Thank you 24 Carrots!!!!!

Man, I cannot speak highly enough of 24 Carrots.
First off, their food is DELICIOUS. We went a little out of the box for our choices (ex: green papaya salad, swordfish instead of typical salmon, mostly vegetarian passed apps), and our guests were all floored with how amazing it all was. Seriously, food was one of our big important things, and the quality for the value is outstanding.
We worked with Morgan and she was incredible. Very sweet, responsive, patient, and she also helped us work through a really difficult change and made it work for everyone! She really made such a stressful time so easy to navigate. Her team on the day-of was fantastic as well. Everyone was so friendly and I never heard of anyone wanting for anything, only how incredible everything was.
24 Carrots was a very big part of making our wedding dreams come true. So glad we chose them, and you will be too!!!

Ps. my advice to any couple getting married: treat those as you'd like to be treated. Of course this process is stressful but if you are patient and ask nicely, you might be surprised how happy people are to help you!

Two postponements later, 24 carrots made our wedding perfect

After booking our wedding at Ole Hanson Beach Club for April 2020, we postponed our wedding twice. 24 Carrots was super helpful along the way and totally willing to postpone without giving us a hard time. A year and a half later 24 Carrots made our wedding day absolutely perfect. Elizabeth and Nasime were there to answer my questions, and rolled with the punches during my multiple changes. The food that they catered the day of was absolutely great. They made sure that the bride and good got plenty of delicious snacks from cocktail hour that we missed due to photos. Thank you to the staff of 24 carrots and Elizabeth and Nasime for making sure we had an incredible wedding!

Best wedding + event caterers!

My husband and I had our wedding at Huntington Bay Club on October 9, 2020. It was the most MAGICAL day - thanks to 24 Carrots and the Huntington Bay Team.

Leading up to our wedding day, the planning was quite simple! We toured the venue and locked in a contract. Shelby kept constant communication with us and accommodated all of our requests.

Shelby met the girls first thing the morning of our event to make sure we were all settled and ready for the day. She checked in periodically and made sure her team had everything handled per the diagrams and orders we locked in prior.

Not only was the set-up and decor 5 Star, but the food was 5 Star too!

At cocktail hour, we offered tray passed Vegetable Crudites, Roquefort Cheese Puff Pastry's (YUM!), Teriyaki Chicken Skewers, and Ahi Tuna Tartare Tacos. We decided to offer a buffet dinner for ease of service and to create a casual experience for our guests! We selected the Luau Buffet which included: baby spinach salad with mandarin oranges, macaroni salad (upgrade), Hawaiian rolls, tender slow-braised short ribs, ginger soy glazed salmon, jasmine rice, and Asian stir-fried vegetables! Dinner was SOOOO AMAZING and our guests are still talking about it. (Absolutely delicious!)

After dinner, we opened up dancing & offered late night snacks and dessert. We had a Nitrogen Ice Cream station which was a total hit! Not only was there ice cream (the bride's favorite), but it offered a little show too! On a beautiful station, we offered mini cheesecake bites, strawberry eclairs, dark chocolate mousse cups and mango-lime parfaits. In addition to dessert, we offered tray passed mini corndogs, onion rings and grilled cheese with tomato soup shooters.

WE WERE IN AW WITH HOW GOOD THE FOOD WAS! I have worked in the event industry providing food and beverage at multiple resorts and so expectations were high. The food provided at our menu tasting was EXACTLY what was provided at our wedding and so there were no surprises.

We appreciate the team at 24 Carrots so much and hope to work with them again in the future!

With 24 Carrots, there's always a way!

Planning a wedding in 2020 is not for the faint of heart. But my husband and I were determined to keep our date, and 24 Carrots made that happened. I truly don't think we would have been able to have our special day, had it not been for Sarah and the rest of the 24 Carrots team.

Every phone call we got in the months leading up to our wedding was pretty much filled with bad news, unless they were from Sarah. She was as determined to make our wedding happen as we were, which was both calming and encouraging. She made any necessary changes and adaptions on her end, and was extremely accommodating as we made many changes on our end. Through many tears of spring 2020, I always got off the phone with Sarah smiling.

Whether you are planning an adjusted Covid ceremony, or a full blown wedding down the road, the 24 Carrots team will be there to support you and make your dreams come true!

Delicious wedding food

We had our wedding at The Colony House, a 24 Carrots venue. The food was amazing and the service was excellent! The menu options are virtually limitless with 24 Carrots. They truly do amazing work. Many of our guests told us how much they liked the food we served and we agree! The staff was very friendly and we had our own waiter assigned to us to make sure we got to eat and had drinks. Before we sat down at our sweetheart table, they had delivered our drinks and hors oeuvres. They brought our food out at the very beginning of dinner service to ensure we got to enjoy it. Very tasty! Highly recommended!

The best wedding food imaginable!

I wish 24 Carrots had a physical restaurant we could go to because I’m going to be dreaming about how delicious the food was at our wedding for years to come! When it came time to choose our menu with them we had our local friends come over and do a March Madness style bracket to decide on appetizers because they had SO many delicious options it was difficult to choose! There would have been no losers, but winding up with the Roscoe Chicken and Waffle Sliders and Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup dippers were amongst some of our best victories. And as far as the main course went—many of our guests told us it was the best entrees they’d ever had at a wedding. Nothing was “basic” or “boring”, each part of the meal had unique spins on old classics that were delicious, well presented, cooked to perfection, and tailored when needed to be for various guests’ dietary restrictions. 24 Carrots was so flexible and accommodating and we would definitely recommend them for all your catering needs! But seriously, please let us come eat your food again, we miss it.

The Best Around!

24 Carrots is the best around, no question. The food was delicious and service was incredible. Our bar service was also through 24 Carrots and guests said that they were fantastic as well. Very accommodating of special menu requirements and the tasting was so fun! Definitely would recommend them!

The best wedding food ever!

