I like both ideas. The first one is very fun and whimsical, and the second seems so fresh and elegant. I would say it depends on what kind of vibe you are going for with your wedding Smiley smile

I really like the first one also, if we do the first one then i would like to put pink cotton candy on the bottom maybe instead of jelly beans.

I love the first one! the jelly beans might be better to share around the table, is it too much to mix the two? i hope you have air conditioning, the sugar might melt or get sticky?!

I love the first one. It is adorable and different.

Also...I would use clear glass to show off those jelly beans.

I think if you are having a carnival theme or something where that centerpiece would match the theme it would be fun. But honestly, I think it belongs on the sweet table or at a children's party. But that is just my opinion. Very cute.

Ha I have the same picture saved. We're doing candy centerpieces. A friend of mine is designing them.

I would use a smaller version of idea 1 as the party favors. Those are REALLY cute.

We are making a donation to st. judes as our favors. we considered a candy table but they are so common and everyone does them where i'm from so i thought the centerpieces would still give guest something sweet, but also make things a little different.

Monique- no i never thought of that. good idea!

we may alternate between rock candy, jelly beans, and some other candys.

I really would like to do cotton candy but not real sure how we would do it.

You could probably use a floral foam inside the container(so you can stick the lollipops, then cover with cotton candy.

I think mixing them would be really easy. use jelly beans in the bottom of the clear vase and then lolly pops and cotton candy and rock candy on sticks sticking out of the jelly beans.
