Calling all who have used Sam's Club or Costco for flowers!

I don't have any good close up pictures, but you can see the arrangements we made in these pictures. (They're in the bottom left in the second picture)

Instead of buying premade sets from Costco, we bought bulk flowers and did them ourselves. We did 10 vases of flowers. It took one bulk pack of Babys Breath and one pack of 40 white roses. Total cost was $130. They came in great condition!

We haven’t gotten married yet, but I bought my flowers in bulk from Sams! I bought 400 stems of ruscus, 200 stems of olive branch, and 30 white hydrangeas for $344 (shipping included in that price). I plan to make up all of the garlands and everything we need from this, I used flower moxie to get an accurate quote of what is need for what I wanted to make. I’m pretty excited actually! I’ll do a full review after my wedding in 15 days!

Following. I plan on getting mine from Sam's as well. My aunt is a florist in another state, so she is coming in early to put the bouquets together!

Nope! You can create a guest account to check out, it's like a 10-20% up-charge or something for being a non-member but the cost is small, especially when you are saving so much money ordering this way.

That's a good idea. My family has Costco memberships, I'll have to check them out.

I’d love to see more pics of the premade bouquets. I’m interested in one of the collections from Sam’s and read some pretty good reviews. I originally was thinking of doing the bulk and making them myself but thought I don’t want that stress that close to the wedding.

Great question! I'm planning to use them too and I'm still brainstorming!

For anyone who is interested, I am going to jot down my ideas.

I am going to hire an actual florist for bouquets/bouts/corsages because I just do not want the stress of making them the night or two before my wedding($400). I do, however, plan on making my own centerpieces, and aisle decor.

I have long wooden farm tables at my venue, and I think the best way to highlight the beauty of them and the rustic-barn look, I am going to buy (4) four packs of 6' wedding garlands ($99 each). I am still deciding if I want to leave them plain or if I want to buy white roses in bulk to stick in throughout the garland. I will put these on ten tables, the sweethearts table, the gift table, the cake table, and on the bar. This will cost a little over $550 if I decide to do it with roses. For the aisles, I am going to purchase the 6000 pack of petals ($100) for the flower girl baskets, to line the aisles, scatted under the arbor, and have extras to place in little cups for guests to toss as we exit our ceremony. For the arch, I plan on buying a pre-made arrangement off etsy (runs around $180+). I also want to have a few bud vases and mason jars placed throughout the location of my cocktail hour, but I am thinking that I may just purchase a few bouquets at my local grocery store to do this, but I am unsure as of yet ($50).

So I am thinking when it is all said and done my grand total will be around $1300. MUCH less than I was quoted initially for similar ideas.

Even the bulk prices on the bouquet sets are good compared to literally any florist!

A few things. What is your venue's fire code? You can stretch our your wedding budget if you add candles to the mix because they help light up your flowers.

Are you planning on tablecloths? Does your venue offer options for that? Look into that. That is very important. The more work the stuff your venue supplies you with does, the less your money has to work. A really awesome supplier is CV Linens. I'm getting a lot of my extra stuff through them.

It sounds dumb, but actually start with your tablescapes first, before you buy a single flower. This will help you gauge the scale of arrangements you need. By tablescape I mean where all the plates go. From there, you know the size of everything and you will know the terrain your arrangements can work under.
