Facilities and Capacity
Weddings held at this venue can be hosted in two distinct spaces, namely the Modern Club and Balcony, and the Vintage Ballroom and Mezzanine. The Modern Club and adjacent Balcony can host up to 100 guests for dinner and dancing or 300 guests for a reception. The original gold-leafed fleur-de-lis ceiling rests above tall windows and glass chandeliers. This makes for an elegant space for a ceremony. The Vintage Ballroom and attached Mezzanine can host up to 200 guests for dinner and dancing or 350 guests for a reception. This elegant room features prominent details of royal Tudor-style architecture such as white chandeliers contrasting with the blackened wood beams. The lofty ceilings, stunning picture windows, and silk draperies add an airy and luxurious touch to this space for a reception.

The amazing and supportive team behind Alden Castle make this venue more than worth it!
Jenna in particular has been an integral part of planning our big day from start to finish. She’s been a fantastic support to us throughout the entire process, wearing many hats while also effortlessly coordinating a million moving parts at once for many other couples besides us. She is an absolute PRO. If you find yourself on the fence about choosing Alden Castle (or any other Longwood venue for that matter), consider that as part of working with this venue means that you would get to work with a world-class Events Specialist that is dedicated to making sure everything goes right on your big day. It has been a joy to work with Alden, and every single person on their staff! Big shoutout to Gary and Niveah who also made sure that my husband and I had everything we needed, whether it be more drinks in hand or to make sure we ate enough food. It was also due to them that our reception went so smoothly and words cannot describe how thankful we are for their help.
As other folks have mentioned, though this isn’t an inexpensive option for your wedding day/reception, you absolutely get a lot of value for what you pay for and in our opinion is 100% WORTH IT.