My husband and I never wanted a fancy formal dinner. We had a vision of a fun, laid back, brunch-style summer wedding. Thankfully 24K has an AMAZING brunch menu. We honestly couldn’t decide what to choose. It may have been the hardest decision because everything looked so great! We had our wedding at their Ole Hanson location so we went for their breakfast taco bar and it was a HIT! We also had a mimosa bar as well as a cold brew station. People were raving about the food well after the wedding. Their staff is INCREDIBLE. 5 star service and they go above and beyond to make your day truly special. I was 4 months pregnant during my hot summer wedding and multiple staff members were making sure I was okay during the whole wedding, providing water and snacks throughout the day. You have to go for 24K!

Scrumptious!!!

24 Carrots provided an exception buffet for our guests and everyone was beyond satisfied. The tasting day was super fun and all the options were exceptional making a decision difficult but we were confident we couldn't go wrong. My husband is a big craft beer man so he was a bit disappointed with the beer options but we were otherwise very pleased. The staff were excellent with their service.

Great food

Our food was OUTSTANDING. We have received so many commments about the food and that it was “the best food at a wedding” that people have had.

Absolutely amazing

My husband and I, with the help of our Wedding Planner Aimee Takumi of Confetti Skies, blindly picked our wedding menu from Illinois. We could not have possibly been happier. The food was absolutely fantastic and I've found myself wishing they had a restaurant we could go to almost two months later. I'm so incredibly thankful for the entire 24 Carrots team for taking on our very small private reception. We only had 6 people for dinner and were surprised that they were willing to take on such a small group. All of our servers and our bartender were absolutely fantastic and fit in well, making our private reception feel like an intimate family dinner at home. Of the weddings I've been to, I cant remember ever having had better food than at my own. Thank you to the 24 Carrots team again for all of your hard work and for making our day so special.

Best Steak at a Wedding EVER

The moment we walked into Franciscan Gardens, I knew this was the place we would be getting married! My now husband was very kind in letting me take the reins in most of the planning, and I wanted to have a garden feeling outdoor wedding. The tall greenery of this venue is breathtaking and once the lantern lights go up, the centerpieces glowing, it was honestly the most perfect setting. Melissa and Haley were both very helpful and instrumental on helping us get everything finalized and making revision after revision to the contract. The final meeting to pick all of the little details went really smoothly, they were there for the taste testing, and made sure to answer all of our questions and concerns along the way. As far as the catering… We still have people telling us this was the best steak they had ever had at a wedding! During the tasting we were suspicious how they could make all of the food taste as delicious as it did for just the two of us for over 100 people but I must say that it was (all bias aside) probably the most delicious menu ever! The catering and bartending staff was perfect and even dedicated one waiter to the bride and groom for the whole evening to keep us boozed up and partying all night without having to stand in line for a drink or a bite. Thank you everyone!!

24 Carrots was our caterer for our wedding on March 9, 2018 at Rancho Las Lomas and they were so exceptional! Amanda was our Event Designer and she was so professional and helpful. Amanda quickly answered all of our emails and she was so incredibly nice! Amanda was our go to person at 24 Carrots from the beginning and I would recommend her as your Event Designer if you are considering 24 Carrots.

For our cocktail hour, we had 4 different hors d'oeuvres: 1. Fig, Herbed Cheese, and Glazed Pecan on Belgian Endive Petals, 2. Foreset Mushroom and Goat Cheese Tartlets, 3. The 24 Carrot Slider which had Brie, Truffle Honey, Bacon-Fig Jam, Roasted Garlic Aioli And Caramelized Apples, and 4. Chicken Yakitori. We received SO many compliments from our guests about the hors d'oeuvres (especially the 24 Carrot Slider). Everything tasted so delicious and my husband and I were pleasantly surprised to see that there were plenty of hors d'oeuvres to go around. All of our guests were able to get a couple of hors d'oeuvres each which was great.

For our dinner, we opted for a buffet. We had 2 salads: Simple Mixed Greens, and a Warm Goat Cheese Salad. Our 2 meats were Seared North Atlantic Salmon and a Pan-Seared Hangar Steak. Our 2 sides were Mashed Potatoes and Broccolini Almandine. Just like the hors d'oeuvres, dinner was a huge hit with all of our guests. We really appreciated that 24 Carrots also had an option for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options for some of our guests that had diet restrictions. We just had to let Amanda know ahead of time so that they could plan accordingly.

24 Carrots is a great company to work with and they took care of everything for us on our wedding day. They set up the ceremony space, cocktail hour, and reception space. Everything looked perfect on our special day.

Yum, yum, OMG YUM. 24 Carrots - thank you. You were so flexible and creative when it came to our limited budget and our vision for the evening. Working with the team at 24 Carrots was not only easy, but actually a pleasure. Kimberlyn and her staff were able to pull off an evening of delicious food and fulfilled all my insane requests. We used them for our cocktail hour for passed appetizers, and hired the staff to pass out In N Out Burgers that came paired with french fries from 24 during the reception dinner. They made sure that we (the bride and groom) were never without a bite to eat (the first food to come out of all types), a full drink and that we were always happy with the flow of the evening. They have so many food choices on their menu that you cannot go wrong with them whether you want a plated dinner, buffet, passed appetizers, bartenders, dessert bars, gluten-free menu, vegan - the works! If I had a larger budget I would have incorporated more of their delicious offerings into my reception. Bonus - my wedding was in Camarillo (Ventura County) and they drove all the way out from Orange County to provide their service! I loved everything about this catering company and will use them for many future events!

We are so very pleased and thankful of the beautiful, creativeness and extreme professionalism. My parents were super particular about the Catering for the event, but got very comfortable and settle once we had the meeting and came on board with 24 Carrots. 24 Carrots is the best all around; extremely attentive, kind, professional staff, and the food is so good! Not only did they work with our limited budget, they agreed to let me offer my guests an entree choice between chicken and beef, and had no problem with eliminating food allergens from the menu.
At the tasting I went in prepared to not eat that much, but that flew out the window when the hor d'eourves were presented. The food presentation is beautiful. The chefs remembered to leave out dairy and nut products in the recipes which made me like 24 Carrots even more-can't even count the times I have had to send food back! If you want the best at your wedding go with 24 Carrots!

