Me and my fiance chose a date that has meaning to us. We plan on eloping instead of having a huge wedding and reception. Two weeks prior to the wedding date we will be in Florida and thought of having a cookout/pre wedding celebration. This will be without the wedding cake, and other traditional reception stuff.
I figured it would be an easier way to get the family together minus the pressure of dressing up, and buying gifts.
