Cindy ruined my wedding. We hired her to be our month-of-coordinator and while she assured us that everything would run smoothly and as planned, as soon as she had her payments her commitment to giving us our special day evaporated. She took minimal notes during our conversations leading up to the wedding. She did not stop asking me questions and bringing me problems for the whole wedding day. She sent my husband to the front of the church with a crooked tie and a boutonniere that was half falling off. She refused to stay until the end of the wedding because in her estimation "everything was already handled". We didn't hire her as a planner, just as a wedding day coordinator, and she truly treated us like second class citizens. And to be clear, she calls it "month of coordination" but all that entitles you to is one meeting, and her "coordination" at the rehearsal and on the day....which she will NOT see through 'til the end.
She also misplaced our marriage license, and rather than taking any steps to rectify the error herself, she told us she was "with other clients" and couldn't fix the situation she had created herself. We spent 3 hours tracking it down the day before our honeymoon.
She was sunshine and promises before she had our money, but as soon as she did she was dismissive of our concerns, uninterested in our distress, and completely negligent in rendering the services of a wedding coordinator.
She will take your money and let you down. And that's what ruins a wedding. Rather than taking a friend/family member out of the celebration to make sure things go well on the day, we hired a "professional" to do the job. So when she entirely failed to render the services of a coordinator the only people to prevent things from collapsing were my husband, myself, and my parents. We paid $700 and all 4 of my husband, myself and my parents had a horrendous wedding. She is unethical and unprofessional, and she will ruin your wedding too if you hire.
