About
As a broadcast journalist and television production instructor, I have over ten years of experience in the broadcast industry. When I created Bianco Spirito, I put that experience to work producing videos that reflect the reality of the event as it happens, not flouncing the footage with pre-made effects.

Obviously I own and use professional equipment. But, what sets me apart is my experience. The most expensive camera in the world won’t make up for the artistry of the person behind it. My background in broadcast journalism means that I have been trained in capturing the nuances of an event, and telling each story effectively and creatively through the use of audio and video. And being a journalist means that I have experience doing this quietly and unobtrusively. I don’t employ a lot of intrusive lighting equipment, and I won’t turn your day into a giant television production.

I then take the raw footage and edit it into a package that truly tells the story of your event. I can add in your favorite music. I can add a few pictures of the couple to create a photo montage. I can even put a couple of short segments together that can be uploaded to the internet and shared with the world.

Each Event is Unique
Every couple is unique. They have a different story, a different idea of what they want their wedding or special event to reflect. I meet with each of my clients before the event to discuss what it is that is important and original about their event. Are you a traditionalist couple wanting white roses and soft organ music and a video that describes a certain amount of class? Bianco can provide you with that. Is the bridal party arriving on motor cycles? Do you want a video reflecting that black leather aspect of your personality? No problem. Are you a couple in tune with nature, and desire a video that reflects your barefoot free-spirits? I can provide you with a video that won’t hurt the environment!
My style is your style.

Frequently Asked Questions for Videography
What primary style do you identify with?
Documentary, Storytelling, Traditional

What do your packages include?
Ceremony, DVD of Raw Footage, Edited Video, Montage - Childhood / Dating, Montage - Music Dubbed Over, Montage - Wedding Highlights, Multiple Videographers, Multple Cameras, Online Highlight Films, Pre-Ceremony, Reception, Rehearsal Dinner

What formats can the final video be in?
DVD

Do you have liability insurance?
No

What types, such as unedited footage or special effects, of videography do you offer?
All of our wedding videos are edited. Unedited video, even when performed by a professional will always have an amateurish quality, that moment when you were zooming in quickly to get a kiss, or running to catch the bride and groom leaving the church. Editing takes the poor video out. What you're left with is a piece that is much more attractive and that flows beautifully.

Describe any special editing services you offer:
We use Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 video editing software.

Does the client get to meet the videographers before the event?
We attempt to meet for a free consultation before the wedding in order to thoroughly plan the event. We also attend the rehearsals so that we can plan for contingencies, before they become an emergency.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Once we have booked the event and received the deposit that date is yours. We only do one wedding a weekend.

Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
We do one wedding a weekend only, so that we can give our clients the kind of attention their special event deserves.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Sony digital cameras, tripods and microphones. We also have on-camera ligthing equipment should the event warrant additional lighting. We do not light the wedding ceremony itself. We believe a wedding is a religious event between two people, not a reality show. We, therefore, do not believe in lighting the actual ceremony. We use professional grade camera equipment that is better in low light situations. That said, if your event is scheduled for the night and lit only by candlelight it probably will not produce video of passing quality.

Do you charge overtime?
No. I want to make my customers happy, not nickel and dime them for every moment I've spent past my contractual time or every tape I've used over the usual number.

Do you reserve the right to use the video in the future for promotions, contents, etc.?
Yes, Bianco Spirito reserves the right to use video, either in part or in its entirety, for promotional purposes, unless otherwise negotiated by the client.

Is the client involved in the editing process? If so, how much input does the client have in editing?
I want the bride and groom involved in the process. In the end the video is about them and for them. Obviously that means finding out what they forsee in their very special video.

Tips and Advice
Why You Need a Professional Videographer

Everyone can turn on a video camera and hit record. The difference between a professional videographer and an amateur is the difference between cubic zirconia and a genuine diamond. And let’s face it, you can’t hold the wedding over again, simply because the video was poor.

• While a cheap camcorder will record, it doesn’t produce superior results.

We use professional-grade equipment, including 3-CCD digital Panasonic cameras, tripods and professional editing software. We use microphones versus relying on the audio from the camera microphone, so that every audio nuance (like your vows being said) is captured and preserved. We also use natural lighting versus studio lighting whenever possible, because while you want good video, you also want to enjoy your day.

• While Uncle Ed may be willing to videotape the event for you, he’s hardly a professional

I am a professional broadcaster with over 10 years of experience. That means better quality shots that are steady, well exposed and beautifully edited in order to give you a polished story that you will watch and value for years to come. Can you trust your big event to anyone but a professional?
