Are you putting your DIY skills to use making your favors or are you buying them from a professional?

Neither lol. I think favors are an epic waste of money. No one wants to take them home at the end of the night and no one wants trinkets with your names and date on them.

Pro - we're doing custom-labeled small wine bottles. I was originally going to print labels at home for them, but we found a local winery who does them for a very reasonable price.

Combo, I guess. We are purchasing Lindt chocolates but, I will be DIY-ing the boxes they will go in. We are also giving our guests lotto scratch cards and I will be DIY-ing little paper envelopes for them that say for richer or poorer and making custom lucky scratchers using shrinky dink material.

This is one of the only things we're not DIY'ing - planning to do chocolates from a local company that will tie the ribbons on for us. One less worry, yay!

DIY here! Most people don't really take favors unless it's edible, so I'm doing pretzel rods dipped in chocolate. The chocolate will be dyed an aqua color and half will be rolled in silver sprinkles to match my colors!

Then they'll be wrapped in small bags with a bow on top Smiley smile

Agreed. If you insist on doing favors make it something I can eat. I don't want a candle, coozie, glass, etc with your name and date hanging around my house. Spend the money somewhere else!!

Our favors will serve multiple purposes (we are having a masquerade ceremony, so we are providing masks for the guests to wear that will also have tags with their names and seating arragements), so we are buying them.

Neither!! I’ll be skipping on the favors! Saves money and I don’t think anyone will miss it! If for some reason we have some extra money laying around for favors, I’d probably DIY them!
