If you’re looking for your non traditional ballroom type and want a modernized farmhouse type vibe. This is it! The whole team has been amazing during the whole process. Communication was great! This place is amazing with so many options for pictures and mostly private.

We were thrilled with how our wedding turned out at maritime parc. Our guests raved about the food, and could not get over the views!! All of the staff we dealt with were beyond lovely. We could not recommend this venue more!

I don't understand how this venue is not more widely used! It's truly stunning, with architecture and details that you almost never see anymore, and 22 bedrooms to sleep your family. You also get the manor for the whole day which allowed us to enjoy every moment, not have to travel between places, and not feel that the day zipped by. We got married by the Koi pond in August 2025, which was beautiful and very well coordinated by Linda. Linda and her staff were extremely well organized and I did not have to lift a finger the whole day. They handled all of my requests, even ones that were probably outside of their job description, with professionalism and efficiency. If something went wrong, we had no idea as it was handled by them. We were able to be fully present in the day because of them. They even helped accommodate early check in for family traveling. We did not hire a planner or coordinator and Linda and her team filled this role perfectly. The food is something that is still talked about today by our guests. Many of our guests and ourselves are big foodies and we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food for a wedding venue, which tasted more like restaurant quality. The package itself comes with such a great amount of food down to every detail (welcome champagne, lemonade, signature drinks) and without any upgrades to the package, our guests told us that there were so many food options and they were so full. The base package is perfect and they really do not skimp on you. The cocktail hour on the first floor of the castle was so unique and raved about by most of our guests, and was one of our favorite parts of the night. There are ENDLESS picturesque places for your photos, and the grounds and castle are like a playground for your photographer. You will be overjoyed when you see what can be done here in terms of photos. Service wise, we felt everything went smoothly, organized, and efficiently. We did hear from friends that the innkeeper was a bit short when requests were made, but we found him to be very kind and he got the job done. As a side note, some reviews mentioned no air conditioning - this was not an issue for us. There were AC units in each of the rooms and they were cool and comfortable. The cocktail hour, reception, etc, were also air conditioned starting the day before to ensure that the whole building was comfortable in August. Some things worth considering: - aside from bedrooms in the manor, the nearest hotels are ~20 min drive away - a decent number of the rooms do not have private bathrooms, and some bathrooms are even shared in the hallway like a dorm (we gave these to the men and had no complaints) - ballroom is okay looking and does not match the aesthetic of the rest of the manor, but is certainly sufficient - rain plan option if you plan on being married outside is the ballroom, which is not ideal. Chapel does not fit many people so it is not always a rain plan option - you cannot bring in outside food. This makes the breakfast and lunch a bit expensive if you are there all day - they do not close off the entire outdoor grounds as it is a public property - we did not find this to be a problem. Only wedding guests were allowed inside the manor. - not the most responsive leading up to the wedding and did require some follow up emails, but always ended up being reachable Overall, this place is truly a hidden gem. Compared to other venues of this grade, we were shocked by how much they included in their package and found it to be a great deal for the money we paid. We highly, highly recommend considering Skylands as the place for your wedding!

Brielle and the entire Meadow Wood team went above and beyond for our wedding day. In the months leading up to the event, Brielle was always quick to answer every question we had and made sure we had the correct information to plan everything confidently and stress-free. Every usher we worked with on the day of was incredible — attentive, kind, and always one step ahead of anything we or our families needed. The staff was warm and professional, the food was outstanding, and our guests are still raving about the desserts! They also went out of their way to accommodate us and ensure we received full value during our time at The Meadow Wood. We couldn’t be happier with our experience, and we highly recommend The Meadow Wood team to anyone planning a wedding!!!

My wife and I had just gotten married last weekend. Throughout the entire night and the entirety of this last week, we had people approaching us saying that this was the best wedding that they had ever been to. Both my wife and I agree when we say that we are so pleased with absolutely everything to do with the day. We would recommend this venue to absolutely anyone who wants a beautiful wedding day. The venue is gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the staff was very attentive. We love Nanina's!

