From the moment we had our first conversation with Rob and Christina (Ioan Films), we knew we were in good hands. In addition to their brilliant portfolio, their prompt responsiveness, genuine eagerness to get to know us better, and overall adaptability made putting our trust in them to document our special day incredibly easy.

On our wedding day itself, their warmth and professionalism was unparalleled. And, Christina went above and beyond “videographer” by helping throughout the getting ready process; from helping me, Tracy, with my dress to keeping us both calm about the weather. This was, again, so incredibly appreciated.

The next day we woke up to our “wedding video preview teaser” and were in complete awe at how something of such quality and thoughtfulness could be created within such a short timeframe. Wow – quite simply, no other words but “wow” come to mind.

Then, a few months later when we received our feature wedding video, during a pandemic at that, we were equally impressed and couldn’t have been any happier. Their vision, creativity, direction, and composition are truly an organic experience, with absolutely nothing staged or forced. They take what they have to work with, and, magically, create uniquely beautiful stories while capturing the very essence of their subjects.
A few weeks after that we contacted them again to create a separate cut of a special moment due an unfortunate circumstance and, once again, they came through with willingness, reliability, and competence.
I can go on and on, but, in short, we would highly recommend Ioan Films one-hundred-million percent; Rob and Christina took our already high expectations, and exceeded them beyond our wildest dreams.

Our wedding video was so beautiful! I They truly know how to capture every moment. They were the videographers for my sisters wedding and I loved the way they worked. They are very professional, always on time and available to answer your questions. They are very detailed oriented as well which I really liked. I would recommend them to everyone!

The Ioan film team are super friendly and professional. It was a joy having them around on my wedding day. My wedding video is so stunning, we always get asked who created it and refer them to all our friends!

As someone who works professionally in broadcast television and with experience in wedding videography, Rob and Christina are the only people I would trust to film my wedding. Their wedding videos are like films, and they are the only ones that tastefully incorporate live sound into their videos. One year later, we can still watch our wedding video over and over and appreciate new things from it. Thanks guys for the timeless memories!

Like many couples, we initially did not feel like we wanted nor needed wedding video. We just couldn't see ourselves wanting to watch ourselves over and over again on a screen after the fact (kinda like hearing yourself on a recording- urgh) and felt like we weren't really a classically attractive or particularly romantic couple that would show well on camera/screen. Plus, let's face it, we were scarred by some pretty cringe-worthy wedding VHS from the 80s.
Circumstances along wedding planning precipitated a decision change and I still thank our lucky stars (and our planner extraordinaire, Elyna Kudish) that Christina and Rob were still available a mere 3 weeks before our wedding date. In truth I had come across their blog and was in awe/ tears at these perfect strangers' weddings, and could only fantasize about hiring them for our own.
Christina and Rob answered all our questions when we met them over coffee and sent us a fun questionnaire to get to know us better. The wedding day itself though was when the magic happened. Since they had worked with our photographers before (hi Bartek & Magda!), the entire day really felt like hanging out with a group of old friends. We never felt like we were being "directed", maybe a little silly being so lovey dovey but that's a bit of a given. We truly had a blast.
We held our breath when we finally received our wedding video, and here's what went through our minds as we watched it:
- Wow, we look great
- Wow, we sound great
- Wow, I'm not hating looking at myself -- in fact I kinda like it
- Omg YES they captured this little moment that I really wanted them to
- I can't believe we get to relive this day again
And most importantly:
- This feels like us. It is so very perfectly us.
Now that it's all said and done, I cannot imagine not having video to cement the memories of our wedding, and I truly encourage any couple who's on the fence to go for it-- there will be no ounce of regret if you work with true professionals and kind, funny people such as Christina and Rob. The quality and artistry of the images as well as the storytelling are worth every single penny. We've said it before guys, but thank you so much for telling the story of us so well.
As for re-watching the video... I've kinda lost count... :)

Cancelled on my husband and I 9 days before our wedding!!

We considered booking Ioan Films at the beginning of our wedding planning, but then changed our minds after going over budget on other items. However, we were in love with their portfolio and could not imagine not having a video of our wedding day. Pictures are amazing, but there is something special about capturing your family and friends laughing, crying, etc. So we contacted Ioan Films again, but luckily they were still available! Rob and Christina were amazing to work with. They are passionate about their work, so friendly, organized and professional. I had specific requests and they gladly worked with me. We booked the basic package and we were blown away by their work! Honestly, this was one of my top 2 best wedding decisions and I am glad I splurged!

We couldn’t be happier with this dream team! Rob and Christina are the nicest people to work with and are real pros. They captured special moments we didn’t even realize happened. It took a little long to put together their masterpiece but it was well worth the wait. Call them now!