Let me start by saying that after diving into the wedding planning process and reading reviews, I was quite determined to select a venue by 24 Carrots and I'm SO GLAD I did. I am not one that was particularly excited about the planning process and 24 Carrots made everything extremely smooth and pleasant. We chose to hold our reception at the Colony House and it was absolutely perfect for us. The cocktail hour was outside and the dinner and festivities were inside. I wanted a venue that was warm and inviting and really geared towards everyone having a great time without feeling stuffy or too serious--Colony House allowed for just that! From the minute I walked in, I knew it would be just right.
We worked with Nicole who could not have been more awesome! She was extremely accessible and responded to any questions in a timely manner. It's stressful time with so many moving parts but my mind was always at ease with Nicole and the 24 Carrots staff. We had several special requests to work around some food allergies in our families--there was no problem or complaints about these special accommodations.
Now the food--We ended up selecting the 18K package with worked well for us. We went with the chicken baklava lollipops, caprese skewers, brie with mango chutney in puff pastry, and braised short rib and brie; compressed salad; and entree choice of tri tip, grouper with mango salsa, or spaghetti squash succotash (I think that's what it's called). We also had late night snacks of sliders (which I was told by more than one person were the best sliders they've ever had) and grilled cheese with tomato soup shooter. Dessert was a variety of mini desserts--key lime tart, chocolate pot de creme, salted caramel tarts, cheesecake, and creme brulee spoons. We have VERY picky eaters in our family and to my surprise, everyone loved the food! The integrity of the food is not lost from the tasting to the event. I will definitely be using 24 Carrots in the future!!

We had 24 Carrots cater our wedding at Rancho Las Lomas in August 2014. Our experience was absolutely phenomenal! From the bacon wrapped scallops to the fig and mascarpone purses during cocktail hour to the excellent prime rib and salmon during the reception, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine and just raved about it! This was a huge compliment since we had guests from all over the US, Spain, Germany and Switzerland with all different types of tastes. The service was impeccable as well. During our cocktail hour they followed my groom and I around, making sure we always had something to drink or eat. Did I mention all the smiles when they whipped out the mini hamburgers, hot dogs, and french fries for our late night dance party?!

Compliments galore! My guests could not believe the quality and tastiness in their food, 24Carrots made a delicious meal from start to finish! They were very easy to communicate with and offered a wide variety of ideas and selections for appetizers, entree's and desserts. I expressed to them the importance in the type of food I was looking for and they were more than happy to make my wishes come true!

They were even flexible with our tasting schedule dates as we had to coordinate with some difficulty since our wedding took place on the other side of the country. It was a pleasure doing business with them!

My guests were sad to know it was a catering company and not a restaurant that they could visit again to entice in their food for casual occasion.

We got married at Rancho Las Lomas and when you get married there, you have to book their caterer which was 24 carrots. We were so glad that we did! They exceeded our expectations through the whole process. The tasting was a highlight of the wedding planning process. Their facility is beautiful and they brought out the most delicious food for us to taste. This was not typical wedding food. The day of our wedding everything was tasty and stayed at good temperature. Best of all, Nicole was such a delight to work with. She was so bubbily, informative, genuine...awesome! She is the reason for 24carrots success!!!

We got married at Franciscan Gardens in San Juan Capistrano (owned by 24 Carrots). I have always heard great things about 24 carrots and I see their van everywhere, so I was excited to work with them for our wedding day! Our tasting blew us away. Every single thing we tried was amazing. We had a hard time choosing what to serve at our wedding. We also had some vegan and gluten-free guests, and 24 carrots was able to make them their own dishes. The food at our wedding was amazing! We received so many compliments on how yummy it was... Which we all know is rare at weddings! The next time I throw a big party, I will definitely look in to using them again!

Where do I begin. This company and all its employees ROCK! I was married at Rancho Las Lomas on November 11, 2012 and the venue required us to use 24 carrots... At first, this made me nervous. Until I started meeting with my other wedding vendors (flower, makeup, etc.) and they ALL raved about the food and service. This made me feel really good. When we went to have our tasting...I was blown away by the food. During our wedding, we had soo many compliments from our family and friends on how great the staff was.

As most of you have probably attended weddings in the past, a lot of the times you see the bride and groom not get to eat. The staff made sure we got our reception snacks and made sure we were served first! So I got to eat!!

I highly recommend this caterer!

So many people told us that our wedding food was the best wedding food they ever had! The meal was so perfectly prepared it was hard to believe it was served buffet style. The appetizers were incredible, and the tray passed service was great. The staff is really polite and good at their job. The tasting was incredible and made us feel really special, I think Heather conducted mine, and she was a complete sweetheart. I could not have asked for better catering and I'm glad that we chose 24 carrots and Franciscan Gardens.

Can you say amazing wedding food!!! Most people leave wedding thinking that the food was either mediocre, boring, the typical, or COLD, with 24 Carrots you get the complete opposite. My family asked if we could have the same food from our wedding on Christmas Day, that’s how good it was.

My husband and I wanted something different than the typical wedding food, so we did stations of various things (mashed potato bar (served in martini glasses), salad bar, pasta bar (served in martini glasses), and prime rib carving bar). This turned out better than I had expected. I was worried there would be lines; there wasn’t, I was worried people would think it’s weird or not get full; everyone left stuffed because they ate more than they needed to because it was so good. The presentation alone with 24 Carrots is top notch. The way our cocktail appetizers were served was beautiful, our tray passed ceremony champagne turned out fabulous, everything…I could go on and on!

24 Carrots is not the cheapest cater in town but you definitely get what you pay for. The staff OMG, they are amazing, everyone and everything was taken care of. Us (the bride and groom) along with our bridal party were pretty much waited on hand and foot. If we needed food, a drink anything we were always the first served and were never empty handed. We worked with Kimberlyn and she made everything so easy and was always quick to respond and accommodate us. Thanks for everything; we will for sure be using them again. Maybe have our exact wedding food for our 1 year anniversary!

