Hi I’m Blake, but you may know me as “DJ Sticky Boots” from my long-running nationally-syndicated radio show The HyperMiXx, heard locally on U-93 in South Bend or maybe from my shows on SiriusXM satellite radio. What many don’t know is that long before the radio, I got my start as a private event DJ for weddings, schools, and corporate events. In fact, I’ve been DJ’ing since I was 13 years old, and although I love my radio shows, my true passion is private and special events.

My specialties include distinctive wedding DJ entertainment for discerning couples, corporate lifestyle events, and proms where exceptional DJ skill and high production value is a must. I also feel strongly that all love is welcome on my dance floors!

Hello, I’m Jeff, sometimes known as “DJ Iceberg”, and I’ve been rocking dance floors with The Music Place since 1997. I was born in raised in Niles, Michigan and still proudly call Niles my home. My attention to detail and fun personality make me a client favorite time after time!

In addition to a refined set of performance skills, I possess a unique and wide knowledge of music and mix programming that’s sure to please even the toughest groups of people. I’m personally a fan of all types of music and I pride myself on being a master of organization and timing, well equipped to keep every event flowing smoothly and with pizzazz!

I’ve also been developing my hot-mixing talents for years and love showing off my skills as a mixer at school dances in the spring and fall, but that skill used at the right time can bring a lot of energy to your wedding reception as well! Musical creativity is key, so whether the event calls for Oldies, Disco, 80’s and 90’s, the latest in Hip-Hop and Dance music, or a little bit of everything, I will get your guests on the dance floor and keep them there all night.
