The food is superb, we had not one complaint about the food, the drinks, the elegant place. It has a charm all it's own, and so does Cathy. Let her work her magic for you!

We are so happy that we went with 2941 Restaurant for our venue (for both the ceremony and reception). The venue is SO beautiful and the food was AMAZING! So many of our guests said that this was the best wedding that they ever went to and a large part of that is due to 2941. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the main dining room (overlooking the trees and lake) look so lovely - so much so that we didn’t feel the need to spend too much money on huge table centerpieces. The outside area is beautiful for photos, with a few waterfalls, ponds and a large lake. The event staff was wonderful and everything went smoothly and according to our timeline. Over the course of the year leading up to our wedding day, Michelle accommodated all of our needs as we prepared for the wedding (and even very last-minute changes) and was so helpful. On the actual wedding day, Sam made sure that everything was perfect. The food was so delicious and the presentation for all of it was so beautiful - so much nicer than what we would have had with a regular caterer. We cannot recommend 2941 enough!

I had my wedding at this venue, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. Everything was absolutely beautiful — from the atmosphere to the service. The staff was attentive, professional, and made sure every detail was perfect. I’m so glad I chose this place for my special day, it truly made my wedding unforgettable!

We recently held our wedding reception at the Union Street Public House, and we are absolutely blown away by the experience. From the initial inquiry to the final toast, the service provided by the venue and their phenomenal event coordinator, Cheryl, was nothing short of exceptional. Planning a wedding can be chaotic, but Cheryl's attentiveness made the entire journey incredibly smooth. She was a dream to work with! Her communication skills are top-tier; she was always available to answer our calls, respond to detailed emails promptly, and patiently guide us through the myriad of decisions required for a perfect evening. We always felt informed and prioritized. On the night of the reception, everything flowed seamlessly from start to finish. The atmosphere at the Public House, nestled right in historic Old Town, was exactly what we envisioned—warm, inviting, and vibrant. The staff were professional and efficient, ensuring every guest felt welcomed and taken care of. Cheryl was present and discreetly managing every detail, meaning my husband and I didn't have to worry about a single thing other than enjoying our celebration. If you want a beautiful venue in the heart of historic Old Town, with a coordinator who treats your day with immense care and professionalism, Union Street Public House and Cheryl are the perfect choice. Great location for a traditional Asian 9 course banquet. VERY responsive restaurant owner. Room decor did not need to be planned, as the restaurant was beautiful enough, so the only decor we used was DIY floral centerpieces. Was able to change the number of tables/guests even up until the week before the wedding. They also went so far as to create a separate 9 course vegetarian menu for separate vegetarian tables.

I've hosted many 100+ person events in my time, but this 200 person event had to be the easiest of all time. The staff is highly responsive, presents ideas, makes connections with their vendors and is genuinely just lovely to work with. I can't stress the communication of the staff being some of the best I've had in my 10+ years of planning. It was just too easy! The food also had rave reviews from my attendees which is always a big plus in my book!

Chima was an incredible reception venue. We had a Saturday lunchtime reception, which was good value for the quality of food and service we received (a dinnertime reception was unaffordable for us, but lunchtime worked beautifully as they aren't open then anyway so the minimum was very reasonable). There was no separate venue fee, just the cost of food and drink. It's a beautiful restaurant - we barely did any decorating at all and it was still a lovely venue. Christina and Juarez were friendly and extremely helpful, willing to work with any requests we had but also very efficient with their own organization and setup. Even with almost 200 guests, all guests were served promptly and taken care of well. Everyone raved about the quality of food and the venue itself. Chima even sent us a special wedding gift after the wedding was over! The whole team there truly went above and beyond to make our reception special. I would highly recommend this as a reception venue.
