The story of our wedding

Evan and I have been to over 20 weddings together before our own, so we wanted to make sure our felt unique and personal to us. We planned everything together and had every detail reflect our love story. We got married at a beautiful golf course in Middletown, Ny called West Hills Country Club. Our ceremony took place underneath their ornate gazebo, which we turned into a chuppah and our reception was held in their gorgeous outdoor ballroom tent. Being and interfaith couple, Evan being Jewish and myself a Catholic. We had a private ketubah signing with our immediate families before having a ceremony with both a Priest and Rabbi. It was very important that we honored both of our traditions. For our ceremony we wrote our own vows, and chose a personal ceremony outline. We then had our cocktail outside before going to our ceremony inside the tent. Our vibe was romantic and organic. Our flowers were all wild flowers sourced from a local farm and the candilers were covered in greenery. It was romantic, and fun and everything we dreamed of . We had a saxophonist playing in the middle of the dance floor the whole night long and spent the night partying away with our closet friends and family. It was the best day of our lives!
