What services does a wedding florist provide?

A wedding florist provides a variety of services, some of which might not be obvious at first.

Consultation: Your wedding florist will meet with you to discuss your vision for your wedding—your venue, your wedding style, your desired color palette, and the types of flowers you like and dislike. Your florist will then create a proposal which will describe the arrangements he or she will create as well as the prices.
Samples: After you’ve signed a contract and shortly before your wedding, your florist may also provide sample arrangements to ensure that you’re on the same page about how your wedding-day flowers will look.
Flowers: A big part of your wedding flower budget will go to the actual purchasing of the flowers. It actually takes several hours for a florist to put a flower order together—and the flowers your florist will receive from his or her wholesaler or grower are far better quality than the ones you can buy at your local grocery store. They’re grown especially to be featured at events and are hand-selected for their quality.
Flower processing and storage: Once your flowers arrive to your florist, he or she will take several hours (often a whole day!) to process your flowers (taking thorns off of roses, counting the flowers, etc.) and storing them in a refrigerated space to ensure they look amazing on your wedding day.
Labor and production: Now, it’s time for your florist to create those beautiful arrangements! Each arrangement takes time to design (probably more than you would think!), so it’s quite a long process.
Delivery and set up: Your florist and his/her team will then bring your arrangements to your venue. A good amount of work needs to be done on premises to make sure that your ceremony and reception looks picture-perfect, from the altar to the reception table arrangements.
Cleanup: After your wedding, your florist and his/her team will go to your venue to remove all of the arrangements and vessels, and assist with cleanup.

Where do I even begin? Michelle was nothing short of amazing to work with. She truly collaborated with me to bring my vision to life and absolutely knocked it out of the park. When she walked in on my wedding day with my bouquet, I had to hold back tears…it was everything I hoped for: elegant, romantic, and timeless. The long-stem rose accents throughout the venue and the thoughtful details in each bud vase on our seating chart display were stunning. It’s been over two weeks since the wedding, and the roses are just starting to wilt…that alone says so much. Michelle’s talent, stunning design work, down to earth personality, and professionalism are just a few of the many reasons I can’t recommend her enough. I truly don’t think I can put into words how much she helped make our wedding an absolute dream.

I worked with Meghan and she was the direct person I had been in touch with thru the whole process. I have worked with her for 3 other events so far. This last one I hired her for a 80th Bday party. The theme was good friends, bright colors and a fun time. We had a photo booth and sparkly linens in dark violet, her favorite color. I was meeting up with all the vendors at the venue, organizing what everyone was setting up and last minute questions. I was supposed to pick up by 4pm at Le's Isle Rose. I was late! I got stuck in traffic. Meghan stayed late to wait for us! She is awesome! They really helped to bring it all together-and the flowers were perfect for our clients! What a great group of siblings to have such a wonderful party for their mom!

These ladies are absolutely amazing!! I was living in Texas, however my wedding was in Massachusetts. Kim and Amanda were very accommodating to meeting via video call and then made a group chat for more to send photo or pinterest ideas to them! They were very communicative throughout the process. I only wanted bouquets and boutonnières for my wedding and they were more than happy to do that and give me different pricing pending what we wanted to include and not. Also their pricing was not crazy like other places i inquired with. On the wedding day they were very punctual and the flower arrangements were GORGEOUS! They were literally my dream arrangements and they even put golf tees in the boutonnières since our wedding was golf themed! All in all I couldn't be happier with their work and would recommend them to anyone!
