Okay so initially FH and I agreed to have about 5 tables reserved and then the others would be open seating. However, after I started thinking about it, I want assigned tables for everyone. I figure, I'd rather assign the tables to ensure everyone is in good company. That way, no one is at a table with someone they don't know or older guests aren't stuck at a table with younger guests. However, I want to make this as PAINLESS as possible. I don't want to do escort cards because that becomes too tedious. How can I implement assigned tables in the easiest way possible without having to do too much work. The hard part of actually assigning the tables has already been done. I was thinking about putting up two 8 1/2 by 11 picture frames on the table at the front of the room by the door that both show the same list of guests and their tables. That way they can glance quickly for their names when they walk into the reception room and seated after they find their name. Any other ideas?

Hi Ladies. I decided to take your advice. I was initially going to buy a seating chart, but decided to make one myself. Please tell me your thoughts. The only thing that is missing our the names and table numbers. I'm going to finish that tomorrow and paste the names on white paper and glue them on top of the blue columns so that a little blue will show underneath.
