Maria is truly the most amazing photographer, and captured exactly what we wanted in our engagement and wedding photos! My husband and I aren't from California, and it was so easy communicating with Maria over email and phone calls to book her for our engagement shoot and wedding. Make sure you book her well in advance, as she is always booked during wedding season! We had our engagement photoshoot at the Big Sur, and our wedding at the Perry House. Maria was wonderful during both, but specifically our wedding. She put myself and my husband at ease since we were both camera shy and a bit nervous, and can't thank Maria enough. To everyone reading, photography is one of the most important vendors you can book for your wedding, as you will have the memories forever. Highly recommend booking Pinklightphotography!

Bobby was exactly what we wanted in our wedding photographer - his aesthetic was on point, he was super easy going, responsive, and was able to meet our budget. The places he took us for our engagement shoot were also so special and really felt like the environment captured us, which we appreciate. And lastly, he was able to spot the right instances on our wedding day to capture the moment through his lens without us telling him, letting us remember it forever.

OMG I can't say enough about this couple! I hired Adam for the photography and his wife Katlyn for hair and makeup as a packaged deal. Katlyn did more than I ever could've dreamed for my wedding look! I'm seriously in love with the hair and makeup she did and can't stop thinking about it! And Adam was SO helpful the whole time during planning and AMAZING during the wedding! I was planning the event from out-of-state and he volunteered to drive all the way to our venue and take videos for us so we could see it better! Not only that, but he was fantastic at helping pose us, and the edited photos we've seen so far are breathtaking!! You will not regret booking either of them for your event!!

Shaun is fantastic! We are beyond happy with Shaun’s services, professionalism, and photos! I would recommend him to everyone. I already do with family and friends. Shaun has been great to communicate with and he was really helpful with my bride anxiety around planning and timing. He brought an assistant who was attentive to details and helped with my dress when she didn’t have to. I can’t say enough about how pleased we are that Shaun was a part of our special day.

Danieka was very professional and very skilled. Her style is so true to life and she captures beautiful shots while being very easy to work with. She and her 2nd shooter were a lot of fun and did a great job - they had a great balance of giving direction for shots while making sure things didn't feel too posed. Our photos were beautiful and I definitely recommend!

My wife and I got married two months ago in Ben Lomond and we still find ourselves talking about how outstanding of a job Dave did and continually receive compliments from our guests. We chatted with Dave before our wedding and he described his focus on exactly what we wanted: capturing “in-between” moments, so to speak, like members of our respective families meeting for the first time, or friends from different spheres of our lives dancing together. My wife and I recently recalled several moments at our wedding where we appreciated a special moment we were having with a guest and thought to ourselves, “you know, it would be really cool to have a photo of what’s happening right now.” Every single time, right after having this thought, we heard a click followed by a flash. He must be a wizard or something. We recently got our finished photos and we were delighted to see countless other priceless snapshots we had no idea happened until now. While these in-between moments were obviously incredibly important for us, Dave is top notch when it comes to posed group photos as well. He’s incredibly skilled at wrangling the necessary people into photos and being considerate of time, and if we ever felt like one segment of photos was going too long, we just told him so and we’d move on. Dave is an incredible talent and just an incredible guy too. We’ll never forget him and can't recommend him highly enough.

Jason was a fabulous photographer! He helped us find the perfect location in Santa Cruz on the beach and offered restaurant recommendations as well. He was so helpful and captured all the special moments of the proposal without being intrusive.

Having Camille as our lead photographer was an amazing experience. She was extremely professional and her expertise in managing the flow of our desired photos provided such ease to our wedding day. We will truly cherish these photos for the rest of our lives and couldn’t be more happy with them!

OJ was the second shooter for our wedding, and if we could go back and rebook we'd have just booked OJ. This isn't just because our actually videographer is ghosting us, but because (unprompted), he reached out to us for a wedding video idea based on the footage he had. He's been incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and has done amazing work.

Hiring Rueben and his team at Loose Tie Photography was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. We hired his team for both photography and videography. From our engagement shoot through to the last dance of our wedding day, the quality of our photos and videos is absolutely stunning and we've received countless compliments. But what truly set Loose Tie apart was the experience. Rueben immediately made us feel comfortable, which was so refreshing as we were worried we'd look awkward during posed photos. He has this rare ability to be incredibly sharp and calculated in his craft, while also being the most laid-back person in the room. He listened intently to our vision, provided advice where we needed help, and effortlessly guided us into natural, fun, and genuine poses, making the entire process feel less like a chore and more like hanging out with a friend. We were also thrilled with how seamlessly Rueben and his team worked with our dog, who was a big part of both the engagement and wedding photos! The preparation leading up to the wedding was exceptional. Rueben and Melissa took the time to visit our family property (our wedding shoot location) twice just to carefully scout locations, map out specific shots, and track where the sun would hit at the perfect time of day. He mirrored this level of diligence at our main venue as well. This calculated approach ensured every moment was captured beautifully and perfectly timed, yet on the wedding day itself, we never once felt stressed about the timeline or logistics. On the day of the wedding, Rueben and his team were a seamless, nearly invisible presence. They managed to capture every key moment without ever being disruptive. Our bridal party and family constantly commented on how awesome, professional, and friendly the whole team was. We wholeheartedly recommend Loose Tie Photography for anyone seeking beautiful, high-quality documentation of their special day, delivered by a team that feels like family.
