You can start with the checklist on this site:

    Checklist - WeddingWire.com

You have to first figure out the budget and number of guests. Then you can figure out a venue for the ceremony and reception. If need be, there are some discussions on doing ceremonies on limited budgets. Much depends on whether a formal wedding reception is desired. There are a lot of aspects of planning that can be omitted -- like engagement parties or extensive decor.

Hi! It definitely is a lot of planning to do. This app helps a lot with knowing what is the main importance for planning. Wedding websites/blogs help a lot too if your interested in reading where to start! If you rather right things down I suggest buying a wedding planner or maybe get one for free. Best of luck with planning and congratulations!!

Decide on the aspects most essential and also most important to you.

the most basic stuff are the venue for the marriage and also find an officiant.

you can find a single venue for the ceremony and reception. Some venues can handle most of the details -- officiants, ceremony site, reception, catering -- but these usually have a premium price. If you have a flexible venue, you can just order pizzas for everyone.

You can do informal invitations with rsvps. Photographer is optional (or for price, get a college student who at least knows the basic art of photography.) Decorations are mostly optional -- and may be part of a reception venue. Flowers are optional. Bridal party is optional. Music is optional.

If you are on a tight budget, check out some of the recent discussions.

If you take care of the primary tasks, the others can be done on leisure or just skipped.

Hey, first off congrats on a huge step in yours and your fiancée’s life! Love 🌈 weddings!

How far ahead are you planning this/do you have a specific date that you discussed with your partner?
If you’re fretting over who to officiate your wedding, depending on your fiancée’s and your preference, you can hire someone who is a professional officiant, OR you can ask someone whom you love and trust to officiate! I’ve been an officiant for friends before (during COVID no less) and it was an unexpected honor. Just thought I’d throw that idea in there so you don’t feel like it has to be a stranger.

No problem! When is your wedding? You might have plenty of time to plan! Just take it one step at a time and all should be okay! Does your fiance prefer you to do all the planning? Maybe see if you can have then help out with picking things with you. Hope it gets a little less stressful for you!

Gald she's helping! If you can, there is an option for a wedding planner or you can stick with wedding planner books. Also I keep hearing tiktok having great advice for weddings if your interested in looking there