Our menu was a bit out of the ordinary :-) We wanted gourmet meals, but miniaturized so we could give our guests variety during our cocktail style reception, but still keep it classy and make sure they were as full as they would have been with a "sit down" meal. I also wanted an ice cream bar in lieu of a wedding cake desert and giant soft pretzels for our To-Go package for our guests. 24 Carrots didn't hesitate to accommodate my special requests... they immediately threw some ideas around and we had a wonderful tasting that was exactly what we pictured. The day of our wedding, the food was just as amazing as our tasting. One of our dishes was mashed potato martinis with braised beef... one of my guests, very enthusiastically, told me that the mashed potatoes tasted like they were "kissed from heaven." I still, months later, hear from everyone there that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Other than the potatoes, the other highlight was the Fish and Chips in a paper cone. Everything was a hit! To top it off, 24 Carrots supplied my gloom and I with To-Go Boxes of all our dishes to take with us to our hotels. I was so happy that I don't have one of those stories, which you hear from your friends all the time, of going through a drive-thru on your wedding night :-)

Thank you 24 Carrots for the EXQUISITE service and food! We first had the pleasure of going into 24 Carrots main office to sample the foods for our wedding~ The staff at 24 Carrots couldn't have been nicer, and the food was just absolutely delicious!! It was a blast selecting our menu for the wedding :-) The whole staff were so professional, and were very attentive to our guests! My husband and I were married in May at Rancho Las Lomas. As soon, as we had picked the venue we were immediately in contact with Lynn at 24 Carrots. From the moment I spoke to Lynn, I knew everything would be perfect! Throughout the planning process, she was in complete contact with me, and I love her for responding to each and every one of my emails! She never made me feel like I was bothering her, or that my questions were silly.
We were on a tight budget! Lynn helped us stay within our budget, with still having everything we wanted! Proposals were sent via email, in a breakdown format, so you could see the exact cost per item.
The food was amazing, and yes my husband and I were able to eat dinner! They served us first! They even brought appetizers, and drinks to us while taking pictures! Our guests raved and still do about how wonderful the food was, and how they loved the appetizers! We had fun appetizers, grilled cheese, and tomato soup, shrimp cocktail in a martini glass, and ahi tuna in a wonton spoon! We had a sit down dinner. We had three different entrees. Each item was on the standard 24 Carrot menu, however they let us change a few things to the entrees to personalize them to our taste.
The staff was amazing; Lynn of course will forever hold a special place in my heart for making this all happen! The servers, the bartenders, etc., were so helpful and nice. They were pleasant to all of my guests, and assisted with my grandmother who is handicapped. Making sure, she had something to drink and was comfortable. That to me gives the staff 10 stars! The staff did an amazing job with a quick setup, and flip from the ceremony to dinner to after hours, which made it so easy for my planner and florist to setup for each event! Lynn and 24 Carrots thank you for making our wedding day so magical. If I ever have a big event I will be sure to call you! Thank you! Kristen

24 Carrots is an amazing catering company. We ended up "having to" use them as our caterer because we were getting married at Rancho Las Lomas, but what a blessing it was to have them cover our catering! We worked with Nicole, and she was so friendly, professional, and skilled throughout our vendor relationship with her. She handled everything down to the most minute details, incorporated all of our wants, and made excellent suggestions in cases where we weren't sure what we wanted. Our wedding coordinator even approached us and commented that 24 Carrots was the best catering company she'd ever worked with. Thanks Nicole!

Overall, 24 Carrots was awesome! I was a bit worried at first that people would think that the Mexican food was cheesy, but EVERYONE complimented me, although I didn't make it, on how great the food was! We didn't get to have any of the hor'devours but I know from the tasting that they were amazing! We did get to sit down and enjoy our dinner. They had a team that plated and served our dinner, and even a team that went up to the suites to get the bridal party drinks and hor'devours. Everything tasted amazing. We did the Pablano Chicken which was nice and moist. We had buffet service and it looked like people were moving through the lines pretty quick. All in all- the service and food was great! 24 Carrots owns the venue so you have to use them for your food, but it's not a bad thing. They may be a little pricey, but you are getting good quality food and it all tasted great!

First of all, I wanted to try everything on the menu. After hours of salivating over the entire menu, we were able to narrow down our choice to the Southern Hospitality buffet. It was a different choice than I had ever seen at a wedding and we love southern food. The food at the tasting was so good and they let you take home the leftovers!! On the actual day, the food tasted exactly like the food at the tasting (which I'm sure it hard to do when cooking for masses). All of our guest still talk about the food and say it was the best wedding food...many even went back for seconds! Absolutely delicious!!!

24 Carrots did a fabulous job. They stood out to me because they were hip, friendly, and special. Food was one of the most important things for my wedding, so I had to try out several places to make sure that my guests would have good food. 24 Carrots laid out a great tasting menu for me, and it was hard to not choose them because their food was so yummy! We had various meals throughout the night, including late night snacks for the guests, and the guests really appreciated that. The guests complimented me on the food, and also complimented me on the great wait service. I have also recommended 24 carrots to cater my company events now. So, I would definitely recommend them to other couples.

There is absolutely nothing I can complain about when it comes to 24 Carrots. They are awesome to work with! My event specialist, Kimberlyn, was the sweetest person to work with not to mention super efficient, responsive and professional. She was a dream to work with - I'm sure the rest of 24 Carrots staff is just as great but if you get to work with Kimberlyn you will not regret it!

Our guests loved the food and service at the wedding - they are still raving about it! After the wedding, we saw so many photos of the FOOD on our friends' and families' Facebook pages! Everything about the event ran smoothly...at least to my knowledge...and if any issues did come up they must have handled everything asap b/c my hubby and I were never bothered or stressed out about anything catering related the entire night. I believe 24 Carrots is great at handling every last detail. They are a bit of an investment but they truly handle so many details and aspects of the event plus the fact that they are so pleasant to work with makes it worth the investment.

We worked very closely with Jami at 24 Carrots. She was FABULOUS. When we came for the first tasting, before we met her, there was a different woman (no longer there) and a different chef (no longer there). We were a bit dissatisfied with the tasting, but as soon as we contacted Jami, she quickly assured us we could come back and have another tasting. The second time around, we were thrilled with the results- the new chef is superb, and the appetizers, main course, and desserts were absolutely spectacular. Furthermore, the food was even better at the wedding. You wouldn't know they were cooking for 150 people!

Working with Jami was so incredibly easy. She responded to every email very quickly and efficiently, always with a positive and pleasant vibe. She had many helpful suggestions, and coordinated beautifully with all the involved vendors.

