Amazing Grace for Processional - not in church

I am having a tough time with music selection. I'm not getting married in a church. But church or otherwise do you think it's strange to have the mother's process down the aisle to Amazing Grace?
Advice on how to handle this when caught in the middle...

The bride (my friend) has offered to have an artist come in and do the bridal parties hair and make up on the wedding day. Bride is paying for the services. One BM says she wants her own hair stylist...
