  Wedding Reception

  AMAZING. I have never seen a DJ so active. He did an excellent job emptying the chairs and having everyone out on the dance floor! He played a great mix of music and had music for everyone. My wife and I are so happy that we hired Ronald to DJ at our wedding reception. I was amazed at the prices. I felt like we got a killer deal with the amount of fun that everyone at the reception had. Family and friends are still talking about how great the party was! The " Take a Selfie" with the Bride and Groom event was pure genius. We have received so many great selfies with friends and family. A++ DJ

  Although I've known Ronald Ruiz (DJ 151) for about 10 years, I'm being completely unbiased in my review and picked him because I would ALWAYS go out to where he was playing on the weekends and trusted that would be the best music we would find all night. I love his variety, while a lot of dj's play one style all night, he caters to your musical needs won't have you worried about whether the music will be "good" or not. Regardless of your preferred genre, the music's always good with Ron :) Aside from just good taste, he's funny, gets the crowd involved, has fun props to dance around with and awesome lighting to give you the best dance possible.

  Ron was absolutely amazing! We had what is considered a COVID wedding so there was not as many people there as we expected but Ron still made it work!! He still got everyone involved and dancing, had a couple things planned we didn't know about which just made it all that much more fun for us, he was very accommodating to any song request we wanted, I would definitely recommend him and his services to anyone!!

  Wedding DJ

  We used Ronald with 151 Entertainment for our wedding in September. He was a great DJ and truly made out night amazing. People are still commenting on how great the night was thanks to Ronald! He worked with me to make my Father Daughter dance special with a mash up of songs (not very common songs at that). He kept the dance floor packed the ENTIRE night. He was very receptive to requests when we wanted to change up the music. We couldn't have asked for more!!

  Our initial meeting went well and Ron was very professional and showed many examples of his work. He seemed easy to work with and told us he would get in touch with us closer to the wedding to check in. We sent over the forms with a few questions and didn't hear anything back, so I continued to try to get ahold of Ron. It wasn't until just a few days before the wedding that I finally heard back (I was freaking out at that point!). He answered my questions and everything was back on track. The day of the wedding he was late showing up and came speeding into the venue and told us he had gotten pulled over and was sorry he was late. He quickly set everything up. At the reception, the lighting and sound was great, but it was like he had ignored the answers we put down on the form. We had put that the majority of our guests would be 40+ years old, yet he played song after song of upbeat pop music, which is great for a few songs, but needs to be broken up. There was hardly anyone dancing after the first few songs and he kept playing the same type of music. We also requested to have a "dollar dance" which never happened. People started to leave early, and we ended up cleaning up over an hour before we needed to because most everyone was already gone. I requested a slower song so I could have a dance with my brother, and all the people that were still there filled the dance floor immediately because they had been waiting for a slow song. His prices were decent for what you got, but I wish he had been more attentive to our questions, what we wanted, and the crowd who was clearly not feeling it.
