Ok so I tried to make my own broach bouquet! It was well a total failure or at least the start and I do believe I am going to have to have a flower bouquet then add the broaches in with it. Well pictures to follow. :-(

Yah I wanted one to but then decided on a less painful real flower bouquet by the florist was a better bet. I to added some broaches to that

Yes, at bridal shows we've seen the white rose real flower bouquets with some blingy brooches added, and they look just beautiful. Don't give up.

I'm pretty clueless on this but what if you got one of those styrofoam balls and put the brooches on that? Then stick something on the bottom for the handle that you could cover with fabric...?

ETA: some DIY ideas I found on Pinterest

I did that I put a stick in the bottom of the ball and the first time I used a whole ball the second I cut it in half...NOW I will paint the ball next time instead of trying to use ribbon it just would not wrap right. But honestly I am going to have to add some kind of filler because just broaches looks tacky to me.

Here is a youtube. My mom made one for my sister's wedding. She used this method, but used way more broaches.

I would recommend not using the styrofoam ball.

Using the ball helps with the shape but in the end the brooches will either fall out, or rattle.

Wiring each brooch individually is the way to go.

I made 4 brooch bouquets the same way @Mrs_M To Be did. It seems like a lot of work wiring all the brooches but trust me, it's worth it. I also made ribbon roses and used them as the base to get the shape and fill in the gaps between brooches. Some tutorials also use 3 silk Hydrangea stems.

Whichever way you choose it will be worth the effort!

@Heidi I bought mine on eBay by searching for "Brooch Lot". The first lot was huge, maybe 40 brooches.