Finally, the staff of 24 Carrots on the wedding day far surpassed our expectations. They took great care of us, the bride and groom, from start to finish- from having a plate of appetizers and champagne ready for us at a remote location as we took pictures right after the ceremony, to having all our untouched food wrapped for a late night snack. We had an incident at our cocktail hour where some of the guests placed themselves right at the entrance where the waiters with appetizers emerged, leaving the majority of guests without food. The waiters recognized this and quickly reorganized. They cunningly outsmarted our guests by taking other routes to reach the rest of the hungry guests- WAY TO GO 24 CARROTS! :) This type of response is just an example of thoughtfuless and attentiveness that 24 Carrots gave us throughout the day and the planning process.

Let me say that 24 Carrots is the best catering company that I have ever worked with or eaten food from! The food was mouth watering and the service was exceptional. I fell in love with their "candy bar cupcakes" at my tasting and had dreams about them for a week. Their presentation of their delicious food is also amazing, very creative and the perfect extra something that we were looking for.

OH MY GOSH- 24 Carrots did the most amazing job at my wedding!

I worked with Jami Willis pretty much exclusively, and she was amazing. She always got back to me, had great ideas, and made everything happen seamlessly.

ALL of my guests said it was the best food they'd EVER had at a wedding- and people were blown away by the service!

My mom said the thing she loved most about them was that it looked like they didn't even break a sweat! People were amazed to learn that they had set up a full kitchen and cooked everything on site.

All the food was fantastic- hot food came hot, cold food was cold, the presentation was amazing, and I loved how Jami worked with us to switch up the menu.

I did family-style service, and it was just pulled off perfectly. Short ribs, chicken, mashed potatoes, veggie lasagne- I wanted all the classics but done elegantly and with a twist- and 24 Carrots made it happen!

I can't say enough about them- and Jami in particular!

PS- after looking far and wide for great cupcakes, we did a tasting with 24 Carrots and decided to use them for dessert after all. Their desserts were incredible, and they even packed up the leftovers and put them in our fridge! (TRY the chocolate peanut butter pies!!!).

24 carrots catered our wedding last month and they were amazing! from the very beginning (which was a year and a half ago) to the day of, heather (and the 24 carrots team) was great and on top of things. knowing that the food was very important part to us, she really went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. everything was so delicious! we are still getting compliments from guests about how tasty everything was. the wait staff was really great as well. they were very attentive and were always making sure my husband and i were OK with drinks and food. they helped make our wedding so special (and stress free) for us and our guest. thank you so much 24 carrots (and heather!), you're the best!

24 Carrots is hands down THE BEST catering company in Orange County! We used 24 Carrots for our wedding this past March, and this post will never be able to express how amazing they are. Here are some of the top reasons to choose them as a caterer for your next event:

1. THE FOOD - Seems obvious, but so many caterers don't focus on the quality of their food! Everything at our tasting was delicious!! It's easy to serve delicious food to a couple though...what really impressed us and our guests was the quality of the food at the actual wedding. You hope the food will be the same quality the day of the wedding, but when feeding over a hundred people that can be a challenge for some caterers. Not for 24 Carrots!! Everything...appetizers, salads, main course, late night snacks...was perfect. Served at the appropriate temperatures, excellent taste, great portions. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!!!

2. THE PEOPLE - Kimberlyn Richardson was our event coordinator. Words can't express how awesome Kimberlyn is! Her focus is catering, but beyond making sure the catering and rentals are perfect, she is so nice and truly cares about the people she's working with. She goes the extra mile to make sure you're happy and well taken care of. Additionally, all the staff at 24 Carrots (servers, bartenders, chefs, even people who work in the office/accounting areas) were extremely professional, nice, and treated us very well!

3. PRESENTATION - Their food is plated and garnished so beautifully. Really shows the pride they take in their work. The great thing is that it doesn't just stop there...LOVED that when they served our guests dinner all people at the table were served at the exact same time. This made everyone feel so special...exactly as it would be presented at a high end restaurant.

4. OVERALL VALUE - 24 Carrots is definitely not the cheapest catering company in the area and I am huge on value, so in the beginning I struggled with pricing. In the end though, it's clear to me that hiring 24 Carrots is worth far more than what you pay. We did not have to worry about one single detail in regards to catering because we were reassured at every point in the process not just through words, but through actions, that we would be well taken care of. When investing in a major event, this is something you can't put a price on. Combine that with the amazing food, people, and presentation style, and you really can't afford to not hire them. They won't disappoint even the most picky or detail oriented (trust me -- I'm both :) )!!!

THE BEST!! 24 Carrots Catering is by far the best....The food presentation was incredible and delicious!! The event coordinator, Jami Willis, goes above and beyond for you, I didn't have to worry about anything with Jami on my side. All my guests were so impressed....They're still talking about how wonderful my Wedding was!!
Also, I was on a pretty tight budget, but they accommodated me, you would have thought I spent 3 times the amount I really did....I planned my Wedding in 6 weeks, you would have never known :)

I dont know where to begin because 24 carrots and especially Laura Burkle meant so much to me...but ill try :)
You would have to know me (the perfectionist) to understand that my review is wholeheartedly honest. Beyond the amazing food that they make and the creative ways in which they serve and display the food, the people that work for them are the warmest, kindest and most caring people. Laura, you have no idea how greatful I am to have met you. I always looked forward to our visits and phone calls (she was my part time therapist LOL). 24 carrots didnt just get the job done; they understood the people we were and made the party as if we ourselves had hosted the wedding at our home.
You wouldn't believe how many people have called me and came up to me at the wedding to tell me how amazing the food and the service was.
Just to give you an example...My husband Seth and I were sitting in the bridal cottage (at Rancho Las Lomas) waiting for the guests to finish the cocktail hour and then find their seats. During that time, two of the servers came to us and asked us what we would like to eat and drink. To some this may sound insignificant, but on the day of my wedding it made me feel like a queen.
Its the little things :)
In addition to the food services, 24 carrots are amazing at invitations. I wish I could post mine to show all of you.
ok ill stop writing... but I recommend 24 carrots for any event and I will definitely be using them again should I ever have a GRAND party.

