions or emailed her her responses were very quick and helpful! If you are looking for a photographer and you are near or far away Jessica is the one I would say to get you will not be dissapointed and she is worth every penny! The pictures are the most important part of the entire day.....it is what will keep your memories going so if you want someone who can capture every part of that day perfectly 283 Photography is the way to go!!!!

We could not have asked for more from the photographer for my daughter's wedding. Jessica captured the feel and essance of the day. The wedding day can be such a blur for the couple so to have such great pictures to look back on has been a great joy. It amazes me that she caught some very special moments that she only had a couple seconds to capture...she was so aware of what to capture and we did not even know she was at the wedding..she did such a great job of being invisiable but got done what we needed. When my daughter got engaged we were aware of the disappointments/stress that so many people we knew had with their wedding photographers. We are so thankful to say that is not our story with 283 Photography. Thank You so very much for the joy that your pictures have brought my daughter and her husband and us.

My husband and I decided to go with Jessica at 283 Photography after viewing her photos that she took of a friends’ wedding. We noticed her incredible eye for unique shots that we felt, no local photographer would have been able to provide for us. We booked her a year and a half in advance before our wedding, and have had the privilege of getting to know her ever since.

Jessica took our engagement session pictures in Sioux Falls and immediately made my husband and I feel comfortable in front of the camera. One of our favorite things about her was how she was all about the two of us feeling relaxed and looking “normal” with each other.

We just got married two weeks ago and I can’t say how many times I heard how great our photographer was. The entire wedding party raved about how easy going she is and how they loved the “out of the ordinary” shots that she’d take. We’ve only seen a sneak peek of our wedding day photos, but if they even come close to how perfect our engagement session pictures were, we’ll be extremely satisfied!

If you’re looking for a photographer that does exquisite work with making each and EVERY photo look it’s best, Jessica is your person. She’s kind, professional, and has a unique eye for an unforgettable photo!

Jessica was incredible to work with and I would recommend her to anyone I know needing pictures of any kind! She was always available to answer any questions I had throughout the entire wedding process. I never had to wait longer than 24 hours to hear back from her. On our wedding day she definitely helped me stay calm as things were running a little late, she told me not to worry. She truly has a passion and an incredible talent for what she does. She never seemed pushy throughout the day and was open to any ideas we had. Jessica captured the moments and details to tell the whole story of our day. We never noticed her during the ceremony or at the reception, she blended in and did not need to be in our face at all that day. In going through all 900+ of our wedding photos my husband and I relived our big day and noticed details that we had missed. She also captured hundreds of different expressions from not only the bride and groom but wedding party, family members and the guests. 283 photography is AMAZING! We LOVED having her and thankful for all she did for us on our wedding day!

Jessica at 283 Photography was flexible, professional, and thorough. But, more importantly, she cared about the photographs she provided for us. She spent endless hours editing our photos, and they turned out to be more beautiful than we could have hoped for! She captured many special moments of our wedding day, that we will be lucky enough to remember through her pictures for the years to come! Jessica from 283 Photography is so amazing! Worth EVERY PENNY!! My husband and I are so happy with the way our wedding photos and our engagment session went. She is very sweet, easy going, very flexible with her schedule and gets back to you very fast if you have any questions!! She took our photos for our wedding and took pictures I never even thought of. She was so caring and kind to all my family at our wedding as well..and just let us do our thing. :) I would hire her to do my family pictures, any events and hopefully maternity if we ever get back to Sioux Falls for that! You WILL be very happy chosing her! Again..go with 283 Photography..you wont be disappointed!!

Jessica is the best photographer that I have ever worked with. She is friendly, she is accommodating, she is professional, and she really has an eye for photography. I was so happy with all of our pictures, both engagement and wedding. She worked with the other vendors from our wedding to make sure we didn't have to worry about a thing. We really built a relationship with her, and I look forward to having her be our photographer for the future. I would choose nobody else.

Jessica was absolutely amazing! She was so sweet, fun, and calmed me when I was a little anxious about having my picture taken (I hate pictures!). I also believe that she is truly passionate about her job, which was amazing... I didn't feel at all like she couldn't wait to be done or didn't want to be there. In fact, due to weather, Jessica stayed longer than planned at the reception to get some shots that we couldn't get done outside. I highly recommend 283 Photography!

283 photography was one of the best choices I made in wedding planning. From the moment we started our engagement shoot, I knew we had made the right decision. Jessica was the perfect balance of being laid back and flexible, while still directing the shoot. Jessica was VERY responsive and the quality speaks for themselves. The pictures are gorgeous. She was very very good to work with and very flexibile.
I have worked with many photographers because one daughter is in Entertainment and I can tell you Jessica was and is VERY good. When we had questions, she answered them immediately and she was at the hair salon on time and ready to go and also at the wedding and reception. I would suggest that you book a head of time so you are lucky enough to get her. She is open to all your ideas and plus she has many to share if you are wanting help with ideas of some pictures.
When you are busy making sure everything is in place before the wedding Jessica is excellent on having you give her the itinerary of what is happening and who will be at the wedding etc and you dont have to stress about if the photographer is going to be there....she is there early and ready to go. Not only is that something really good, but the pictures speak for themselves...very BEAUTIFUL!!!