I had a large group event here, and everything was perfect thanks to the amazing staff! From day one of planning, they were commutative, responsive, and extremely professional. They seriously took all the stress away and coordinated everything seamlessly. You can really tell they take pride in what they do. I have some very picky family members and they accommodated everyone flawlessly. I will definitely be recommending them to family and friends, and maybe even using them again in the future!

Bear Brooke Valley speaks for itself. This is truly the most beautiful venue I have ever been to. This venue was the first venue I visited. During my tour I can recall standing on the back porch and just envisioning having my reception there. I left BBV feeling like that was the venue that I absolutely wanted to book with. I visited the others that I had appointments for and after every one concluded I would say "Its nice, but it's not Bear Brook". I compared all the other venues to BBV and just knew that BBV was the the one for us. Something about the grounds, the people and the atmosphere drew me in. I found BBV to be one of the more affordable venues in North Jersey and one that had so much included in the final price. There were no hidden fees, the number they gave you at the first meeting was the number you paid for at the end (with the exception of add ons if you so desired to add things on, we did) BBV is the total package. Truthfully, you do not need any add ons because what BBV includes is more than enough, but we did opt to add a few more things to enhance our experience even more. The entire team at BBV is incredibly professional and helpful every step of the way. Ensle was amazing to work with. He helped me though every part of the planning process, I can't thank him enough. On the wedding day I had the pleasure of being assisted by Amanda and my husband, by Kyle. They both exceeded expectations. They were by us throughout the entire night to help with anything that we need. Amanda steamed ALL of the dresses, held my dress while walking around the grounds and always made sure there was a drink in our hands. The bartenders made amazing drinks, the spicy marg was one of the best I've ever had! The service staff were fantastic, I had guests coming up to me all night to tell me how great you all were. My husband and I are over the moon about our BBV experience. We speak so highly of BBV and their staff. Truly, it was a night we will NEVER forget. Thank you for the amazing memories at your beautiful venue. P.S: My dog came to take pictures with us when we got back from the church and he would not stop barking (*eye roll*). BBV got our dog FRESHLY COOKED BACON as a treat to get him to stop barking... BACON!! Amazing (and hilarious), you guys are awesome. Thank you so much for going above and beyond for us (& Maui)!

Our wedding at Rock Island Lake Club was nothing short of perfect. This venue truly has it all. It is stunning, impeccably organized, and the food is absolutely delicious. The staff is incredibly accommodating, and I would choose this place 10 times out of 10. The grounds are filled with picture perfect spots, from the whimsical swing tucked away in the woods to the serene dock where we had our first look. These settings made for unforgettable moments and breathtaking photos. And the uplighting inside? An absolute must do. It transformed the room into something straight out of a dream. A few honorable mentions: our wedding coordinator, Stephanie, and my wife’s personal confidant, Abby, were absolute rockstars. Not only did they make sure we always had fresh drinks in hand, but they kept reassuring us that we were perfectly on time and they made sure of it. Jill was also a huge help. When the day turned out to be hotter than expected, she made sure we had fans right away. This venue runs like a well oiled machine. Everything was seamless, and they truly made our day magical. There were even a few behind the scenes moments I did not learn about until later. For example, when one of our guests accidentally cut their hand on glass, the staff immediately went into “medical mode” and took care of them so discreetly that I had no idea it even happened until after the wedding. That guest later told us the wedding staff took better care of them than the urgent care did the next day. From start to finish, Rock Island Lake Club exceeded every expectation and helped create memories I will cherish for a lifetime.

Our wedding at Casa Bianca was everything we dreamed of and more. From our very first visit, Sami and his wonderful family treated us like their own. You can feel how much pride and heart they put into every event they host. Michael, the event coordinator, was such a pleasure to work with. He made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free, always ready with a solution or suggestion. Liddy, the bridal attendant, went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of throughout the day. One of the things that stood out most was how accommodating everyone was. No matter what we asked for, their response was always positive. They truly made us feel that our day mattered to them. The food was outstanding, and our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was. We also couldn’t believe the value we received for a Saturday night wedding during peak season. Everything we wanted was included, and the price was unbeatable. Casa Bianca is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it gets. If you want a venue where you’ll be treated like family, with amazing food and exceptional service, this is the place. We are forever grateful for the perfect day they gave us.
