This is why I plan to write little numbers on the RSVP so when they come back I have a list and can make sure I know who is who. Neat little trick I saw online..

We had the same thing happen. And (different instance) my maid of honor and his best man both asked us how to fill it out and asked what the "M" means... 🤦🏼‍♀️ THEN the best man told us we should have put directions on our website on how to fill it out...

I second the numbering of the RSVP’s! Guess you’ll have to wait and do it by process of elimination and/or possibly straight up ask people you may think it may be from.

Hilarious! I didn’t do mailed invitations and I never realized the letter M on invitations I have received. I had to stop for a second and think about it.

I saw this trick and totally forgot to do it. Lol
I guess I didn’t realize how common it is. Too funny.

Numbering them is a life saver!!!!
One of FHs friends just wrote "solo" on his. Haha but thankfully he wrote his name on the envelope too sp I didn't have to resort to finding the number (I just sort of etched them on back bc the pen didnt work lol)

I used Appy couple and I loved it. It’s $49. You get a wedding website plus you can electronically send the invitations. My guests loved it and it was really easy for them to RSVP. If you look in the discussions I started, I did a review on them and posted screenshots of my website.

I had printed on the rsvps "please include all guest(s) names attending" for this reason. Its surprising how common it is.

I used an invisible ink pen (purchased at school bookfair but amazoncarries them) and numbered them in the order of my spreadsheet

That’s so funny! And frustrating! I saw the trick about numbering RSVPs, but since the back of my cards are black, I just wrote the person’s name super small in black ink. You can just barely see it if you hold it up to the light, but no one else would notice. I didn’t want to go back and forth checking my chart of which number matches each guest.

    LOL!! Smiley xd
I changed the M on our rsvp to Name(s) to make it more clear. I was a little shocked that my bridesmaid told me she doesn't know what the M is for when I showed her the sample.
