Team
Hello, I'm Kiersten and I am the owner and artist behind Floral + Sage. I grew up in a tiny mountain-town in the Sierra Nevadas in Northern California. Since I was young, I have always been in touch with nature and design and not to mention, flower obsessed. The beginning of 2020 I set a goal/intention to create a small business. After losing my father to cancer, I even more-so leaned into the things that brought me joy. Pressing flowers gave me the opportunity to spend time with myself, my thoughts and my feelings and cope with everything the year had thrown my way.
My husband and I are now located in San Diego, and recently welcomed a new addition to our family. I am grateful that this work allows me to be home with my little girl.
For me, pressing flowers is a way to preserve the beauty of florals without having a bouquet go to waste. I absolutely love creating, arranging, designing, playing with color themes, and getting the chance to share that with my clients.