The very best! The food is amazing!!!!!!!! 24carrots is the most professional group of caters I have come across. I have used them 3 times in the last 8 months for an engagement party, a bridal shower and my daughters reception. Each event was an entirely different menu with a different theme. Each event was raved about by all who attended. Working with Kimberlyn was a dream. She was on top of everything and communicated constantly assuring the end results were exactly what we expected and more!
Their menus are as simple or as complex as you want them with the highest quality food prep and presentation. Very accommodating and flexible to work with. They are a one stop shop as well, with rentals printing services, almost everything you need for your event.

Watching them at my daughters wedding reception (new venue to them) was like watching a Swiss timepiece. They were in such sync due to great organization and management. Especially Kimberlyn...Thanks to all at 24 carrots, you guys are amazing!

I can not even begin to tell what a great team we had for my son's wedding. It was at my home, both service and reception. Kimberlyn Richardson was my contact and she walked the Bride, Groom and myself through every step if the way. I feel that she made sure that we got the most for our money and the best of service.

The team that was sent to our home was beyond wonderful. By 6:30 p.m. I was done, and I took Debbie, our team leader, aside and told her to please take over and make this wonderful. I am still hearing back from our guests as to how these people made sure that their every need was taken care of. Food was taken to my D.J. and bartenders and before I knew it I was sitting with a plate of food in front of me as I missed the buffet line.

Tonight we met a neighbor who have used 24 Carrots in the past and raved about them and when I told them how wonderful our event turned out the said they would be using them for future events.

I can type all night but can not even come close to telling the true value of this group. They came in and I would have to say they handled everything as if it was one of their family getting married.

Don't think twice about using 24 Carrots for your wedding or any event. Lynn is the best! She helped out so much with my wedding at the Newland Barn. She even helped us find the venue! Down to the last detail she was there for everything! The food was amazing! The bridesmaids were asking for seconds before they even finished the first plate! Many people said it was the best wedding food they had ever eaten!

Oh my gosh... we just LOVED our experience with Lynn and 24 Carrots. Like several other couples, we interviewed several other caterers and just weren't impressed until we found 24 Carrots. They really had the quality of food we were seeking, it was delicious and our guests loved it. Most brides don't even eat, but I made sure to eat that night because I wasn't going to miss out. Our experience with Lynn throughout the whole process was perfect, we have no complaints. She and the team were so helpful and made my mother and I feel so at ease throughout the planning process. The service on the wedding day was so amazing... the server dedicated to my husband and I literally chased us down the street as we took photos with our own special plate of appetizers and champagne. It was amazing and the appetizers, which are my favorite part of a meal.... divine! Then as we sat down the gentlemen serving my husband and I did such an incredible job, he catered to our every need and made us feel so special. Lynn, how can I thank you enough... you made the whole night go smoothly... even though we were a little off schedule, you were awesome, providing alternatives and never making me feel worried or rushed. You felt like a friend by the end of the whole thing, after a year of corresponding, tastings, walk thru's, etc. You were amazing. I couldn't be more pleased with the whole experience and if I had to to it again, I would choose 24 Carrots, hands down. They totally exceeded our expectations... which were high :O) Thank you soo much, you were such a huge part of making our wedding day so wonderful. I would recommend 24 Carrots to all future brides!

My fiancee (now-husband!) and I had a very specific vision for our wedding when we began searching for catering vendors last year. He and I are from England and California respectively, but were living in Italy at the time - we wanted to create a menu that really reflected us personally & that showcased our 'foodie' side as well as our cultural backgrounds. We didn't want the same ol' boring 'chicken or beef' kind of wedding - but envisioned doing creative interactive food stations based on our tastes. And, we didn't want a cake, but wanted to do a gourmet imported cheese table with fruits, and a candy buffet. We interviewed a few caterers and none quite 'got it' until we spoke with Lynn Rinek (Who is THE BEST!!!) at 24 Carrots - she completely understood our vision & not only executed it with her team perfectly, but essentially walked through the entire planning experience with us over the past 10 months and made it her vision as well. Our wedding was last Friday night, April 9th and I can honestly say that EVERYTHING went better than we'd even hoped - Lynn was there for us throughout the entire evening, always one step ahead of us. For example, at one point I panicked when I noticed that a guest had brought a date that I'd not anticipated - I was looking for Lynn to see if she could make an extra place setting for his date when she actually found me and said, "Not to worry! I noticed when they came in and it's all handled already - we pulled up an extra chair and made her a place card!" It was incredible! Lynn's coordination allowed me to feel like one of the happiest, most relaxed brides ever - everything ran smoothly, the food was delicious & was prepared to gourmet standards (a FAR cry from the typical 'chicken or beef' kinda' scenario!!) - our guests are still raving about our 'alternative taco martini bar' and 'interactive risotto station'!! I may not have mentioned this, but my career background is actually in event planning and PR Management - I've coordinated events for over 10 years for high-end luxury companies around the globe - and I can honestly say that the job that 24 Carrots and Lynn Rinek did for us is some of the BEST catering in the country, and in fact the world. My only regret is that I'm not getting to still work with them at the moment!! Maybe I'll just need to hand in my resume, I loved their team so much!?! ;-) THANK YOU, LYNN & THE 24 CARROTS TEAM!!! Wow, what can I say? I am still blown away by 24 Carrots--they are absolutely THE best caterers, hands-down! Cornel and I and my family met them in 2007, when they were on a list of four caterers for Rancho Las Lomas, and it was an absolute MUST that we hire them. They blew away the competition. And my family is picky about food--we can be hard to please. But 24 Carrots is not like other catered food--it can compete with some of the best restaurants! It was no surprise to us when they were selected to be the preferred caterer at Rancho--they are simply the best. Our guests could not believe how amazing everything was--people who normally don't like ahi tuna, or coconut shrimp, tasted it and LOVED every bite! Guests told us our food was easily the best they've ever had at a wedding--some even said it was the best filet mignon and halibut they've ever had, period! The quality, and the value, are absolutely worth every penny. Plus, you have Heather and Norm, who are just phenomenal people to work with, and went above and beyond every expectation! Heather went out of her way to please us--it's really been such a joy to work with her. We had to change our wedding date a year into our engagement, and everything flowed so seamlessly! We made several changes to our budget and Heather and Norm accommodated us so easily and effortlessly that at no time did I ever feel stressed. I felt absolutely at ease, knowing we were all in great hands! And that's how you should feel on your wedding day, and in the months leading up to it--you need to trust your caterers and feel confident that they will take care of everything for you. I am not used to being so spoiled, and I feel like I will need to spoil them back, because everything they've done has just been magical, like a dream come true! They took so much stress off me on my wedding day and it felt like I had a wedding planner with their staff. Although they are not the cheapest they are the best value because of the service and extra effort that they put into your event. I can't imagine having done my wedding without their help. 24 Carrots did an outstanding job for us. The ceremony/reception were delayed 1 1/2 hours due to sudden illness and hospitalization of groom's mother, yet 24 Carrots stepped up and handled everything beautifully. All of the food was delicious, beautifully served - guests are still talking about the delicious food and the outstanding service throughout the evening. Can't say enough about their flexibility and reaction to the delay insuring that all of the food was timely and properly served to perfection to our guests. Cannot recommend them enough. Too bad can't rate them higher.

