Are you a commercial studio or a home-based business?
I work out of my home studio.
What types, such as unedited footage or special effects, of videography do you offer?
We offer several packagers to choose from or custom. We film all weddngs with two or three cameras and all footage is edited and authored to DVD. All special effects are included. If their budget is tight, we will offer filming only with unedited footage. And the raw footage for any filming may be purchased.
Describe any special editing services you offer:
I really don't piece meal things out...everything is included...filming in high definition...all editing and special effects...all editing is authored to DVD with a menu, chapter choices, DVD custom cover and label.
Do you have lighting equipment to accommodate a more dimly-lit event?
If needed, we have several different kinds of lights. Usually I set the cameras settings so that I don't need additional lighting.
How many videographers do you work with?
We are a husband and wife team.
Does the client get to meet the videographers before the event?
Yes. We always attend the rehearsal.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Most definitely.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
We only book one wedding a weekend.
Do you have a replacement videographer in case you become unavailable on the event day?
Yes, we belong to W.E.V.A. and also W.E.N. and have several videographers that we would be confident in.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
We bring 3 or 4 cameras, several batteries...microphones...field recorders...H.D. tapes...and several different kinds of lights. We even have one camera that can take still photos along with filming.
Do you bring backup equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Always.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Usually we only break during the dinner...or meal.
Do you charge overtime?
We only charge a small fee for going over the stated time.
Do you give access to your raw footage?
Yes. Raw footage may be purchased for a small fee.
Do you reserve the right to use the video in the future for promotions, contents, etc.?
Yes, unless the client requests that we don't.
Is the client involved in the editing process? If so, how much input does the client have in editing?
We discuss ahead of time what the Bride and Groom are looking for and have a form for them to fill out to give us more information to determine the editing style.
How long does it take for the client to get the final video?
It often depends on the package they choose...from two weeks to 6 weeks.
