I am so glad we chose FOY to be our wedding venue -our day was ABSOLUTELY perfect. From the start Ali and her team were incredibly helpful, we found almost all of our vendors from their recommendations and we honestly had the DREAM TEAM. I should add though you don’t have to choose from there preffered list -you have a lot of freedom for any vendors you want to use with no additional fees (….which I know is not the case for all venues -so I was grateful). Did I mention they are pup friendly? Our girl Mochi hung with us all day which was just so special. Our guests loved the champagne welcome with the historical greeters (we were able to hire via the FOY).They also were able to enjoy the exhibits and of course getting to hang with/ feed the peacocks before the ceremony. We had 140 guests and we all comfortably fit in the magnolia room for our plated dinner service, we had the dance floor right outside on the patio and the ceremony itself was at the waterfront. We were also able to book the bridal cottage which fit myself, my 7 bridesmaids, 3 moms, and our 2 hair and 2 makeup vendors perfectly with more than enough room. The full fridge and full bathroom was super handy too- especially being able to run and use that restroom throughout the night (trust me a private restroom is handy when you have a giant wedding dress lol) This may also seem silly to add but I also loved that there was a ton of parking available for our guests and vendors- St Aug is a hard city to find parking in and all the other venues we viewed didn’t have any free parking options. We can’t recommend the FOY enough! (I don’t have all my wedding photos back yet but here’s a mix of iPhone and a few sneak peaks from my photographer)

We had my daughter’s wedding here and it was perfect!! Food was delicious, guests really enjoyed every bite. Gorgeous backdrop for wedding pics! They have a sports simulator which became a favorite with the guests! They all kicked back with a beer and got competitive playing against one another while wedding party took pics. Their amazing pastry chef Nick made her a beautiful and delicious cake along with a grooms chocolate torte cake, omg!!! Guests took pieces of cake home with them, that good! Overall, the venue is so pretty and so perfect. We would definitely have another wedding or gathering here! We then had to go back at eat in the restaurant and yuummm! Everything we had was delicious! Beautiful surroundings and great bar area too! Thank you guys for making my daughter’s special day perfect! ❤️

When we started the planning process we knew we wanted an outdoor wedding and Kanapaha Botanical Gardens immediately caught our eyes. The gardens themselves are gorgeous, and there are numerous options for a ceremony space. We chose to have ours in the Bamboo Garden and we couldn't have been happier. The weather in April was perfect. There are also two options for an indoor reception area. While only one is included in the base rental price, you can opt to rent the second for an additional fee. We rented both and used one to get ready in. They also have a golf cart you can rent, which was super helpful when we were going around with our photographers. The event coordinator, Mischella, was super helpful and very prompt in her email responses. She made sure that the tables and chairs that were included in the rental were set up exactly as we wanted them to be. She also made sure we had several options for a backup ceremony space just incase of inclement weather. They are also very flexible on which vendors you use, but I would recommend asking for their preferred vendor list. These vendors, most of which we used, are excellent and all of them offer some sort of discount. Overall, I highly recommend them.

The staff is awesome. It has been a privilege so far to work with them. I can't wait to see how they make my wedding day a wonderful experience.

From the planning, details, and communication this venue and their staff were beyond anything I could have expected. Our planner Natalie was AMAZING! She made sure every detail was covered and we didn't have to worry about anything at all. The venue was beautiful and the burning of sage before the event added that little touch we loved. I highly recommend using this venue and all it has to offer! If we could do it again, we would. Thank you so much again for making our day one we will never forget!

So had to postpone cuz of the virus but decided to finally take the plung in July 2020 even with the virus still happening. The chapel was beautiful and the pics were perfect , couldn’t ask for a better site.

I’ve had the pleasure of working at this venue several times as a makeup artist, and I also attended their bridal expo this past January. Every experience has been absolutely wonderful! The staff is incredibly professional and kind, especially Libby and Debbie, who are so detail-oriented and make every event run smoothly. The barn is absolutely beautiful, rustic yet timeless, with décor that feels warm, inviting, and full of charm. You can tell how much love and care goes into every detail. If I were to get married again, this would be my first and only choice without hesitation. Highly recommend this amazing team and stunning venue!
