About
Whether you want a simple ceremony in the comfort of your home, a theme wedding, a traditional ceremony in a garden or a formal affair, I will work with you to design the ceremony that is right for you. Your wedding is one of the most special days of your lives--make it as unique as you are.
Above all, your vows should say what you truly believe marriage means to you. Write you own vows or choose from a wide selection of vows and styles of ceremonies. Your vows can be as traditional or creative as you'd like; they can be secular humanist, religious or even humorous! Many couples who have children like to include them in the ceremony; others include the couple's parents. Both are beautiful ways to acknowledge that the family dynamic is changing for the couple's children and parents, as well. I will work with you to tailor your vows to who you are and what marriage means to you.
I have been ordained as a Minister by the Universal Life Church, a non-denominational, interfaith church, since 1993 and I am Commissioned by the Federation of Christian Ministries as an Ecumenical, Nondenominational Minister.
I specialize in ceremonies for couples who are "spiritual, but not religious", ceremonies for same-sex couples and interfaith ceremonies. I am happy to work with interfaith couples to incorporate aspects of each person's faith. I am also happy to perform civil ceremonies for couples who prefer them.
I understand that for most couples, budget and scheduling are major considerations, so most planning meetings are held via Skype or Google Hangouts, unless otherwise requested.