24 Carrots rocks! They go above and beyond "traditional" wedding food! People are still talking about how outstanding all the food was. As the bride & groom, we had a server assigned to us for the night. Anything anyone needed, someone from the 24 Carrots staff was available. The highlight of the night was tray passed mini milk shakes & sweet potato fries while everyone was dancing!

24 Carrots is sooooooooooo yummy! I am getting soooo many compliments from all the guests about how great all the food was. The appetizers during cocktail were super delic- many of the guests told me they ate so much they weren't even hungry for dinner. 24 Carrots definitely takes pride in their commitment to excellence and it shows!

24 Carrots was the preferred caterer for the venue we chose, Rancho Las Lomas. I was a little apprehensive at first not knowing their pricing and offerings, but I was immediately relieved when we had our first contact from our event coordinator at 24. They offer so many options to fit your budget, event, and style. We were able to do an early tasting so my then fiance could help choose our menu before a deployment. Elise and Hannah were always quick to respond to my questions and could accommodate some special requests. Their staff on the day-of were professional and friendly. The food was amazing and our guests were stuffed by the end of the night! I'm so happy we had the opportunity to work with 24 Carrots because they can literally do anything!

My catering manager was Nicole and she was fantastic! I loved how straightforward she was and she was excellent with organizing the final details for the wedding. They were very flexible in food choices for my guests as I had vegetarians and those with severe food allergies -- they provided an entirely different menu to one of guests because of her specific food allergies! The staff on the day of was very professional and attentive. The food on the day of the wedding tasted just as delicious as it did at our tasting. My guests all LOVED the food! The only reason I docked half a star was sometimes there was a bit of delay in response, but it just show you how busy and popular they are!

You get what you pay for!!!! Now don't get me wrong this is not the least expensive food, but it is the most delicious and beautiful food! But why would you get the cheapest food for your wedding?!?! I would think you want people to remember your wedding for how great everything was, not forget about your wedding because the food was ehh or so so. Well our guest cannot stop talking about how wonderful the food was, we had 3 different stations Mediterranean landscape, Buddha Bar and the Pasta bar (BTW my Italian family said it was some of the best pasta they had EVER HAD). This was in addition to our 6 delicious tray passed appetizers which our guest devoured! The service was impeccable the staff was dressed to impress, extremely professional and attentive. And my guest cannot stop talking about the FOOD! 24 carrots is the way to go if you want an event people will remember for all of the right reasons!

We were absolutely thrilled with our wedding at Rancho Las Lomas on June 12, 2010 with 24 Carrots as our caterer. 24 Carrots catering was FANTASTIC. They handled the food, bar, linens, everything - and did it perfectly. I never heard "sorry, we can't do that" or "I don't know what you want me to do" when we had questions, requests or concerns in the weeks before the wedding. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our wedding. Even down to our event captain, Heather, folding our napkins herself to insure that they were a perfect fit for our menu cards. They lived up to every expectation I had....even surpassing most of them! We got so many comments about how professional the catering staff was at the wedding, how beautifully presented and yummy the appetizers, late night snacks, and entrees were (no cold food at a wedding of 180 people!), how quick the staff responded to the guests, and just generally how fabulous our wedding was! I would without a doubt recommend 24 Carrots to any couple who wants their wedding to be a fun, classy, gorgeous, relaxing and amazing experience. I'm not a perfectionist in my everyday life, but for my wedding I morphed into one. With 24 Carrots at the wheel, we were relaxed and able to enjoy our day! It was still a blur, as I hear most wedding days are, but all of our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they'd ever attended. I would, without hesitation, recommend 24 Carrots to anyone considering using them for their wedding!

Delicious Food

I have received nothing but positive reviews regarding the 24 Carrots event staff and food. The catering for our wedding was delicious and very professional! The food service was organized and well coordinated. They fulfilled all of my requests!

My only vice was that they required extra equipment for certain food choices which added costs to the rentals. At our venue, kitchen buildouts were required which added additional costs that we were not ready for; it was in our contract that these things might be needed and that it would add additional rental costs, but it was more than we had expected.

We were so glad that 24 Carrots was part of our special day!

Food: The food was spectacular! Guests consistently told us how amazing the hors devours and entrees were! They were extremely pleased with the service and the attentiveness of the staff. Most of the times at a wedding the food is "okay" but nothing to remember. However, the peppercorn crusted filet and wild mushroom risotto were praised. Also all the hors devours were tasty and elegantly presented (sign me up for another Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup shooter).

Logistics: The 24 Carrots team was extremely professional and helped to handle all facets of the day for us. They helped us to start planning our wedding two years before the actual day, worked to rent rustic farm tables for the event, obtained heaters a week before the event, and worked to coordinate everything from the seating chart to the table service. They are truly a one stop shop!

Service: The night of the event many compliments were received on the amazing service which 24 Carrots provided. Additionally the 24 Carrots team even sent two waiters with us (one with drinks and one with food) to ensure we were being fed during our photos - which occurred during cocktail hour after the ceremony. The service was best, bar none.

