NWR-What does your FH/FW do for a living?

I know there was a earlier post about what we do for a living. But, wondering now what your FH/FW does for a living?

My FH builds kitchen cabinets and office furniture. His dad owns a small company and he works for him. But, he is going back to school in Fall 2012 for electronics engineering-design and drafting.

So, how about everyone else's FH/FW do?

My honey is currently a security gaurd. He's working on getting into Corrections though, and wants to go back to school for Criminal Justice.

his title is not actually security Guard but I don't know the actual name. He has a securty licence and he works for a company where he is in charge of checking in packages that come through as well escorting future clients. It's a huge warehouse where they store software for huge companies. He took me on a tour once on thanksgiving cause he had to work a double shift so I brought him food. It was neat. It was the only time I've ever been there.

My FH is in sales for Verizon Wireless, he's a charmer so he does very well in commissioned sales so it's hard for me to get him to stop dragging his feet and finish his accounting degree.

But I would love for him to have weekends and holidays off :-/

My FH works as a machinist at a huge battery plant near us. He machines the parts for the factory so that they can make the batteries. LOL so self efficient!

FH is going to school too, for Mechanical Engineering. He has a job lined up as a field engineer for a petroleum drilling company out in Texas for when we graduate in May. Basically he would be part of a team that drills down into the earth and then lines the hole with cement and then drops an artillery shell down the holel to start the oil flowing. This company is hired by other companies like BP to start their drilling wells.

FH is a transportation specialist a.k.a. truck driver :-) At this point he only runs the Mid west, does not do all 48 and I hope he never does. This way he's home every weekend.

What a cool variety of interesting jobs!

My FH is a computer geek. Smiley smile He's a consultant for companies that want to be more efficient. He works a lot. He was travelling cross country every week for one particular client, and we decided from now on until we have kids we'll just move to whatever city the clients are in while he's on a certain project. So we've become nomads. Smiley smile

@ NicNac W. My FH originally went to university for Mechanical Engineering, but socializing, got in the way of schooling and was asked to leave the university. So, now he wants to apply what he learned and loves to do (drawing and designing), to a two-year diploma program.