My family had the pleasure of getting to know Jessica last fall when she photographed our 2 daughters and their future husbands for their engagement. My husband, daughters, and I we totally impressed with Jessica from the moment we met her, even more so when we viewed her website and were blown away when we saw the proofs. They took our breath away! She was able to capture each of the couples perfectly and the special moments in their lives. We all knew that the wedding photos would be wonderful, and as the mother of 2 brides this summer it was such a relief to have one less worry about the weddings.

I didn't cry at the weddings, but am brought to tears evertime I look at the photos that Jessica took of Mary and Andrew's special day. They are so beautiful! Since Katie and Shawn were just married last Friday we haven't had the pleasure of seeing the pictures yet, but I know that we won't be disappointed.

I want to thank Jessica from the bottom of my heart as does the rest of our family for all she did to capture the special moments of our daughter's weddings. Jessica has a very creative eye. She makes a pair of shoes look like a work of art. She can catch a twinkle in an eye and the love that shines through each look of the bride and groom. She made everyone feel so special and at ease. It was a joy to have her be a part of our special days. It truly felt like she was part of our family.

If I was able to give Jessica 100 stars for her rating I would. She was so kind and worked so hard. We couldn't have asked for anything more! Thank you so much Jessica! We have and will continue to give your name out to everyone who is looking for a photographer. When our 2 sons get married we will be telling their future wives we have a wonderful photographer for their weddings and when we're blessed with grandchildren, we will be calling you to take their first photos!

When I planned my wedding, we knew right away that we needed to have 283 photography take our pictures. We had a date set in September that would work best for everyone else that we wanted to be involved in our big day, but 283 photography was booked. So, we decided to change our date to a day where she could be present and everyone else would have to deal with it. She, Jessica, took our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures and they turned out AMAZING! I love her photos because they aren't the "cookie-cutter" photos that everyone else takes. She improvizes based on her vision, which I completely trust and, in the end, I got pictures that will last me a lifetime that we all love! I HIGHLY recommend 283 photography to any brides out there looking and to anyone in general requesting quality photos!

Jess is AMAZING to work with. Seriously. My fiance and I had actually gone with a different photographer for our engagement pics and ended up firing her b/c of her lack of professionalism, responsiveness, and value for cost. Jess' photos are WAY above par - she has SO much talent and has SUCH an eye for detail, she's sure to catch all those little moments you will miss on your wedding day...b/c it's your wedding day and you're busy with a lot of things! If I could give a 10/5 I would. Jess has been so fantastic to work with and her pictures are so awesome...I recommend her without reservation. I am so glad & my husband and I decided to use Jessica with 283 Photography. She was easy to get in touch with, eager to learn about us, and listened to our preferences. Jessica has a true passion for photography and it is visible in her work. Jessica and I met once before our engagement session and once before our wedding. She asked where we would want to be photographed and gave additional ideas on fun locations. In the meeting before our wedding, she wanted names of everyone important in our families and we made a game plan to move swiftly through our large group shots and limited time. Jessica kept busy on the day of the wedding and got every detail shot that I wanted and didn't have to request (grooms gift, flowers, Bride robe, etc). She captured candid shots throughout the wedding and reception. All of our images turned out fabulous! I highly recommend 283 Photography!

I have only good things to say about Jessica and 283 Photography! From the moment we contacted her, Jessica has always been the most thoughtful and kind vendor. She was so fun and relaxed during our engagement shoot and just continued with that feel throughout our planning and wedding day. My husband and I felt so comfortable around her which really helped get great shots! We met with her individually several times before the wedding and she totally just listened to what we wanted for our big day. We have had so many people rave about wedding pictures and I honestly can't get over how she was able to capture so many details and emotions of the day. It did take almost 7 weeks to get all of the pictures back (which was just a little longer than she first told us) but Jessica was great about keeping us updated (called and e-mailed) and it was totally worth the wait! You could tell she really took time and care with each photo. Jessica is amazingly talented, so sweet and genuine, and we couldn't have picked a better photographer to capture our wedding day :)

I looked for a photographer for months before choosing 283 Photography and I am glad I did because Jessica was a great fit for our wedding! Jessica thoroughly answered all my questions and worked closely with us through timely email correspondence which was so helpful since we were planning the wedding from out of state. On the wedding day Jessica made us feel very at ease because she knew what she was doing and guided us along through all the photo ops. She is so nice and really wants to make the day perfect for the bride and groom. Everyone in our wedding party enjoyed her and thought she was so sweet! The pictures turned out great and she took the time to edit each one of them to make the colors pop or soften the picture to make it very pretty and romantic. She really did an awesome job! I recommend Jessica because she is easy to work with, knows her stuff and is a great photographer!

We had a great experience with Jessica. She took fun, unusal shots that really set our album apart. She listened to all our suggestions and offered creative ideas that turned out great. She made us feel special throughtout the process. I highly recommend using her for your wedding!

This photographer captured some amazing pictures! We did a ton of research to find the best one for the price and she was awesome. She was on time and ready for action, and even made sure to get in all the pictures we had personally wanted. Whether wedding or engagement, I would highly recommend 283.