We would highly recommend 24 Carrots cater your event! They have amazing food, a high quality staff, and are extremely helpful in all parts of event planning.

Although 24 carrots is pretty expensive and the tasting did not go as well as I had hoped, they really came through on wedding day! I think the biggest reason I was so pleased was because of Shelby! We had our wedding reception at Rancho Las Lomas. We were lucky enough to have the option of booking through their caterer, 24 carrots, or book an outside vendor. After reading reviews of how expensive they were, we were scared and assumed an outside vendor would be our best bet. We were wrong! So please keep in mind that every case is different. 24 carrots was willing and more than accommodating to work with our budget. After meeting with other vendors, 24 carrots was the right choice for our customized menu. They fulfilled all of my requests and at the best value. The food was delicious and the wait staff were extremely professional. They paid extra attention to my husband and I on our day and we loved how they made us feel special! All of my wedding guests raved about the food. The only thing that was annoying during the months leading up to the wedding was that at times, I did not know who my coordinator was due to many staff changes. However, the day of, the party ran smoothly. Thank you 24 carrots for the amazing food and exceptional staff!

24 Carrots is delicious. Everything is phenomenal! Some things might seem a little pricey, but you are paying for quality and service and you definitely get it. Try the butternut squash ravioli and the crusted halibut. The coconut shrimp appetizers are amazing as well!

24 Carrots was fantastic! The food was delicious and everyone raved but they did so much more than food. From the chivari chairs, silverware, bar service...everything was done so well. We choose to have some after hours snacks tray passed and they were a huge hit! Lynn took care of us and was amazing. We wound up being a little under in our number of guests and they took some costs down which helped us save and pay for other things for the wedding. The staff was very professional and there was never a line at the bar. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy.

I just got married on oct 9th and I must say the food was a big hit! Both our cocktail and dinner menus were vegetarian, which is not common in most weddings but everyone repeatedly told us how much they loved the food.

I also enjoyed so much working with Lynn Rinek, our event planner. She was so wonderful to work with and so accommodating to our needs. She made the entire experience so memorable and pleasant. We had to change the reception venue the last minute and she was able to help us execute the vision we had for the event with very little time. We had an outdoor wedding and it was the most beautiful wedding I've ever been to and I am so proud that it was mine.

I would recommend 24 Carrots to anyone who is planning an event, you won't regret it!

We only used them for our cocktail hour, bartenders, and for a french fry bar to accompany the In and Out Truck that we had instead of a formal sit-down dinner. The food is still being talked about! They provided us with cute mason jar glassware and great beverage selections. A bit pricey, but toatally worth it.

The food was incredible - my guests told me that the food was some of the best they have ever had. The staff are wonderful to work with - very accomodating and flexible. I also appreciated their advice and honesty on how to improve my wedding reception/ceremony such as adding lighting (which made a huge difference) but not spending additional money on other upgrades. My wedding set up was perfect- they also provided extra support (at no cost) like lighting candles, putting extra things on our tables, and helping out with whatever we needed. Honestly, I was completely blown away by 24 Carrots, as were my guests.

The food was awesome! We received so many compliments from our guests. Especially the beef & wasabi mashed potatoes in martini glasses--yum! We had a buffet and they really optimized the set-up so everyone could get through the lines quickly. Biggest plus - they were flexible with our needs and worked with us so their bartenders could serve our 'signature drink' my husband's own special homebrew beer, to our guests. The only knock on them were some attention to detail errors when trying to finalize the contracts and document mixups but it all worked out in the end. Kimberlyn and her team were great. Very easy to work with.

Our venue, Rancho Las Lomas, required us to use 24 Carrots since ours was a weekend wedding. We were at first a little miffed that we were forced to use them, and when we went to our first tasting, we were pretty disappointed. However, they let us do second tasting (after we asked) and we were so happy we asked. The second tasting was way better than the first one; almost seemed like two different catering companies.

Luckily, the food was more like our second tasting than our first tasting; very good. The servers were all extremely professional and friendly. All of staff is very friendly, professional, and quick. We were impressed with how quickly they were able to turn the area from ceremony to reception.

Our only nits:
-the way that the menu is that Rancho provides and those by 24 Carrots are confusing about the minimum number of guests required. There were a mismatch, which we were confused about and we were a little short of the minimum. Very small nit though.
-after our event, we had some follow up questions but never heard back. Pre-wedding communications were excellent though.
-we only gave a 4 for value; they're not expensive by any sense of the word, and they are very very good, but they're not ridiculously inexpensive. ;)

24 Carrots = Top of the line in professionalism and service!! They were wonderful to work with (Shelby & Chelsea in particular)! The ONLY reason I gave less than 5 stars on the value is because of the prices on the kitchen rentals. However, the service and food were perfect! Every guest raved about how their filet was perfectly cooked!! I cannot say enough about what a great experience I had working with Shelby!! 24 Carrots is truly top notch!!!

Everyone at 24 Carrots were great to work with! They made this major part of the wedding stress free for us. The service and food were amazing and all our guests had a great time. Lynn was on-site, ready to go and, when I realized we forgot something after the wedding at 11pm, she was quick to pick up the phone and help out!

24 Carrots catered our wedding at Rancho Las Lomas. Since we did not have a choice of caterer, we were a little concerned because we have been to many a catered affair and usually are unimpressed or underwhelmed by the food. It's not possible to serve close to 200 people and have the food taste good too, is it? Well, apparently it is. We were truly impressed at how well 24 Carrots catered our wedding. The staff was professional and efficient. Plus, the food was delicious!

We could not be happier with how our wedding turned out! We were at Ole Hanson with 24 Carrots and were blown away by the food and the service. From our tasting to the meal the day of, we were beyond satisfied and so impressed by the quality of food. We've gotten so many compliments from guests who said it was the best wedding food they've ever had. Would definitely recommend 24 carrots!

24 Carrots food was amazing!! I got tons of compliments about both the hor d vors and the main dish. The staff at the wedding was friendly and everything flowed really nicely. The only complaint I would have is that their office staff seemed unorganized. They lost both checks we sent to them via mail, and we had to rush around at the end to get a cashier's check for the final payment. They did mail us the check's once they found them, but it seemed a little unprofessional.
