We hosted our daughter’s wedding reception at The Oaks Event Hall and couldn’t have been happier! The venue was beautiful and spotless, the food was amazing, and the staff was so efficient and friendly. Theresa went above and beyond—her passion and attention to detail made our vision come to life effortlessly. From start to finish, everything was organized and stress-free. Truly a five-star experience!

Williams on the Lake was EXCEPTIONAL! From Aly, our wedding coordinator, to Mark and Dave, our Executive Chefs, to Jessica, who kept everyone adequately hydrated (😉), to the rest of the staff, all our needs exceeded expectations. We had a beautiful ceremony out on the courtyard followed by an extraordinary reception in Lakeside South. The food, service and décor were fantastic. We highly recommend Williams on the Lake! We used The Lodge for a fundraiser dinner. A great experience all around. Shari was helpful all the way around. Good communication and assistance with anything we needed. Clean and modern facility with a great kitchen area. Plenty of parking and easy to access from 3 major highways. Loved by all guests. Would definitely go back. Thank you

My wife and I had been planning to renew our vows on our 25th anniversary and plans kept changing as to where we were going to do them at and how to celebrate afterward due to everything going on in the world as of late…it was just going to be a very intimate affair with just our kids involved. We learned of a new venue opening soon in Girard, OH—Provence Mills, and they were more than inviting and compassionate to the challenges we were facing trying to plan our special day. Kara and Slavenca, the co-owners and event planners, couldn’t have possibly done a finer job hosting us after our ceremony. They purposefully set-up two separate seating areas—one overlooking a spectacular view of a wooded valley to enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres; the other within a really cool steel structure to enjoy our main meal. And the food! The hors d’oeuvres were nothing short of spectacular—artichokes romano and bacon-wrapped filets, followed, at our own pace, with scallops, ahi tuna, caprese salad, and prosciutto-wrapped asparagus as our main course. They finished-off the evening with a replica of our wedding cake, which was such a special touch! The whole evening was unforgettable, and my wife and I remarked that it might have actually been better than our actual wedding day festivities, because we could just relax and enjoy ourselves. We didn’t have the pressure of greeting guests and “putting on a show”. Kara’s and Slavenca’s attention to detail was ridiculous! They didn’t miss a thing and they secretly worked with our daughter to have pictures from our original wedding sitting in tasteful frames around the respective seating areas. That was so nice! It really took us back to that day. Before dinner, they arranged to play our wedding song, which gave me the chance to dance with my wife again. They also arranged to have a photographer there to capture the moments as we arrived and interacted with our adult kids throughout the evening. It was just such a great and special evening for us. We didn’t know what to expect, as we left the whole evening in Kara’s hands to coordinate…if they do for a bigger event what they did for us, you’ll be extremely happy. Simply amazing!

Gordon Green was the perfect venue for our cocktail hour and reception! Jacob, Delaney, and the entire team went above and beyond to make sure the planning process and our wedding day itself were as smooth and joyful as possible. The courtyard offered an elegant and spacious setting for our guests to mingle, dine, and enjoy live entertainment, while the sails provided shade without compromising the view. The interior space was stunning, with antique tin ceilings, skylights, wood floors, and a striking marble bar, all creating a luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere. The venue felt like the perfect elevated canvas for us to add our creative designs. We also appreciated the flexibility to personalize the space with hanging floral installations, real lit candles, and custom furniture, allowing it to truly reflect our style. All our other vendors were excited to work with GG, and we really appreciated the collaborations as it made the wedding planning process smooth for us! We are deeply grateful to GG for providing such a beautiful backdrop and for their care in helping us create a day we will never forget.

I would highly recommend Vell’s for a wedding reception! I worked personally with Dee for months to achieve the best day of my life. Her customer service is phenomenal. She is easy to reach for questions, responsive, and helpful every step of the way. The food is 10/10 and you also get a wonderful tasting experience! A huge number of my guests raved about the food. The desserts were also diverse and delicious. Dee’s husband was incredibly helpful with keeping the evening on track and answering questions related to bartending. They are an excellent pair. The venue is classy inside and out. I have gorgeous gazebo photos which added to my wedding day substantially also. Dee was kind enough to accommodate us there as well. Overall the best venue experience I could have asked for and I highly recommend to all future brides!

My husband and I are so happy we chose to be married at Hoover Hall! The outdoor patio is the perfect ceremony site complete with waterfall, string lights and beautiful landscaping. The hall is gorgeous also - rustic but convenient with indoor bathrooms and prep kitchen, unlike some barns we looked at. You have the run of the grounds which gives you access to many great photo sites, including a covered bridge and the Hoover House. Lori and Jackie are great and easy to work with and the food is delicious.

Hannah, thank you for putting up with my endless emails and making it work when we downsized, the space looked beautiful and didn’t feel too big for the number of people in attendance. being able to bring in your own vendors, booze, and style into a venue is a huge plus not to mention getting the space from Wednesday to Monday really allows you to take your time when setting up and not feel rushed to set up the day of.

Used Market Square as my wedding reception space. We chose this location due to the HUGE open space and all the beautiful natural lighting! Absolutely blown away with how effortless it felt to planning a large reception in this space. There is a list of contracted vendors you must use in the space but all the additional vendors were affordable and easy to work with. The facilities coordinator was very responsive and was able to let us walk through the space multiple times leading up to the wedding. Such a great experience and would recommend to anyone else considering this space!

Working with the White Rose Barn was simply a dream come true. The venue is absolutely stunning and we had so many compliments. Kevin was available 24/7 for me when I needed him and was very quick at getting back. This venue made our day magical
