We can’t thank Michelle enough for everything she did to make our wedding day so perfect!
My husband and I are not very religious and knew when we got married, we wouldn’t feel right having the ceremony in a church or performed by a minister. We got engaged and decided to have the ceremony and reception by a lake on my in-law’s property because it was a special place for us. When discussing the ceremony, it meant more to us to have an officiant who knew us officiate the ceremony rather than just anyone. I have worked with Michelle for more than 10 years, but not only is she a co-worker, she is a great friend and someone I truly admire and look up to. It goes without saying that I was ecstatic when she agreed [with excitement] to be our officiant!
From the beginning, my husband and I felt so comfortable working with Michelle. She helped us customize our wedding vows and explore traditional options to incorporate into the ceremony. I’m so glad she did because we ended up doing a Unity Tree Ceremony which was absolutely perfect for us!
Michelle is probably the most organized person I have ever known which helped my husband and I stay on schedule. Her attention to detail and event planning experience were an added bonus. Since we didn’t have an official wedding planner or an established venue with staff to work with, Michelle helped coordinate the timeline of the ceremony and even worked with our other vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. We also really appreciate Michelle taking the time to come to a rehearsal the evening before the wedding, especially since our wedding site was over an hour away.
My husband and I would both agree that one of the best parts of having Michelle be our officiant, was to see the pure joy she got out of being a part of it. It is such a great feeling to know that the person marrying you is just as excited for your new life together, as you are!
