Restaurant Wedding Venues in Providence

We did not do a traditional wedding reception and they worked with us the whole time to make it exactly what we wanted. We booked with them from 12-4PM, we did appetizers, desserts and drinks, and we did a one hour open bar. We are so grateful for the team at Merrill’s for everything they did to make our wedding celebration special. Everything looked perfect, and the food and service was amazing. Our guests were very happy and kept complimenting the food and the signature drink. It was such a pleasure to work with Victoria throughout this whole process. It was easy to work with her and the communication was always quick and easy.

I feel like I owe my life to Carly and the entire team at The Reserve. My wedding was on NYE, and I had originally booked another venue. This venue called me 7 months before the wedding to let me know that they were under new ownership and would be closing from November to April to conduct renovations, and cancelled all events during that time. As I frantically search for a new venue, Carly welcomed me with open arms and took care of everything for us. I can't say enough wonderful things about this company. Not only was The Reserve ABSOLUTELY STUNNING and PERFECT for my NYE black tie wedding, the entire team was spectacular from the very beginning. We felt so comfortable all the way from planning to the day of, and I truly have them to thank for making our wedding as perfect as it was. Thank you, Carly, and The Reserve!!

We had our rehearsal dinner at Sardella's in May 2018. We had to change the time of our reservations on a few instances but Patrick was able accommodate without any issues. We only had 16 people at our rehearsal dinner so we didn't book a private room. Patrick set us up at a semi-private table and it seemed as though we had a private room. Our waiter Matt did such a great job with the entire party and all food came out at the same time. All of our guests raved about how delicious everything was - from the appetizers and drinks to the entrees! You won't be disappointed here!

This venue is amazing. You start with large mosaic marble floors, kept in perfection for your dance floor. Softness of colors and tones. The service is very attentive every time we arrive. The staff works like clockwork. We are generally hired to do the soft elegant draping to hide the giant doors. It just transforms the room and transcends you from a corporate "hard" look for the space into a romantic luxurious event such as a wedding or anniversary party! My fiancé and I go to Newport at least twice a month in the summer and we go to Brick Alley for lunch every single time. It is our favorite place. The bar is great, the decor is awesome and the food and drinks are incredible. Everyone is so friendly. We will continue to come here every time we’re in Newport

We hosted our wedding reception at Waterman Grille in September 2022, in the Riverview Room. It was the best! The ambiance, the food, the drinks, and the staff were the best we could have hoped for. They helped us plan our ideal evening and were flexible with how we wanted to handle our drink menu. We got so much good feedback from our guests about the delicious food! Staff were welcoming, polite, and so accommodating. We highly recommend Waterman Grille for events, including wedding receptions.

Food was excellent! Loved my waitress Angie! She was very attentive and quick ! Excellent customer service I loved the family style chicken and the salad ! Great would come back !

Best day of my life! Me and my husband had our wedding here and they could not have made it a more perfect day. From all of the staff, starting with Alison coordinating everything for months, Kristina coordinating the day off with the wait captain.. it was just incredible. They made me and my quests feel like royalty and I’ll forever be grateful.

Massimo is awesome! Not only is it is our favorite restaurant on the hill, it is also a fantastic place to have a wedding reception. Considering the quality of the food, and the warm colors and decor, Massimo made for the perfect venue. Not to mention the staff! From the get-go, we were impressed with Chris’ professionalism and attention to detail. He really was on top of everything. Even dealing with some last minute changes on the day of, he was ready for everything and didn’t miss a beat. The whole staff was super friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend!

We had our welcome party here the night before our wedding. Susan was AMAZING throughout the whole process. We were blown away when we arrived the night of. The location is so beautiful and the set up was perfect. All the staff was so accommodating and everyone loved the food. Would highly recommend having any type of party here!
