We had JRK and Div from MVPDJs join us for our wedding in Charleston. They were truly INCREDIBLE. From start to finish, the team made sure to take in all of our interests/desires, incorporated them into their mixes, and curated the perfect vibes throughout the weekend. So many people specifically complimented the DJ following our reception! I would absolutely hire these two and MVPDJs again for any major event I have.

We had MC JJ (Joffie) and DJ Prit Modi for our sangeet, ceremonies, and reception at our wedding in Mexico and they absolutely CRUSHED it!! From the start, they were super organized and had a Google sheet where we outlined our song requests and event timelines. They spent a lot of time leading up to the wedding understanding and asking questions about the vibe and music we were going for for each of our events, and it was perfectly executed across them all.

JJ really brought the energy and hype at every event, and specifically at the baraat, did a great job of teaching people some dance moves and getting non-Indian guests who had never seen a baraat before really into it. He did a phenomenal job of MCing just the right amount and delivering clever lines that were so much better than your standard MC. Prit had an amazing ability to read the crowd and what they were responding to, and weaved Indian and American music together seamlessly. His transitions were always on point and he always played songs for just the right amount of time. Our dance floors (for both the sangeet and reception) were packed and LIT for the whole event. They got my dad (who I haven't seen dance in 15 years) in the middle of a dance circle twice!

We had several guests come up to us unprompted and share how great JJ & Prit were, and how the music was incredible. They were a crucial part of setting the right energy and vibe for our events, and we can't recommend them enough!!!

My husband, Liam, and I recently hired MVPDJs for our wedding, and we couldn’t be more impressed.
When we first reached out through their website, we were happy with the quick and eager response to our inquiry. We met with Shane and discussed our tentative timeline, taste in music for the day, and fun additions like the indoor sparklers, dancing on clouds, and a dhol player. Shane had also reached out as we got closer to the day to go over all of the finer details, including entrance songs, baraat logistics, and play/do not play lists.

On the day of the wedding, when we found it that it was going to rain, DJ Shattered (Shane) and his team were quick to help provide a solution for moving the baraat indoors. Since we had a fusion Indian-American wedding, Shane was able to provide a detailed explanation of the Baraat to the guests, and were vital to getting the crowd pumped up. Shane was extremely attentive to Liam, and made him feel like the life of the party! He brought great energy and enthusiasm that bled over to the other guests, making it a memorable event for everybody. We had many guests mention that this baraat was one of a kind, and one they will remember for years to come.

For the wedding ceremony, Shane had mentioned that they prepare their songs in advance with the distance of the aisle, and I could tell how much thought was put into finding the perfect timing. This was extremely apparent during my bridal entrance, as they started my entrance song so they I would reach the mandap during the chorus. This is a memory that I can now vividly picture in my head, and it’s all thanks to the hard work Shane and his team put into our ceremony.

Prior to the reception, Shane encouraged us to practice our first dance so that they could properly time the indoor sparklers during key moments of the song. This stuck with me, as you could tell that the team just wanted to make sure we were happy. Once our guests entered the reception, Shane was great at getting the crowd hyped up for all of the family/bridal party entrances and brought the perfect amount of energy when announcing Liam & I for our entrance! He even went the extra mile to confirm the correct pronunciations of everyone’s names. Shane did a great job MCing all of the dances and speeches throughout the night, and was able to match/raise the crowd’s energy!

Once we got to the dancing portion of the night, DJ Shattered brought the nostalgia, playing all of the throwbacks that we requested. I can’t even count how many people came up to me during the reception/afterwards mentioning that the DJ was ON FIRE the whole night. He perfectly captured the vibe that we were hoping for, and introduced us to some great remixes of our favorite songs. My favorite part of the night was when they spotlighted my sister on the dance floor and had the whole crowd chanting her name.

For both the wedding and reception, MVPDJs also took care of our lighting. We could tell that they took the extra step to make sure the lighting perfectly complemented our mandap, reception stage decor, and existing hotel color scheme perfectly.

All in all, if you want to have a memorable wedding, I would 100% recommend MVPDJs and DJ Shattered (Shane) for your all your DJ/MCing needs!
