We are Steve and Bernadette, a husband-and-wife duo, and we have been documenting weddings for over twelve years with photography.
We are drawn to the relationships, the emotions, the interactions. These are the things we truly believe will only grow in value over time, especially for future generations.
200+ weddings and our full time job means we’ve been there and we’ve seen a lot, but we still love everything about what we get to do. A wedding day is a big giant mix of everything that reminds us of why life is beautiful. We are here to preserve memories of your beloved people and all the authentic moments of your day so that you and your loved ones can return to the experience for generations to come.
We bring intentional documentary and honest photojournalism to your wedding day. We’re not here to manufacture moments or fit you into some type of repeatable wedding template. We’re not here to create photos and videos for the sake of getting the most likes on social media. We’re here to document the start of your marriage, to let your day unfold naturally while we capture real moments and preserve your cherished memories.
From churches to wineries to ballrooms to farms to city lofts to backyards. We document weddings across different cultures, traditions, locations and budgets. Our true common denominator is all of our couples have a desire to focus on what matters: love of one another and love of the people they care about.
Our couples let us into their lives and share their stories with us. They trust us to care. They trust us to document honestly. We can’t wait to connect with you and learn about capturing your day!

Steve & Bernadette met at a small college in Ohio in 2003. After Bernadette friend zoned Steve multiple times they eventually got married in 2009. They started photographing weddings together in 2011 and love being full time small business owners. They added videography with a similar storytelling and people-centric approach in 2019. They have documented over 200 weddings from just about every background, style and tradition.
They live in Historic Leesburg in a 130 year-old home with their three kids (Rosie, Ellie, Luke) and their five animals (Kylo Ren the puppy, Ewok the cat, Mr Bojangles and Cocoa the bunnies, and Eve the bird).
When not photographing or filming weddings their time is focused on family life. Bernadette home schools the kids, which when paired with the seasonal work of weddings allows them to take epic road trips around the country each year.
They also love music and going to concerts, and Steve plays guitar for a local pop rock band, SAMA.
