My now husband & I looked all over the state of Ohio for the perfect wedding venue. I wanted a place outside, by the water, he wanted air conditioned inside reception. We found everything we were looking for at Maumee Bay resort & Lodge. We were able to have our ceremony outside by the water, and our reception in their air conditioned ballroom. We also loved that our out of town family and friends had a place to stay right onsite. Julia the coordinator with Maumee Bay was so wonderful to work with and went above and beyond to help us have the wedding day of our dreams. What a gem of a venue that we discovered.

We had a wonderful wedding and planning experience with the Hilton Garden Inn Perrysburg. Natalie and the staff was very easy to work with and helped our vision become reality. The food was amazing and they had a great list of vendors they recommended. Thank you to the staff who made our day stress free!

This was our 3rd time at this hotel, and each time we loved it. Very clean with many amenities. I want to give a shout out to two special people: Cassie and Pickles. Cassie is a wonderful waitress/ bartender. She gave us very special attention and service. Pickles was the chef, and he went way out of his way to make sure our our meals were prepared exactly the way we wanted. The food was delicious! We'll come back again just because of these terrific people. Even though onion rings were not on the menu, Cassie created some for us.,and they were also delicious! Needless to say, we had a great experience.

Perfect for large parties and to have everything in one place. We held our reception here, our after party and our brunch and all of our guests could enjoy the venue and stay the night there without worrying about driving or transportation to any place else! We had 4 different coordinators throughout all of the covid situation in 2020 but the Renaissance was so flexible about rescheduling, refunding and booking our 2021 date! Everyone was knowledgeable, professional, responsive, and congenial! Our last coordinator was Allie and she was an absolute joy to work with! The director and other coordinators present the day of were phenomenal! All hands on deck to make our day special and comfortable for all of our guests! The ballroom is beautiful, MASSIVE, and the food is incredible! There was some confusion with the brunch staff and the amount of bars for our cocktail hour but everything worked out! As I said the coordinators are very responsive! Would recommend this venue to any couple but especially those with large guest lists and/or id you have a lot of guests coming in from out of town!

My husband Nick and I had the privilege of hosting our wedding at the Hancock Hotel, and it was nothing short of magical. The hotel’s modern and elegant design was so stunning that we barely needed additional decor – it’s a decor in itself! The hotel staff was exceptional, providing impeccable service that left a lasting impression on all our family and friends. The upscale hotel ballroom was absolutely gorgeous, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. They surprised us by upgrading our room to the presidential suite, and the personalized thank you card and custom throw blanket with our last name and wedding date stitched in was a heartwarming touch. We were genuinely shocked by their generosity and attention to detail. A special shoutout to our on-site wedding coordinator, Kery Knox, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was kind and incredibly helpful, making the planning process a breeze. Not to mention the delightful gourmet chocolate-covered pretzels left on our bed – it was a sweet ending to a perfect day. The Lakeside Event staff was great to work with throughout or wedding planning process. Their responses were always prompt, even during the super busy summer season. The staff was super helpful with all of our requests and questions and also flexible during our wedding weekend. Melanie, one of the staff members, planned ahead so that we were able to utilize the rain location at the last second. Overall, the Lakeside Event team is great to work with, super friendly, and will make sure your event goes as smooth as possible.
