Fern Hill Barn Celebrates Love & Family in Spencer, MA
Perched on a picturesque hilltop in the beautiful countryside of Massachusetts stands a delightful family-owned farm and wedding venue boasting 15 years of award-winning legacy.
Fern Hill Barn strikes an ideal balance between traditional and modern: an idyllic rural location that offers peace and seclusion while conveniently situated just 60 miles west of Boston for epic urban wedding adventures. The natural surroundings of this magnificent venue offer a captivating backdrop for joyous weddings and stunning photographic memories. From May to October, an elegant 1,400-square-foot tension pavilion covers the patio, providing shelter for up to 250 guests. Soft lights emanate from the pavilion's canopy ceiling onto a stunning black-and-white patterned dance floor. Black wooden Chiavari chairs adorn round tables with exquisite china, cutlery, crystal glasses, and luxurious linens. Enclosed sides and gas heaters are available in case the weather proves unfavorable. The ample indoor grand hall can comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests from November to April. Exposed beams, a generous fieldstone fireplace, and an impressive built-in oak bar will surely impress!
The original farmhouse serves as a private and luxurious get-ready space for your wedding party to prepare for the festivities, featuring a private suite on the second floor and even onsite hair and makeup services.

Amazing staff
Later we had a meeting with Alyson for picking up our planning binder and she was very knowledgeable! She was patient with our questions, let us walk away and enjoy the venue for a moment as we thought of anymore questions and everything was able to be answered. She helped guide us through what to expect in terms of timeline and feel really confident.
Both of them have shown us nothing but warm welcomes and being in our corner throughout the whole process, and as a lesbian couple, we didn’t feel the same with a lot of the other venues we toured. They know what they’re doing, clearly passionate about the same little details we are and it makes the whole process feel like we’re a well oiled team. We couldn’t be happier and can’t wait to be able to stop by again soon for other appointments.

Love Zukas Hiltop Farm. We have been luck enough to watch this facility grow over the years. A family run business is always a great thing to see. Pete and Lynn Zukas are the best! Every time we go back we see something new. From the breathtaking views to the quality of food and service. It is a favorite of ours and many a customer that have had a wedding at Zukas.
An absolutely beautiful venue, with many, many great places for photographs. Amazingly good food and a top notch staff, round this venue up to be one of our absolute favorite places to work, and recommend.
