We absolutely LOVED the Pavillion and everyone who works there! Taylor was our day of coordinator and Evan was our bartender. I can not express how SMOOTHLY they made everything goin in the process and on the day of.

When planning our wedding last August, we were overwhelmed with options when it came to choosing a venue, but Spring Lake quickly became our first choice when we visited. We were taken back by the serene atmosphere and the tree-lined drive to enter the venue’s property. This private space was perfect for our wedding day. We saved on decorations, choosing to go more simple as the large windows looking out to the lake were more than enough to create a memorable atmosphere. Our catering staff were easily accommodated, and the Spring Lake staff was welcoming and prepared to help wherever we needed them. The owners of Spring Lake are exceptional and wonderful to work with from beginning to end. We could not recommend Spring Lake more highly to couples and individuals looking for a space to host an event.

2016 Main and its staff turned out to be inimitable pieces of what made our wedding absolutely perfect. From the very first meeting with its dutiful and accommodating owner, all through the assisted planning and design processes, to the last time we shook hands at the conclusion of our joyous reception, this venue served as a modern yet versatile space that gave us senses of both security and excitement for the big day. My wife and I were fortunate enough to reserve 2016 Main for both our ceremony and reception. Nicolas, new yet experienced management, worked in a flawless balance to oversee the integration of 2016 Main's top-notch sound system with our DJs. Bar packages including staff worked with the venue through his company, Sidecar Cocktail Catering Co. The owner also facilitated discounts through a professional partnership with Brancato's Catering. Lot parking, private security, vendor coordination, you name it. Any time that we had questions, Nicolas had solutions. 2016 Main offers everything you need to make your wedding successful and everything you could want to make it unforgettable.

Grand Street Cafe was absolutely perfect for our wedding reception. Molly, the event coordinator, was great to work with all year answer my (many) questions and so helpful the night of. We could not have pulled it off without her! We opted for a buffet and the food was great. We had compliments from friends after about it! We loved that we could go do the tasting ahead of time, but then even go try a few more appetizers later since some are served on the regular restaurant menu. They also really helped us accommodate a few food allergies for guests. Having the food & beverage services in house and done by a team of professionals also really helped make it stress-free/so much less to coordinate ahead of time. They know what they are doing! The space itself is beautiful and fit our 225 guests comfortably, though I don't think I would go over that number. The white draped ceilings, string lights and center chandelier all show so beautifully in photos and it was awesome to have their tea lights/other options to mix in with our decor. We didn't need to add very much else other than flowers and signage! We did decide to order additional floor length linens different from what the agreement comes with, and Molly helped facilitate all of the ordering of those as well. Vendors were able to get in that morning/afternoon to set up (flowers, cake, DJ, photo booth, etc. -- though we didn't need as many outside vendors since they already provide a lot!) and we were able to drop off items the week of/pick some up the next morning. The flexibility on this was a huge help. And finally, parking is awesome! For our older family members, they made many comments about how easily accessible the parking was -- and that is a huge plus that not many venues closer in to the city/downtown have! This venue is beautiful, organized and SO wedding friendly! I picked The Everly as our venue because I liked their process of flipping the ceremony to the reception and their layout was perfect for our guest count. They go above and beyond by providing linens and giving amazing vendor recommendations! I worked with Ana and she was so easy to communicate with!

I can't say enough about working with Linda at Aramark. They were one of the 8 approved vendors for Little Theatre, and we decided to do a tasting with them. Linda worked with me to create a menu that would accommodate all of our guests dietary needs, and was flexible as we changed things along the way. The food was very good the day of the wedding, and Linda stepped up to help us out when the chargers we rented from another vendor showed up with chips and dings. She offered Aramark's gold chargers at no charge for our use. The staff with Aramark was fantastic as well. I would definitely recommend them as a caterer!

Visiting La Villa feels like you've been transported to an Italian village...but you're really in midwestern Kansas City! It's a beautiful place for your wedding. If you value simple, special beauty, I would highly recommend looking into La Villa. You can take their space and perfectly cater it to whatever creative vision or color scheme you want. We had 135 guests and that was the perfect amount for the space. It did get a little cramped during cocktail hour because it was raining and we couldn't go to the courtyard space. The price was not bad and their policies ensure that you are prepared for an amazing event or wedding. Hannah and her team were amazing to work with and talk to. They really value and love their couples there.

We had such a great wedding day at the Austin! The space was perfect for 115 guests. We even closed off an area to make the space more intimate. The urban covered outdoor space is is great for an outdoor ceremony and helpful for bad weather/shade. The main dining hall has more of an art deco feel with a touch of romance. Lots of bathrooms to accommodate large parties. The acoustics in the space for our live band were perfect. The Austin staff was so kind and helpful throughout the whole process. Would book an event again there!

Meg did an amazing job coordinating and organizing our wedding! From the venue, food, music, and any changes we needed throughout the process, things could not have gone more smoothly. Meg helped to make our big day perfect, thanks so much!

I can’t say enough great things about The Venue in Leawood! From start to finish, everything was truly perfect. The space itself was exactly what I needed — spacious enough to comfortably host all 75 of my guests, yet still felt warm and inviting. The finishing touches throughout the venue really added an elegant feel and made everything look polished and beautiful. The bar setup was fantastic, and our bartender went above and beyond to accommodate every single request with a smile — such a pro! A special shoutout to Elizabeth, who worked closely with me and honestly felt more like a wedding planner than just a venue coordinator. She took care of so many little details and made sure everything ran smoothly, which allowed me to actually enjoy my day without stress. One of my favorite parts was how hands-off the entire process was for me. The Venue provided several of my decorations, handled all of the set-up and tear-down, and made sure the space was absolutely flawless. The only thing I had to do was show up! If you’re looking for a beautiful, well-managed space with an incredible team behind it — look no further. I’m beyond happy I found this place and would recommend it to anyone planning an event. Thank you for making my day so special!
