Saint John's Resort is a beautiful chapel and hotel wedding venue based in Plymouth, Michigan. Conveniently located in the suburbs of Detroit, this Catholic chapel and wedding venue will make your wedding day dreams come to life. It is home to some of Detroit’s most beautiful European-style architecture and luxurious ballroom spaces. In addition to the venues, Saint John's Resort offers fantastic bed and breakfast service for your honored wedding guests throughout the weekend. There is no better place to say ‘I do’ than at this luxury hotel.
Facilities and Capacity
Saint John's Resort offers an elegant Catholic chapel and our four seasons, Garden Pavilion for Wedding Ceremonies. In addtion to four stately ballrooms for your reception. This decadent venue also has three ballrooms one Atrium for your wedding reception needs. Our Grand Ballroom, for up to 350 guests, our Mosaic and Provincial Ballrooms for up to 150 guests and our stunning Atrium for 180 - 200 guests wedding receptions. The Mosaic and Provincial Ballrooms features tall cathedral ceilings and hand-painted inlays to add an air of elegance to your formal banquet or more casual dinner. In 2025 we will open our newest venue the Monarch Ballroom. A 17,000 square foot venue that features a sky wall and will accommodate up 800+ for your celebration with family and friends.
Services Offered
Saint John's Resort offers accommodations and planning services for couples to ensure their wedding weekend is executed seamlessly. Couples can work with the Resort staff to determine a wedding timeline and coordinate with the priest to prepare for your wedding ceremony. They may choose to avail of premium event rentals including tables, chairs, chair covers, lighting, and more. We also offer full-service reception packages to make sure your day is truly special.
Accommodations
Saint John's Resort offers you and your guests beautiful rooms to enjoy the wedding weekend, with access to amenities including the indoor pool, hot tub, and fitness center. Couples can avail of glamorous suite accommodations during their stay. A romantic turn-down service is also provided that includes rose petals, truffles, champagne.

Officially a Saint John's Resort Team Member after 3 years of internship from GVSU. I am excited to be working in the Wedding Market and putting all I have learned to great use. I LOVE getting to know my couples and making their special day all they have dreamed, plus a little bit more.

Jessica has over 7 years of event and wedding planning experience and is a Certified Wedding Planner through the Bridal Society. She most enjoys getting to know each couple throughout the planning process and working with them to bring their Big Day to life! When she is not planning weddings, she can be seen loving on her sweet rescue pup, Ginger, eating great food and wine, and spending time with family.
I have been planning weddings and other social events (my true passion) at our beautiful venue for almost 22 years, which I have been very fortunate and proud to work with such a great team.
It is so rewarding to be part of such memorable occasions from the moment we meet, plan and together anticipate your special day! It is very rewarding! Nothing makes me more happy!
