Pro - we ordered it off of Etsy. I figure it will be a nice thing to have in the house after the wedding too.

I never even thought of a card box lol. We aren't expecting gifts since it's a DW

I'm planning on DIY for mine. It shouldn't be too difficult. At least I hope not!

Pro - my cousin who is a florist has one that she rents out, so we're using that one. It's a square box that has space for an 8x10 photo on each side, attached to a pedestal. I like that it's big and not something that people can easily walk off with. And, it locks.

DIY. I had originally planned to use whatever the venue provided but, recently my boss gifted me a gorgeous white wooden box that has a space on the sides for photographs. He suggested putting our engagement photos in it and using it for our card box. I loved the idea and will be DIY-ing a vinyl monogram for the lid to dress it up a bit.

Pro. The venue has one that we can borrow (its included in the cost, but I don't like like it.

This is the one I'm ordering. DIY or Pro: Card Box 4

Initially I planned to DIY, but then I got really lucky and found the card holder I wanted on a re-sale site on FB for $25!

I’m DIYing my card box! I found a super cute vintage bird cage at my local antique mall that I’m gonna use for it!

Another pro. I'll probably get one off Etsy or catch one on sale at a craft store.
