So my security was getting down because I am what I(lol) would consider a very talented person. However I have decided on a "just show up wedding" so here we are in May with a July wedding, and now I decide to be bummed out because I have no "designed by me" in my wedding. UGHHHH!!! So my security was getting down because I am what I(lol) would consider a very talented person. However I have decided on a "just show up wedding" so here we are in May with a July wedding, and now I decide to be bummed out because I have no "designed by me" in my wedding. UGHHHH!!! With that being said I decided to take on something small and I think I rocked it. I took what was almost $100 out of my budget and turned it into $7 bucks. I am truly over proud of myself and I think I rocked it. Check it out. DIYchalkboard signs coming soon.....Im addicted

I think I should have gone the modge podge route! Haha I used spray glue and got it all over my hands! And the bottom of the shoe! They're flats though thank goodness.

    1. I mixed mod podge and about a teaspoon of the glitter that I was using in a bowl.

    2. Using a foam brush I painted the shoe by sections and sprinkled the glitter on the section with a spoon ( use extra fine glitter it produces much better results) This shoe was a bit more difficult because it is a sandal. A pump or a heel would be much easier. After the first coat I let it dry for about 2 hours and then repeated the process, mostly concentrating on missed spots.

    3. Spray with a little hairspray for extra hold then sit over night. for the mess inside and out try putting tape on the areas that you dont want covered in glitter. and use alcohol to remove any unwanted glitter after they have dried comletely overnight. That is a mouthful. but it really is extremely simple. I hope you try it and post!!!

That's awesome! If I tried to do that, half of the glitter would probably come off! (glitter and I do not get along!)

I LOVE THEM!!!Seriously. I have to do this. Thank you for the directions. If it is as simple as you say, I can do it I am sure (hopefully LOL). I have been dreaming about purple sparkly shoes for the wedding, now I just have to make it happen.
