Hey, Im Jacqueline, a makeup artist and hairstylist specializing in natural and sustainable beauty and bridal services. My emphasis is on fostering a positive and inclusive conversation around beauty and what that means to each individual.

I specialize in natural makeup for weddings, boho bridal hair and makeup in the Squamish & Whistler and hair for headshots in Vancouver and surrounding areas.

Makeup artistry has long been a passion of mine. I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life by the time I was beginning high school. In the early stages of my makeup career, I worked in film and thought I wanted to build prosthetics, but I didn’t love the film lifestyle so I packed up my bags and found an internship with a beauty agency in Brooklyn, NY.

While living in Brooklyn, I discovered a brand called 100% Pure, which was the mascara brand my friend was using at the time. I became totally obsessed with natural products, eating vegetarian and pretty much anything that screamed “wellness”. Eventually I threw in the towel with NYC, because yet again, it wasn’t the lifestyle for me and I moved home to Vancouver.

After excessive research on the presence of toxic chemicals, excessive waste, and unethical practices within the cosmetics industry, I used my passion for beauty to try to make a difference. I found a way to utilize my makeup skills not only to enhance someone's appearance and well-being but also to do so in the most ethical manner imaginable. Thats how Beauty Reawakened was born.

Through my beauty services, I aim to disrupt the conventional norms of the beauty industry, offering people the means to instigate positive changes for themselves, the environment, and their loved ones.
